sice many devs are porting WP8.1 to Android version, I'd like to ask if anyone made some progress with porting to Dual Sim version? I'd love to buy a Dual Sim but I'll totaly enjoy having a WP instead of Android.

Doesn't it only work on vzw variant if it works on gsm version and I could dual boot it with android I would do it

l doubt it for the moment, HD2 is based on WM.

Not right now. The current spec for WP7 is the 1st Gen Snapdragon SOC. However, the upcoming spec that is to be released is 2nd Gen Snapdragon; in other words, exactly the DHD spec.
With more people being interested in WP7 (me included, not to use as a primary OS, but just to play), it is possible we will see it, as it is a direct port with a few mods HTC will probably release a new phone as a result of the updated spec, but as nothing has been announced, we don't really know yet.
it would be great with some dual boot method... mainly for games
You'll probably be able to dual boot by using two Recovery installs; using the boot.img of the older version as the second OS to boot into
look at the DHD android dev section for dual booting. a guide will be released tomorrow (probably)
and yes, there is the possibility to flash a boot.img as recovery. thats how the native ubuntu dual boot works.
and if we flash one as radio and one as bootloader we're able to quad boot (don't try this...)

There seems to be a lot of confusion going on between the gsm and cdma versions of the Wildfire S, and people are causing big problems for themselves by not reading(or cant read), plus its also a headache for other users trying to pick thru useless information to get what they need. Maybe a little to late, but is there anyway to split this forum up?
Good idea, was thinking of the same thing to do.
The forum can be split, I've done it on PHPBB3, I don't know whether it works on VBulletin (Isn't that what this forum uses? Correct me if i'm wrong.)

I agree, this should be done. I too bricked my first wildfire s after trying to use the "stock roms" listed in the stickied thread at the top of this forum. Stuff in that post is kinda mixed, or mislabeled, or even unlabeled. I don't recall seeing anything about GSM only roms on the few I looked at, but there is a chance I did over look it.

I'm one of those folks but at least I already own an Android tablet so rooting, etc. wasn't a new concept. But since I already lost 5 bucks (not very much I know) purchasing a case for the "other" Wildfire S instead of the Virgin Mobile one I think it's a great idea.
Related question: I searched but perhaps didn't use the correct magic combination of search terms. Is there a thread somewhere that explains the differences between the different versions of the phone? Things like size, location of ports that sort of thing so my case problem will never happen again?

The virgin mobile one is called A510c which is a CDMA phone. As you know, CDMA phones don't have a sim card slot. I'm not quite sure about the A510a version. A510b has a slower processor as compared to the A510e which has a 600MHz processor.

I would concur. Much like Hero and Hero CDMA or other variants. I tried to port the Euro version over to the CDMA side last night. No working touchscreen; which, sucks when it boots up to a lockscreen Anyway, the devices are quite different.

The most efficient one is to have patience and wait as long as needed, sorry to say.
The only thing I don't know is the single SIM m8 same like m8DS in software version and will DS get update in same time when single SIM gets it

Yeah I know but, the AT&T variant can too and they seem way bigger
Most devs , BadSeed included are just waiting for official updates to drop and then it will pick up . Also most devs are making roms universal so they can be adjusted in aroma , and posting in international threads . But rest assured devs are here .. .
^^ Yeah I've been getting all my roms and mods from the regular HTC M8 forums from the start. There's plenty of activity...I think there's just not a lot specific to TMo because there doesn't need to be since we can use all the other stuff anyways.
I love my m8 but it's now my backup device, so many newer phones it kinda screwed m8.
So this is situation, i look around on other forums and i find developer on htc816 forum, his name is @LiquidPlacidity and he is willing to work on developing lollipop and cm port and also fixing bugs but to do that he need a phone d5322.. So is there some of you People who is intersting in donate phone or some money to push development of our phone? This is my entire PMs with him:
