So i got my galaxy note 4 today and rooted it and was happily enjoying it until all of a sudden after a reboot all of my soft and hardware keys stopped working. the only keys that work are the home and volume up button. I tried factory resetting my phone and everything and it still wont work, anyone else encounter this?

Probably should not have rooted till an official root for this version as in AT&T, not T-Mobile has been made. There could be some hardware differences since none of the roots in the international version are cross compatible.
There's plenty of others in the forum I know that have used the T-Mo root method without encountering my issue. I doubt that's the issue

ok so searching for my topic results in many threads about the volume issue from the UK version, dunno if that affects me as well, but I picked up my g-nex from verizon yesterday and now i noticed today that the volume rocker is completely inop. i can still change the volume using the settings menu. after turning on the phone the volume down will work maybe 2 or 3 times right after boot but then that's it, Ive tried a battery-pull, and a hard reset with no luck. anybody else with this issue? phone is completey stock too by the way.
Sounds defective. Exchange.

My volume rocker is inoperable as well. While in a call, changing the volume up or down does not change the volume at all! Just noticed today and tested again just now. This sucks because my signal issues aren't as bad as some I've heard but afraid to exchange and get one worse! I have the Verizon version with 4.0.2, bootloader unlocked but not rooted yet.
A battery pull fixed my issue.

I 've tried searching but theres nothing specific to this phone.
I have a N7100 - everything has been working fine with it - all of a sudden the menu and back keys no longer work.
they light up if the phone in locked and when you press the home key - but once unlocked don't do anything.
I haven't dropped it or splashed water on it or anything like that.
The last app I installed was a call recoreded one last night, and I tried uninstalling that but nothing.
I also did a factory reset via recovery - also nothing.
I called Phones 4 U and they said they need to send it off - is there anything else I can try?

My G pro only has a single button working which is the display on/off button. All other buttons including the home button is non functioning. I have soft and hard reset my phone and nothing has helped. I have a Zero Lemon battery attached to the phone. Recently with no intervention from myself, the buttons randomly started to work. But soon after quit by the next time I attached it to a charger. Any ideas?
Picked up an s4 mini a few months back, all has been well with it till now, I'm having aan issue where my menu button is illuminated but the back button isn't, and the menu button acts like its being held down when I press it quickly and thee phone almost freezes. The back button works randomly.
Here is the kicker, if I turn off the key illumination the buttons work fine, then with it on and the buttons act up.
Anyone else have this issue?
The phone is completely stock, ID warranty it but I cant find my original proof of purchase which the outlet said I needed for the warranty work

if your warranty is lost already then you could try to do a factory reset in the recovery and clear cache
if this doesn't work, try to reflash the stock rom and do a factory reset after it and clear cache after it too
If you need help at it, you can ask me.
I tried the reset in recovery, that ccompleted fine, no change, tried to clear the cache and all I get is an error and a reboot of the phone

My home button is not working. My touch screen is working just fine but the home button isn't. This started happening after I took it off the charger. I've read that other people have had this same issue. I've updated my app and my Mi band is updated. I've tried rebooting multiple times and factory resetting but still nothing. Anyone else have this issue and find a way to fix it?
Had the same problem, they took it in warranty, they exchanged it without any question...
