I was wondering if anyone knew how to turn on nfc through my moto 360 device. Is it possible? I have looked through various place across the internet with no luck. Any Ideas?
Thanks

I want to create a smart watch app that can connect to any Bluetooth SPP (Serial Port Protocol) source, and then carry on a text conversation on the watch face (kind of like a Hyperterm session).
Is this even possible with the Moto 360 SDK?
Can anyone suggest an approach?
Is there any smart watch SDK out there with the capability to develop this? The only other way I see of doing this would be to root a watch with my own kernal, but I'm not prepared to do that.

I was searching something similar too, does anyone know or there is a solution?
Thank you.
Same here, did you find Something useful?
Hey Everyone!
I just bought a Moto 360 even though I have an iPhone. Through the use of a trusty old Xperia U I managed to do the first configuration and update to the latest O.S. on the watch, adding the Wi-Fi standalone connectivity.
The use I want to do of the device is the following:
Occasionaly, through the Android phone, add watch faces
Siply use the watch standalone for Steps, Heart Rate, and notifications maybe with Aerlink
At this point I would like to set the watch to connect to my home wifi network, and simply upload the fitness data to Google fit in the cloud, without ever using my old android phone (except for new watch faces or changing configuration or updates). Can anyone help me out in achieving this??
Thanks to all!!

unpair (reset) and pair again..
It seems that instead of disconnecting and reconnecting when out of range, my Moto thinks it's unpairing and keeps sending repair requests. You have to accept these on both phone and watch. But then it no longer keeps the phone as a trusted device. Hopefully we won't have to wait another 1.5 years for a fix.
Hi guys
My firestick remote has randomly stopped working, I have tried many sets of new batteries with no luck and a few reset techniques with no joy.
Along with this, my firestick has somehow lost WiFi signal and now says "home is unavailable" all the time, so I have no remote and no way of adding my phone as a back up remote as the stick has no WiFi.
Any ideas? Has this happened to anyone else before?
Thanks
Sounds like you have one of the WiFi based remotes, so if the wireless on your device is not working, changing the batteries won't help.
Even if you could find one of the early Bluetooth remotes, you still would not have WiFi to connect anything else.
Hi all, I've been following the development with unlocking the bootloader and loading magisk to the pixel watch. I'm curious as to the ways this can be used. I wonder if there is a way to setup the pixel watch via windows laptop using ADB commands or through magisk or in some fashion through a wired connection. Also has anyone began developing a custom jig for the watch?
I want to see to what extent the pixel watch can function as a standalone smartwatch. It can download apps and receive updates by itself and/or with a laptop. I wonder, besides setup, if the LTE watch needs a phone afterwards at all.
For Samsung Watches since Gear S2 (Tizen) this Trick exists:
Maybe something similar possible on Pixel Watch...
