Is it possible to disable language change when i use another country sim card?
Im sure theres a way to do it - its in the hidden menu?

I have just flashed to a WM6 rom on my prophet, but no none of my sim card contacts are showing.. Anyone knows how to enable them to show ? I think there is a registery entry there needs to be changed to let them show..

Launch your registry editor and find/modify following:
[HKEY_CURRENT_USER\Control Panel\Phone]
"ShowSIM"=dword:00000001 ->0 to disable, 1 to enable
another easy way if u do not want to play with reg.
just go to htc sim manager and it will retrieve all ur sim contacts and thn click menu and select all and thn copy to phone. thats it.
I have rooted my G3 and encrypted /data. Passphrase for /data is different from Lock PIN.
Every time after reboot my LG keyboard input language settings get nulled to default country reading from SIM card, which is not what I need. I have a suspicion that this is because com.lge.ime settings are stored on encrypted /data partition which is not accessible before entering the password. After unlock and normal bootup settings in /data/data/com.lge.ime/ get overridden with settings acquired before complete boot time.
Does anybody know how to read settings from /data after the boot? I have an idea about writing startup script that changes Input Languages from command line after unlock, but still can't figure out how lge.com.ime process does that and where it gets information. SImply modifying .xml files in /data/data/com.lge.ime/shared_prefs/ doesn't do anything. Maybe there is a way to keep settings from being overridden after unlock and boot? Probably moving /data/data/com.lge.ime/ to /system could do the trick?

I have LG SPRINT LS980 i have two problems, i wish that someone could give me solution :
1- i was on KK 4.4.2 (ZVD) and after that i tried ( ZVC) and now i'm on ZVG LL but with all these Versions i never had sim card contacts list, i can't even import from sim card, it's just like it's not inserted, i unlocked sim card and i followed a lot of tutiorials about that, it reads sim card, and i can call and everything, but still can't see the contacts list
2- there is no APN settings on the phone, i can't change Access point name settings, i can't even See them, i need to see and modify the settings without using a 3rd party app
plz any solution ?
So I am trying to figure out how to swap my physical sim for an esim but I don't see menu call sim manager. How do I enable? Do I have to flash a different rom?

Also esim is not supported on all Samsung device make sure that your device supports this functionality.
Hi, i am using A32 and i bought my phone in switzerland so the service provider version is AUT/AUT,AUT/EUY/AUT.
If i insert a SIM card from a different country, for example germany, and wipe the phone, does it automatically change to DBT/DBT,DBT/EUX/AUT? If yes, how do you prevent it?
I also heard that it won't trigger CSC changes by inserting foreign SIM on newer devices, is that true?
