If you watch any video on the Web browser and will play on lg video player. If that annoys you then just download the YouTube app.

I don't know if this has been asked before but is it possible to watch You Tube videos on Window Mobile 6. Apple just released a statement that the new iPhone will work wth You Tube.
www.m.youtube.com is the mobile youtube site.. also if you install Opera web browser and the latest flash player, you cant watch the videos on the normal youtube site... that's what I do.

In my opinion, the best choice to watch youtube videos in Excalibur is COREPLAYER.

+1 .
Mobile Internet
Since the Excalibur doesn't support 3G, it is likely that YouTube will only reliably work over WiFi, because GPRS is too slow to stream the videos.

Can you try skyfire, it's a good browser with native support for flash, but without wifi is too slow.
For the download search it with google, it's freeware

Skyfire has a side effect... it turns your device into a portable heater! Seriously...

unfortunately it is true, for this reason I use it only when I need flash support.

Afternoon all
Did a search but couldn't find anything dealing with this particular issue (if I've missed something, please point it out.).
When I use the native browser and hit a YouTube link, the browser opens up the HTC flash player/streaming media player. But I want it to open the YouTube app, like my HTC Hero used to.
I've tried clearing the defaults for the flash player, streaming media player, youtube app and internet but no joy.
If I try the same test using the Dolphin browser, I get the option to open youtube links with the youtube app, which is what I want the native browser to do!
Does anyone know how to get the native browser to handle youtube links with the youtube app?
Cheers
Splath
Bump
Bueller? Anyone?
anybody..
It's the same on mine. Can't see any way of changing it. I wonder if this is in anticipation of full flash support in the next Android release?
AFAIK it *should* work - it worked fine on the Hero and it works with the dolphin browser... I'm completely stumped
Bumpity bump

Got my desire yest and loving it. Having a small problem tho when i try and watch a megavideo.com link I get automatically redirected to some crappy jej share. com site. Anyone know a fix to this? Really want to watch tv shows through megavideo.
Thanks
Bump.
Does anyone know a fix to this? Like i said the desire seems to automatically re-direct when i go to megavideo.com to this j.jeshare.com!
Try this in your browser
Menu key > More > Settings > Toggle off "Mobile view"

Thanks alot man that worked, but now i have another problem
When i go direct to megavideo and press play its saying this is not supported - shockwave flash.
However i know that is wrong because when i go to another website which has megavideo links embedded, the phone plays them no problem
Hehe, sounds like you need to manage your own expectations...
The Desire is a very capable internet device. It probably has the best mobile browser I've ever used. But it is still a mobile device and as such, not all websites will work...
Yeah looks that way
I'll just have to use the embedded website to watch my megavideo shows, strange that it says not supported when clearly it is tho
guys, have you tried this application? it lets you download and stream any megavideo video, directly on your device, without using flash player and without the browser!

MX Player is easily the best free player there is. Can you tell me what error you are getting? Do you have enough space left to install it?
im having total lag with MX Player, i don't know why .. i can only use HW (i think) because when it press SW it says "not supported" or alike .. i have 60mb free space and 50% free ram .. so i don't know why this is happening, oh btw im @ TouchWiz Res v9.5 ROM

Due to our phone's hardware limitation, you can't watch HD videos as in 480p or greater without terrible lag. Sometime such HD videos will not even run on our device. This has nothing to do with free memory space or free ram space. Your only option is to convert it to 240p or 320p to watch in our phone. Hope I Helped
