I don't know if this is really the right place to ask this but her goes.
My wife has a S4 mini and I have Note 3. When connected to our home wifi I can connect to all the same app she does, however lately when she tries to enter hayday (her flavour of the month game ) It would load up to just before entering the game and then be stuck on that screen saying loading ....
Most other apps work perfectly so the wifi on the phone works(there seems to be a whatsapp issue that I saw yesterday, monitoring to see if it persists)
I on the other hand don't have any troubles when loading.
When she changes from wifi to mobile data however it loads instantly. Now I don't know if the issue is with the wifi network or just something phone/wifi combo.
I was just wondering If anybody else have seen something similar and maybe have some advice on how to remedy the issue?
Since a reboot, when the ouya boots it is very slow and there is no network connecrivity. Check the ethernet and its fine. Wifi doesn't pick up any access point. The whole interface comes down to a crawl. I unplugged it for a few days and it came back. But the next reboot brought back the issue. Anyone else experience this? If so, is there a fix i can try?
I am having a problem with the wifi in my house and my Verizon Note 4. Some apps load very slow such as YouTube, Inbox/Gmail, Instagram, and Google play music for example won't play music at all. I also sometimes don't get hangouts notifications on time. Fairly often I have to open the actual conversation thread for the messages to show up. The weird thing is other apps seem to work flawlessly; Falcon Pro, Reddit Now, Pandora and Google Plus all work with no issues at all.
It gets even more frustrating....
My nexus 7 (2013) and my girlfriends HTC One (M8) work fine connected to the same wifi network.
The issues on my Note 4 all go away when connected to the wifi at my girlfriends house or when on 4G at home.
This leads me to believe the Note 4 just doesn't like my wifi here at home. I feel like I have tried EVERYTHING... Forgotten the wifi connection, made sure all the advanced wifi settings are correct, reset my router, I have even factory reset my phone but nothing has changed.
If anyone has any ideas please help. It will be greatly appreciated!!!

I also have some wifi issues. I can maintain connection with the wifi, however, the connection 'degrades' after the a couple of seconds to minutes and after the phone goes to sleep. I tried the following:
1. Airplane mode on and off
2. forgetting wifi and resigning in
3. rebooting
4. factory reset
5. router firmware update (Verizon fios Actiontec m1424wr).
No success... I've connected to other wifi sources (at verizon store, public restaurants, and mobile hotspots) and it would maintain a reliable connection like usual.
I'm getting a replacement Note 4 from Verizon. If that doesn't fix it I don't know what will...

This probably won't solve your WiFi problem, but maybe while you are at home you can use the "download booster" function? If you have unlimited data, of course, because it will use your 4G if I'm not mistaken(?) s:
After trying numerous things I finally received my replacement Note 4. Turned it on and connected... no wifi issues at all. This meant that it was not an issue with my router and instead isolated to the actual phone itself.
Very happy that this worked, though unfortunately it isnt the quickest fix. I suggest turning it in for a replacement if all else fails
Please help.
Suddenly I have weird WiFi problem where, for instance, it won't even connect to my home WiFi. Sometimes it is saying 'Saved' sometimes 'Obtaining IP address' and sometimes 'Connecting'. When I finally get connection, sometimes it just disconnects for no reason (well, there have to be a reason), and again wouldn't connect. For instance, while I am writing this it is Obtaining IP address the whole time.
I couldn't find the pattern in these problems, but someone might be able to help.
Tried resetting modem, phone, clear cashe...
I didn't notice that my MacBook have any issues, nor my LG TV. It works fine there. I'm on 7.1.2.
Hope someone can help.
Cheers.

Have no idea if it is related, but found somewhere online that I might have bad app. Went back and checked what apps I have installed recently, and those were two apps for my new UHD LG TV. Uninstalled them, and problem went away.
Might help someone.

The 5X's wifi sucks. I travel with my Note 4 also since that always connects to available networks, like at hotels or at airports. The 5X will often just do what yours did. I have access to Time Warner hotspots since I have their internet service. But it almost never connects and when it does it usually takes many attempts. My Note 4 would connect so easily that it would connect when I was stopped at red lights or even stop signs. The 5X takes lots of messing around. Adding and forgetting the network. Turning wifi off and back on, etc.
I have the Time Warner app to assist in connecting and that helps. I thought that app interfered with the wifi, so I remove it when travelling, but found it makes no difference.
I did find that Skype Wifi, which allows someone to connect to hotspots around the world and pay using Skype credit, did interfere with the wifi like your apps did. So some hotpots would work without it installed, but wouldn't with it installed. I took it off, but of course I can have in on my Note 4 and have no problems with any wifi hotpots.
I would agree that the 5X wifi sucks. I have issues on my home wifi as well & know it's not the network. My older Nexus 5 connects & stays connected fine. and the 5X will be setting right next to it & be 'obtaining IP" or say "No Internet" -- anyone have any other suggestions would be greatly appreciated. Enjoying the phone - but not this issue.
I've been having wifi problems since I got mine months ago, my internet connects for 0.5 of a second then disconnects even if I stand beside my router

I had forgotten about an issue with my router, but it affected the router. The 5Gz signal would just disappear after about a day, which would require rebooting the router to restore. I went on vacation and the router made it 3 weeks without needing to be rebooted. So obviously it was the 5X causing the issue. The router manufacturer was going to RMA it, but one of their engineers sent me a beta version of the firmware that ended up fixing the issue, but I can not use any official firmware release. My 5X now, if I put it on the 5Gz signal, will just stay for a while, then I'll look at the phone and it'll have switched to the 2.4Gz signal. So I just let it stay on that. At least the router signal doesn't completely disappear anymore, but the core issue with the 5X is still there.
One of the steps in trying to fix wifi problems used to be setting it to 2.4Gz networks only. 7.0 or some version of the OS took away that option. Someone in the Google forums requested it be put back in, but it doesn't look that that will happen.
It's the phones connectivity it's messed up, and u are able to get it replaced if u got warrienty
I did a factory reset and it does not resolve the issue as I have been having issues for the past month or two. i think its one of the updates that borked it up; but until i roll back idk
If anyone can make your 2.4 band a G type or mixed mode router and leave your ac band alone. I noticed that leaving the connection to G type keeps the connection solid for me and drops go away. I know this is not a solution but until this can be resolved. This didnt happen before and for the like of me it is IMPOSSIBLE to flash older firmware and system images on the POS device. It get stuck on the Google logo.
There was a post awhile ago in a different phone thread for HTC ( yes, i know its not the same ) but there apparently appears to be WiFi 'drivers' or 'radios' if you will and the solution was easy there, but here I think someone with some experience might have to point those out to us. ( its on this page https://forum.xda-developers.com/ve...tock-m-firmware-nand-recovery-t3330972/page32 )
I am wondering if using a set of WiFi drivers from 7.1.1 would resolve this issue or not, but I am unsure where to go to find them; anyone?
POCO F3
Suddenly, The mobile data connection started to fail.
It suddenly disconnects, and I have to turn airplane mode on and off to get it to connect again, but it doesn't take long, it varies, and the connection is lost again.
And when it's connected, it's very slow, but a lot, it went from a 15mbps connection (before the problem), to a .3mbps connection. I have installed several ROM'S, and nothing fixes it. Another thing I've noticed is that suddenly he also started using Roaming when he didn't have it before.
Update: Testing with another mobile, with the same SIMCARD, i can connect to my red 4G, but in this POCO F3, when i tried connect to 4g cant, I get a notification that the selected network cannot be connected, The only one that accepts me is the one with 4G R (I think it's roaming).
UPDATE: Also I think that is a problem of crash of the Band 28 LTE
My modem often crashes too, since I bought the phone last year. Standard ROM, no unlock/root, updates when FW goes out.
I mostly see modem crash when the phone switch from wifi to LTE to wifi to LTE etc when I go outside. At one point I notice I have no data connection, sometimes it displays the "no SIM card" icon, the modem program loops and crash and the phone becomes warm because of this and lose its battery real fast.
Only cure is to reboot the phone.
Hi, my phone just started having a very similar issue after working fine for almost two years. I am on T-mobile in US, where are you? Did you find out any more info on this?

The truth is that I never found out, what I did find out is that my IMEI of my cell phone had a report of theft (I bought it second-hand) and only 2 networks (from my country) grabbed me: "telcel and altán", of which altán only got roaming and only telcel got the original 4g, on the other hand "at&t and movistar", nothing, only the company detected me, but they didn't get a signal... No way, I gave up, I switched to the only one that if he caught me it was Telcel (even if he didn't want to).

A lot of people complain about modem crash since the beginning, Xiaomi never fixed it. It seems the problem is happening when switching cell towers/wifi. At one point you notice you have no data or the "no sim" icon, you have to reboot.
I was experiencing that a lot when I was on a MVNO for the major networks (Mint Mobile, Google Fi, etc.). Upon switching to AT&T Prepaid, I am experiencing far, far fewer disconnects. Some particular locations will give me the exclamation point, but by and large it's much better.
It seems everyone is torn in half, between this glitch being software related, or hardware related.
I have tried everything to blocking out certain bands with network guru, to taking my phone apart and looking for some kind of issue. Been through countless roms, and firmwares, and kernels. I've gotten a new Sim card too. Have tried Compressed air. with nothing seeming to solve this issue permidently.

For what it's worth, I'm also using a custom ROM (Arrow OS 13). I recall a while back there being kernels people developed that attempted to address the phone restarting issue.

Phone does not restart. It's just that at one point, you notice your data are not working, you cannot enable them, nor make phone calls, you may have the "no sim" account, your phone may go warm because the modem is constantly restarting.
In the end, you have to reboot your phone and everything is normal again.
As it about always happens while outside, I cannot connect a usb cable to dump logcat or others.

Try to put some pressure on the phone screen, not too much, push down slightly or press it together in your hands while holding volume up volume down and power button. Let me know if this helps

Were you listening to something on Bluetooth via mobile data?
were you driving?
What was the ambient temperature in the room or outside when this occured?
Just trying to narrow down hardware or software.
My poco f3 likes to reboot with the no Sim error, when I'm driving around on mobile data, listening to Spotify via Bluetooth.
I'm curious what circumstances other users have encountered this error in, or what they were doing at the time when it occurred
As it happens about only when I'm outside, I can be driving (phone connected in BT) or walking.
But my phone never reboots, never.
