Im new to this forum, well at least to posting. Been flashing roms to my At&T tilt for over 2 years now.
Anyways im sharing this because its cool and also out of selfishness=)
I got my Tilt 2 completly free with free shipping from http://www.letstalk.com it was linked through HTC's website. You can order online or through phone, but you have to be one of these
1. a New AT&T customer and sign up for a plan +smartphone data plan OR
2. a existing customer up for contract renewel and add smartphone data plan to your existing plan which is $30/month.
and
3. Must keep plan +data plan for at least 6 months otherwise they send you a "recovery" bill of $250. (since you must keep a plan for at least 6months for them to get a commission fee)
So yes my tilt came in the mail today, and heres the selfish part.
If you email me your e-mail address to [email protected], I can have letstalk.com send you an email for "refer a friend" program(just include your e-mail address). I get $25 for accessories and you get$25 off a phone purchase or accessories.
The rep told me they have new deals that last a week, starting every tuesday. As the looks of it, it seems as the deal is still good online.
Either way, you can get the free tilt with or without a referal, but if you want the $25 send me an email=)

It's listed as $99. How did you get the free offer?
Its listed as $99, add it to your basket, itll say equipment cost $99.
Click next, itll ask you to select a voice plan, select one.
Now your basket will say Equipment cost $0
Monthly cost $=voiceplan cost +$30 data plan cost
So its free that way. Hmm i didnt get a sd card with mine, doesnt matter 4gb is too little, I use 16gb=)
Remember if you want $25 toward accessories send me your e-mail and I can have letstalk.com send you a $25 credit if you sign up!

Nice find...
I was supposed to get a bill of $140 every month but it fluctuates around $160-190, is it possible to get a 10-15 dollar discount every month by saying something??
If anyone has an idea, please share it.
Thanks
Corporate/university discount. 'nough said.
I asked for student discount when I got my epic and the guy went "No student discounts, but do you work at CVS?" We both knew I didn't but I said yes and I got a discount of like 20% off my bill a month for 2 years.
This link is outdated, but there is a lot of useful info if you read through.

SERO is useless. Just give the 800 number a company name like CVS or Accenture (25% off).
Ok, so if I say I work at CVS, won't they ask me to verifiy that? How can I do this?
Thanks
So If I just give them a CVS Number, they will give me a discount?

All you have to do is call them up, tell them you work for CVS, and that you were told there's a discount. They won't ask for an email or phone number. They do not verify.
Just be wary, currently we are going through accounts to verify place of employment for the NVP discounts.
They will more than likely ask you to go into a store for situations just like the ones these guys are telling you go do. Apparently they are going to start auditing all accounts with discounts to make sure they aren't fraudulent.

If you're off contract, call up retentions and threaten to cancel. They'll more than likely offer you some kind of discount. I did this back when I had to switch from SERO to a different plan in order to upgrade my phone and they offered me a $20 credit for 2 years. I don't think they offer the $20 credit anymore, but they might offer you something.

I did something similar. Patience is the key. I was asked for address and phone number of my workplace(I used I.B.M, was actually working on a research center) back in 2007....still getting 23% off. Plug away at retentions, no telling what you might get.
I wouldn't suggest lying....Seriously? lol
Just call the 1800 number and tell them you're a student, they should give you a discount. Try a few reps before you give up, some are willing to help while others...aren't so much.
I am assuming your on Sprint...
$69.99 unlimited plan is great. Then if you bank with chase they have a 27% discount. My monthly bill is roughly $62.
Wasn't AT&T offering a separate $100 rebate to NEW subscribers before Nokia started offering their own $100 credit towards the Lumia 900? I'm gonna go ask today but I was wondering since I'm a new customer would I still qualify for that first rebate?

I some regions there were different rebate offers. I saw the phone listed as 199 with a 100 rebate. Others saw the same thing as only 99 with no rebate.
So, it all depends on where you actually were when you saw it....

The way I understand it is that a rebate has no bearing on the credit. Whatever price you paid for your phone after rebates, etc is the price. The $100 credit is for the data connectivity issue alone.
Example, you paid $99.00 on Amazon after rebate, you still get $100 credit on your ATT bill. Don't confuse the two.
Hope it helps.

Yea this is exactly what the rep told me. The rebate from AT&T makes the phone 99$ and then the Nokia credit makes it free...although they don't tell you it's an immediate discount, it actually applies to your first bill. You still have to pay for the phone that day.
I paid 20 for it on amazon. I confirmed that I will get 100 dollar credit. So ATT is paying me 80 dollars with this phone....awesomeness

That's awesome. I got the phone for $50 from a New England corporate store, so wondering if I will be getting the full $100... sounds good so far..
But on the other hand.. I think I am returning the phone to go back to Android... I wonder if they will remove the credit?
I bought 3 of them at my local AT&T store and was offered a $100 bill credit as well as $100 in free accessories for each phone.
I got my phone on the 21st without knowing about the $100 credit. I got the phone from best buy mobile and I got a $50
Instant rebate so after the credit I'll be up!!!! Awesomeness

FYI, $100 credit now showed up on my AT&T account. I bought the phone 4/9.
Same. I preordered and bought my wifes on launch day and both were credited a day ago.
Can you please tell me where do you see this credit? My first month's balance was due 4 days ago (haven't paid it yet since I have a few days before my 30 days expire and I get to decide whether to keep or return the phone). That balance definitely doesn't show any kind of adjustment because of the credit.
Check your online account from att or call 611 to check your latest account balance.

If you have a Lumia 900 you should have the myAT&T app. Login with that and it will show you your balance in the opening screen. Mine is $ (100.00). In other words negative one hundred dollars. I bought my phone about ten days ago.
My credits (3 of them) showed up on my account already. Bought the phones about a week and a half ago.
Got mine too, but again, I wonder what will happen when I return the phone next week?
Oh and just an FYI, both phones got a text a few hours apart stating the credit was forthcoming but could take up to 60 days so I dunno if you will get it until you get the text?!
I never received a text message regarding the credit, but it is already on my account.
I have had my phone for 3 weeks and have no credit showing on my account, should I be concerned?

remember Wirefly adds a second agreement... if you ok with that, $150 sounds great! Myself, I went with Costco online $175 after $25 mail-rebate, no extra agreements and90 day return policy.

So when we purchase the phone at Bestbuy they give us a $50 gift card on top of the phone freedom gift card? I can't find anything on Bestbuy's website that says that. Already signed up for the phone freedom promotion. Would love 50 more dollars.
Think I'm going to jump on this deal.
I was trying to hold out for a 32gb phone over the 16 but I just got a 64 gb SD card as well. Considering at this point it would cost another $100 to get the extra 16 gb, it just doesn't make much sense to wait, IMO.
Also, I can find nothing strange about the Wirefly agreement other than you have 14 days to return it to them if you don't like it as opposed to taking it back to a Sprint store.
What says yous?

I don't see it on the website either, but it is the same promotion they've been offering on the Evo LTE. This is what they offered me in-store. Not sure about online sales.
When ahead and got this deal. I should get $50 cash back from my bank as well.
That puts me at $100 for the device. It's a blue 16GB version. But for $150 less than a white 32GB version, I can live with it.
Even at $50 difference between the 16 and 32 it's just not worth it when you consider I just got a brand new SanDisk 64GB card for $50.
Their web site says they are shipping tomorrow, but I highly doubt that.
safe?
is wireflyfriends.com safe? I know of wirefly.com/autocontent.aspx?pageid=3586&referringdomain=wiredneirf, but the first one seems fishy. When you go to the checkout page, the site isn't secured, while the second one is. Sorry if I seem a bit paranoid.
I'm more concerned about this 'second agreement'.
can someone shed some light on that? Does it tack another agreement after this one or something?

I think you are talking about the fact that the phone needs to be connected on the same line for at least 6 months:
"By accepting the ISD, you agree to keep your account in good standing and keep your wireless plan and features as activated for at least 180 days.
You agree to repay $200 of this discount ($400 for smartphones, tablets, and netbooks) and authorize us to charge your credit card in repayment of this amount if, you signed up for a 2 year agreement and during the 181 days after your new equipment is activated, your carrier notifies us that the services you purchased have been suspended, disconnected, or deactivated, or if you return your purchase outside of the return and exchange provisions of our 14-day Satisfaction Guarantee.
Please note some of the reasons your carrier may notify us of a deactivation include if:
You transfer this equipment to another line of service after it is activated
You change your rate plan to a lower monthly service rate than was specifically required at the point of purchase
You deactivate texting/data features that were specifically required at the point of purchase
The new line of service activated with your order is used to replace a pre-existing account"
if only i had an upgrade :/

I saw it at radio Shack for $99 after I paid $199 at at&t, called them up and told them about it. They informed me that they don't offer price matching.
I informed them I would just return the phone and go buy it from the shack.
They promptly credited my account $100.
So apparently anyone can get it for $99 if they are willing to work with a customer service representative.
Hope this helps people get credited

great. Im about call them and get that $100 back. Will update for details later.
Edit: ok, so i called in and talked to the sale reps. They put me on hold for a few minutes and said since this is a promotion from Radioshack for the $99, they wont honor the deal and what they can do is give me a $25 credit on my account. So i used the comeback line and said I can just go refund the phone and get it cheaper at AT&T. Then he said i will be subject to the restocking fees from the store and disruption of service for a few days. So i accept the $25 credit and will call again to talk to a different reps to see what they can do. Will update again.

yes but i was able to get $25 credit back to my account which is always nice for just calling and ask for it lol.. The CSR couldn't verify it either on the website and they said it must be a store promotion, meaning you have to go to the actual store to see the deal.
Glad you liked my post enough to steal it, please learn to write your own posts or give credit to the original writer no matter how simple it may be
Second, if you want at&t to credit your account like they did mine you have to be speaking with a cs rep manager to begin with
And for gods sake be firm and truthful when you tell them you are going to just return the phone to at&t and go buy it elsewhere.

I took a slightly different approach...
I called up AT&T, explained that I just purchased the phone last week from a corp store for 199 and wanted to be credited back 100 to match what "various retailers" (not specifying which one) offer. The lady I was speaking with balked at first. I explained that if she refused, that was okay, but then I'd have to keep calling back until I got a customer service rep that would actually take care of this.
She asked me to hold on, came back and gave me the credit. I also got the $36 "upgrade" fee credited for my troubles. (I almost felt bad at this point because I never paid or was charged an upgrade fee - it's automatically waived due to my FAN account.)
Sometimes, blunt honesty works best.
So really it's not that radioshack had it for $99, which they don't, it's just that you committed a class A misdemeanor of defrauding a merchant.
*golf clap*
Next, you could always steal one of the fake display phones and try to return it for a full credit.

When I ordered mine they matched the $99 Walmart price. I was told it would be $300 + Tax and I was in no way going to pay that much!
I also received free over night shipping!
Yeah they do price match and free overnight has usually been the standard for most upgrades or online sales. I was just curious to know where, be it radio shack or now walmart, they have the at&t s3 going for $99 at the present moment (not so much the past), which is why it caught my eye.
Is Walmart running that deal right now for at&t? I know they did it for Tmobile in the past.
