How are you even turning it on to get to a boot loop if the button is broken?
there is no way I can think of in your case. Sorry.

I plug the USB cable and pull the battery out, put it back in and unplug the USB...
So i need to replace my power button so i can boot to recovery/download mode?

If it's stuck in a boot loop, yes. I can't think of any other way I'm afraid.

If you want download mode, you could try a USB jig.

I thought about that, but didn't suggest because he will almost certainly still have boot problems until he can boot recovery and factory reset.
Worth a try if a jig is handy, but if you have to order or make one it'll probably just add more time to getting it fixed.

worked pretty easy, thank you
Edit: I flashed the StockROM back to my S3 and for any reason it is in Stock recovery mode. How do i get out of there w/o my power button? My computer don't recognize my phone so ADB won't work :3 (

Battery pull I guess is probably the only way. If you're running completely stock, you'll probably need to flash an insecure kernel for ADB to work in recovery.
This may be of use to you though....If you use the KT747 4.4.2 kernel, when you plug it in it will turn on the device if it's already off. You have to be on a stock based 4.4.2 rom to use it though.
I know it doesn't address your current issue, but thought I'd mention it in case something like that was useful for now.

But how i can flash a Kernel if im stuck, in Stock Recovery i cant access the menus with the home button or touch, just with the power button.. and the phone isn't on device manager and Odin don't recognize it too..
If i pull the battery and wait(did it like 2h) and install it back, it reboots in recovery though

You can't flash anything from stock recovery. You'd need to install TWRP. Are you rooted?
How did you flash the stock rom?
You really need to get odin working though. Uninstall kies. Try different USB drivers, different cables, ports....

If you're able to boot into cwm, then you're fine.
I'm assuming you were flashing a ROM, so just wipe everything x3, and reflash the ROM or a different one.

Now that doesn't make sense. You can safely get into CWM, but not into download mode?
I have to ask to make sure. With the phone off, you're holding the 1 key on the keyboard and then holding the power button?
Well if that's the case, get to a PC and insert your SD card into a reader. Download a kernel, like Genocide v2 or etc to the card, and boot into CWM to flash the new kernel off the card. See if that helps.
yes i hold down 1 and the power button, and i tried the genocide2.0 and it still does the same just the samsung screen has a different logo
Sounds like my hardware locked vibrant try flashing cm7 or miui then see if you can make it back to dl mode

If your phone has life you should be able to get into download mode. Take your battery out, press the power button for 10 seconds. With the battery still out connect with cable to computer and press and hold the 1 key on the keyboard and then add pressing and holding the power button. Download mode will appear. Connect to Odin now.

[Q] galaxy s3 wont boot after new rom installed

I installed a version of Aristodemos (slim) on my phone and nothing happens literally. It does not boot into recovery mode. I'm still searching for the ZIP file that I downloaded. Please help!
Does it power up or can you get it into download mode?
ok. I had aristodemos version 3 on it and put this zip on my phone after the wipe process........slim-i717-2.7.0-official.zip. 87,995,996 bytes. now it doesnt turn on or how you say power up. any thoughts?? if I could get it to turn on I could zip my other rom back on. Thanks for any and all help!!

Have you tried a factory and data reset to factory settings from the recovery? Usually fixes the problem. Always do that before and maybe after a custom rom zip installation.
He said it wont boot into recovery, but he didn't answer whether or not he can get into download mode. Thats his only hope if recovery isn't booting.
I cant get it on turn on period. if I try t boot into recovery, it does nothing. very stange!!
oh yea..... nor does it go ino download mode for some reason. sorry about that. what happened??

This may not be it but are you sure the phone is charged and has enough battery life? I'm wondering what battery % you were at when you started the process?
Maybe try removing the battery for 10 seconds and trying to boot into recovery again?
phone was fully charged.

[Q] Stuck on boot screen after wiping system (accidentally)

Just to say, I have rooted a lot of devices and this is the first time this has ever happen to me!

What did you use to flash your ROM. Bottom line is you need to try to get into download mode. I believe the key combo is hold down power + volume down + home. If that boots you into download mode just flash back to stock.

Looks like you're most likely hard bricked. That's an HTC One X ROM. Looking at the installer script, it uses mount points that don't match the d2att. It writes the system files to mmcblk0p12, which is the modem on our phone. Also, it writes the kernel to mmcblk0p4, which is also incorrect (I think it's for boot screen images?). Sorry.
Wado unfortunately I've hard bricked two S3's so I know how you feel it's a sinking feeling indeed. I have learned from my foolish mistakes though. I feel for you man.

[Q] Black Screen - Won't Boot

Was using the Galaxy S3 toolkit to update cwm, went to flash an AOSP rom intended for d2att models, went to reboot the device... It flashes the samsung logo briefly then sits at a black screen with a solid amber LED. ODIN does not see it, my PC sees the device but I can't flash anything at all. Can't get to download mode either holding the power and any combination of the volume keys does nothing. Someone please help point me in the right direction to fix this. Thanks in advance.
If or PC sees it u could check and see if ADB sees it and maybe wipe and flash from there
