[Q] Stuck in bootloop - T-Mobile Samsung Galaxy Note II

Ok guys I'm having a small problem I hope i can get some help with. I just sold my note 2 to a budy at work. It had the jedi x cutom rom on it. After I sold it to him the guy did a factory reset and now the phone is stuck in a boot loop. I tried putting it into DL mode and forcing a new rom on through odin, but when I plug the phone in my pc wont recognize the phone. I tried reinstalling the drivers, but that didn't work. I'm kinda stuck the phone won't go into recovery and isn't recognized by my pc is there anything else i can do at this point or is it a paper weight now?

What happens when you try to boot to recovery and what operating system are you trying to connect the phone too? Windows XP has been more reliable for me.

Windows 7 ultimate, and when I try to boot to recovery it does the same exact thing as just hitting the power button. It goes straight into bootloop. I can get into DL mode just fine, but obviously that does no good if i can't get the pc to recognize the phone.

[Q] Bricked GS3 - Cyanogenmod Kitkat

So, I think my phone just bricked itself or something.
Last night, I installed nova launcher and started tweaking the phone like a mad man.
Any ways, today when I woke up, my phone was off out no where. It had a little trouble booting up I noticed, but eventually it managed. Used the the phone for a few minutes, then it just turned off on me.
Now, whenever I try to turn the phone on, it won't get passed this screen. It just makes it to this screen, and just turns off again.
I also can't boot into recovery mode or anything.
Any thoughts or suggestions?
Was running Kitkat cyanogenmod just fine for the most part this last month or so.

If the phone displays that screen, it's likely not bricked. If you power off the phone or pull the battery, then boot into recovery (holding power, volume-up, and home at the same time), you can do a factory reset and that should be all it takes to get the phone booting again. You could wipe and reflash your ROM from there too if that doesn't work.
Like I said in the OP, I can't get the phone to boot into recovery mode. It doesn't get passed that screen.

Yep,missed that part. My fault. Can you get into download mode instead? When you plug your phone in, does your computer recognize it? You may be able to use Odin to go back to a stock ROM instead of going to recovery, to start from scratch.
Oh, I should also mention that I have a Mac. Is there anything like Odin or Flashboot for a Mac?

I don't think Odin is compatible (don't have a Mac myself, so not sure), but I've heard of people using Heimdall as an alternative to Odin for Mac. Latest version of Heimdall should be available through their website from this post: http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=755265

I just ran recovery again and now I can run about 10 seconds on first start up without lag then after that it craps out again and goes into unbelievable non forgiving lag mode
I'm pretty sure I have the same problem. My phone just sits here doing the very little vibrate it does when it starts. over an over again. I can't access recovery, or download mode, and when I just plug it into the wall, the charge thing shows up for a couple seconds, and then its back to the vibrating and restarts. I'm not even seeing the Samsung screen show up at all. THIS IS RIDICULOUS.

i had that problem due to a virus, rogue program, what i did, format usb storage(make sure you save all your music & pictures to ext sd or computer) then reflashed rom making sure to wipe data and such. hope that helps
What Odin version? I found 3.04 best for 4.1.2. No luck at all using Odin 3.07.

[Q] Phone stuck after failing during CM install

Other than being rooted my N7105 was stock before I decided to install CM via the Windows Installer. It failed once so I restarted the device and computer on the programs suggestion. Second time it seemed to be installing fine getting past the installing recovery step before I left the room. On my return it had failed again and suggested I try a different USB port or computer and the install would pick up right where it left off.
Except it hasn't.
The Installer isn't even detecting my device anymore. I'm stuck with a little blue fellow on my screen. Rebooting just brings me back to the same screen and when I remove the battery the phone reboots as soon as I replace it. I can boot into download mode but trying to boot into recovery just brings me back to the blue dude.
I'm not really sure what to do. I've tried using a Toolkit but get stuck at the "Waiting for USB debugging to be turned on" part. I've looked at Heimdall but aren't really sure where to start or if it could even help.
Any suggestions?

Note 2 boot load loop fix - cause System Memory full

Hi everyone. This is the first time ive posted anything on here. I will try to fully describe my problem that i really need help to fix.
My wife got my old Note 2 is rooted and she got my
Dad's old unrooted Note 2. After deciding that she didnt want a rooted phone she decided to use my father's unrooted phone. Due to apps updating and the internal memory getting full she ingored the warning message not really realising the outcome. The phone eventually shut itself down and is stuck on the Samsung logo (boot loop). So i gave her my old rooted phone back because she said that it just died. The same happened to the rooted phone too.
I asked before what she did and i was told nothing it just died. So i had nothing to go on. It wasn't until a week later when I tried to sort the problem out she said the System Memory was getting full and a message came up warning of this. So now I believe the problem is that the on board memory has got full and the phone seized. Much like what happens to a PC when the main hard drive gets full!
When i attempt to boot the phone up the Samsung logo show and stays on, never booting up. This happens with both phones. When i hold the Home key, Power button and Up volume switch. The phone loads the first Part of the boot up and at the moment it goes to the system screen it goes blank for a split second and back to the start of the boot. No matter how many times i try it fails. So I can't Factory reset or erase anything because i can get to it that screen.
So I try something else. I press the Home button, Power button and the Down on the volume to access the Download mode. This works fine. So i used Odin to try to put Rom onto the phone hoping this will solve the problem. Both phones connects to Odin alright and I can set up ready to load a rom onto it, however when i press start on Odmin to do its job everthing starts ok but then it goes red with a Failed error message. This happens when i try this on both phones, I seem to be stuck no knowing what to do. I have tried using all the ports on my laptop (window 7) and that makes no difference. The same happens on both devices.
I think i need to clear the memory somehow but have no idea how to do it when i can only access Download mode. I would be very grateful for any help on this but if all else fail I will try to build up static on a ballon and see if putting the near will wipe the memory, lol. Only joking. Im desperate to sort this out.
Any ideas?
try to flash twrp with Odin and download mode. Then enter recovery, connect it to PC and make some space.
But I really doubt it, apps won't install even when you have 500Mb free, so I think it might be hardware problem

Stuck in bootloop after uninstall magisk... Samsung s20

So i tried to unroot my phone via magisk...and it just ****ed me it seems.
It bootloops with first the "this phones bootloader is unlocked..." and then samsung logo with the warning triangle about it not running official samsung software etc.
I cant boot into download mode by going into recovery (it gets stuck on starting fastboot ( the red text )). And i cant hold up and down volume + usb cable to go straight into download either.
after none of these things worked i tried clear cache and wipe data/factory reset with no luck.
i also tried reinstalling magisk from the zip on SD card but got some error and nothing changed.
Am i dooomed? Any tips will be sooo insanely appreciated!

ok... i tried another usb cable and it worked getting into download mode. Now i just gotta find the easiest way to get the phone back to stock.
I have the same problem here with my Ultra S20. How did you fix it?? Mine's been stuck all day.. I can get to the recovery menu but not to the download mode.
This happened to me too. I just reflashed the stock firmware and rooted it again etc. It was the only way i could get it back working again.
Install TWRP........
Would have saved your ass.
Also, forndownload mode AND to enter TWRP, use a decent usb cable connected to a computer or laptop.
