Bug reports:
Explain how to reproduce the bug and attach logcat and dmesg (if you had a random reboot, also attach last_kmsg). If you don't know how to get those, you can use this app. Please, do not report bugs if you use any kind of mods (like xposed) or third party kernel.
Known bugs:
Bluetooth doesn't properly work with some devices. If you're affected, flash THIS ZIP in recovery.
Frequently Asked Questions:
Q) Where are Developer options and Performance settings?
A) Go to Settings > About phone, and press five times on Build number.
Q) How can I set 3G only network mode?
A) Open dialer, dial *#*#4636#*#* , open first option "Phone Information", there you can set your preferred network mode.
Q) Why is cpu min freq raising to 1190MHz?
A) It's "touch boost", cpu min freq increases when you touch the screen to give a better response. When you don't touch the screen for a couple of seconds, cpu min freq goes back to 300MHz.
Q) How do I update Gapps? (Also useful if you have Gapps related problems).
A) Reboot to recovery. Wipe System, Cache and Dalvik Cache. Install ROM + Gapps. Reboot.
KitKat bootloader/modem files
This zip contains the bootloader and modem files from latest stable international release (MIUI7 V7.0.5.0 KitKat). I made it so users don't have to download and install the official zip, which also includes the rom. It's a flashable zip, so just install it from recovery and reboot (no wipes required).

We use that kernel source for the headers, they are needed at build time. But for now we have to use stock kernel (latest version available). Still waiting that Xiaomi releases the kernel source....
Edit: New build up, 20141018 (a.k.a. R7).

My complete apologizes but I didn't found your name before listed on the CM. I did a regrettable thing. Sorry and best wishes.
Now that is 2 developers is a hope that one of you can be able to modify the kernel adding more governor, voltage selector, optimize the screen consumption .... and dreaming
Back to reality why you can't use the XOLO q1100 kernel to modify the redmi?
Hi, I want to ask, is it OTA (CM Updater) supported? Or everytime we'll have to download and flash the whole ROM? And if its not, why don't you @jsevi83 add this project to an automated build server like Jenkins, It'll help users to get latest builds easily and the devs to solve the bugs fast. And what's the Gerrit Instance link (If you have one)? And I wanna know about the bugs in the ROM, is everything is working? SIM2 RIL, Data everything? Android One Devices will soon taste Official CyanogenMod support as stated by the developer. Our hardware is a bit better than A1, can we too look forward to have a Official CM support? Please do reply.
ThankYou
Really great ROM, thanks mates

Kra1o5, i'll ask some users about logs of it, greetings
Thanks for the wonderful ROM.
Dear Developer,
Thanks for bringing such a wonderful ROM for our device. I have been using it for quite sometimes now. And I never looked back after installing CM11. Having said just wanted to inform few bugs which I have been facing.
Proximity: The After a long call, and when you want to hang up the phone, when you pull the phone from your ear, it doesn't not wake. You have press power button to switch on or wake up the screen. What I am saying is that long hours mean something like more that half and hour talk on the phone. It does wake up when the other person hang up his phone.
UI Crashed: This usually happens when you try to change the wallpaper. But I know for sure, it happens only when you try to change the default wallpaper to something of your own choice. You can change it but occasionally or randomly , the ui crashed report pop up will show up and it will go the imersive mode and will start the ui from the lockscreen. If i don't change the wallpaper then it's cool.
Thanks
Hello dev,
thanks for bringing awesome rom for this device.
i'd like to ask about this glitch, because this problem exist since R1 release.
which one carrier name for sim card 1 isn't displayed correctly.
Sometimes to wake up the phone, you have to press the button several times 3-5 times
Sent from my HM 1S using xda premium
In call touches are still present - screen react on swipe down and afterwards you can touch anything from notifications up to buttons in quick settings.
Issue is easy to reproduce - call number, which don't pick up (SIM2), put one finger on proximity and with other swipe down from upper corner. Tap on screen...
Till now, I found 2 workarounds:
1. Call (pick up call), press power button. (this is easy to forget)
2. Use app ProximityScreenOff. It works perfectly, but messes with proximity sensor and sometimes lock screen don't start after pressing power button.

It's known issue. Go to Settings - Display & lights - uncheck Prevent accidental wake-up.
After some time you can check it back and it will work as intended.

i couldnt test much, as i had to return the phone ,its my sisters, so had to reflash to stock, so no log cat :/

PREAMBLE
Here is my CM11 port for the Lenovo A3000-H, 100% unofficial. Contributions are welcome!
To be able to even flash it, you'll need to use my CWM Recovery.
NOTE: I have built and tested this on my Lenovo A3000-H (16 GB version with 3G). Before flashing, please make sure to be on Stock 4.2. Open up a terminal or an ADB shell and type the following:
Code:
getprop ro.product.board
.
Should you get a3000_prc_3gfull, you are good to go. Otherwise, you need to flash the right Stock ROM. The members @kupyxa4444 and @luckasfb have created such a Stock-based ROM, so if you are unable to find one - try to contact one of these two.

Yes, the CM11 kernel is based off my HodorKernel. Apparently the kernel isn't the problem here - you could flash it on any fused Stock ROM and everything would work.
To those who wanted ETAs: At the moment, I'm a bit busy with exams and other devices. Bugfixing is progressing rather slowly, not only due to time constraints but also because I'm working on this alone and it's not easy to work on mtk devices.
keep up the good work.
you can make it buddy.

This zip contains the bootloader and modem files from latest stable international release (MIUI8 V8.0.1.0 KitKat). I made it so users don't have to download and install the official zip, which also includes the rom. It's a flashable zip, so just install it from recovery and reboot (no wipes required).

wow have nice day, and say yes for not sleeping tonight, hahahaha...... sori for OOT thank bro @fefifofum you like fire ...
Running like butter on grease! So far I've seen only CM source issues on it like network bar is grey even when there is network, workaround is to turn airplane mode on and off. Not used to the new font.

Compatibility Fixed?
Can anyone clarify this? Is the compatibility issues with games solved? Last time I installed this rom, FIFA 15UT and many other games just kept crashing without even opening. Someone please let me know if this is happening, thanks.

Changelogs
As we're getting back into the thread game, keeping up with threads and updating them as per changelogs can be too hectic given our schedule. However, very detailed changelogs always go up on our Google+ page, follow us for constant updates!
For Device specific changelogs, check the second post.
Instructions & requirements
We highly recommend you to follow these instructions very carefully. Users usually tend to skip a few steps and eventually fall in trouble. Are you with me? Good. Let's get this train going.
Just a few things to keep in mind first -
If you're coming from another ROM / Stock, your system data (not internal storage) and cache will have to be wiped. This includes apps, accounts, messages, call logs etc.
There's been some users complaining about different GAPPS variants messing up installs and causing a ton of issues. Upon investigating it seems OpenGapps Mini/Nano work best.
Understand that Paranoid Android is a custom ROM and it might lead to addiction as it's relatively good. We shouldn't be accused of anything just incase your cat starts drinking wine. Things get a little woozy in the Paranoid World.
Some brain might be involved if things go wrong. Not a lot though, as much to solve what's 1+1.
Okay let's get to the main bit -
Once you have all the required files - boot into recovery and wipe the bananas out of your device. Get into the wipe menu and wipe data, system, cache and dalvik cache (basically everything except Internal Storage).
Once wiped, get into the "Install from zip" menu and select the ROM zip. (pa_gemini_6.x...). Once added to the install queue, TWRP will ask you if you want to add more zips into the queue - Click on "add more zips" and select the firmware package.
Swipe the bar on the bottom to flash/install zips. Once both zips are done installing - Reboot into system and set-up your device, after you've let it settle with screen off for about 10 Minutes, do not do anything else! Please let your device settle with screen off for about 10 Minutes after the first boot, otherwise the system wont boot after a reboot!
Once you're done setting up your device - well that's when you're done. One thing though - Make sure you DO NOT INSTALL any other zip in the same queue as the ROM! Meaning, do not flash anything like Gapps, a kernel or a root package while installing the ROM. We recommend you do that AFTER you're done setting up your device.

Are the branches of the kernel both updated, i would like to try and build aicp, based out of these sources. Also can i flash this version on the updated preloader, or do i need to go back to the old one?
Yay, that's good news. However, did you just copied the description of the old entry for LOS 13 or is it really based on Android 6? I'd make more sense to preload the phone with Android 7 stock rom for Android 7.1 based system.
Good job, appreciate your continuous work and look forward to a stable build also.

so please if you are using Android 7 ... downgrade to the stock ROM first ( i used : Elephone P9000_Android 6.0_20160810 OTA)
and do not forget .. first boot wil take more then 5min .. so please be patient

Hahaha ok no problemo !
-when i use open gapps "stock" version i have a lot of errors and slow system , so i cleaned the phone completely , reinstalled the phone with your beta and used the open gapps NANO package ... so far so good
-i know the camera is not working correctly but can you please fix this asap !!!
-speed is great
-wifi is faster then Android 6
-the default left button is not working well , i had to reset this to an other app. I set it now to "phone", so when i press the left extra button on the device it goes strait to the phone app. Thats working SUPER!
-sometimes the phone "hangs" doing nothing... reboot is needed.
-power button doesn't work .
-when installing i get 2 errors :
patching system image unconditionally...
E:unknown command [log]
E:unknown command [log]
-sound is great ! even louder than stock android 6
-after first boot i doesn't see my simm , just reboot it and its there and working.

Hm ok, no need to insult, why? just why?... and why do you even ask for someone to port a rom, to a device they *dont even have*? its just spamming with things that will never be done... if you want the rom so much you should talk to the developers of your device to try and port the rom from this device to your device or simply try and port it yourself... Another tip, is that you try to improve your education, and be nicer to people. Insulting wont get you anywhere....

Hi deepflex
i tried everything but the power button doesn't work. I reinstalled several time android 6 and played with variuos openGapps packages.
i ended up with your Beta version and openGapps nano.
I CAN NOT make the power button work to instaled lock the phone....so when the phone is unlocked i can not make it lock.
I installed the Lock app from the playstore to lock my phone.
conclusion : unlock with the power button works but locking the phone with the power button DOES NOT work.
Also a reset to factory default from the OS does not work ! it will end up with a device thats only booting in to recovery mode.

We spend an astonishing amount of time developing this software. We can't spend much time on XDA as a result, so if you need support, please try the following:
1) Search. Search, search, search. Yes, you. I don't care how unique or important your question is, it's very likely someone has adressed it already. Especially if you're even close to new at this.
2) Read our FAQ, which can be found on our website. Carbon FAQ
3) Ask a question in your device forum. Someone will no doubt try to help you. Warning: this help may come in the form of telling you it's a dumb question that has been asked before. Initial Release
BUGS:
* Connecting to data for C6902 devices is buggy (read FAQ).
* NFC may or may not be broken (I cannot test it as my device does not have the NFC plate).
FAQs (Please read before posting questions):
Q: Does the ROM support OMS and theming with Substratum?
A: Yes it does! Simply enable "Allow untrusted overlays" from Settings -> CarbonFibers -> Privacy and Security and follow the instructions that follow.
Q: Does the ROM work on C6902 as well?
A: Yes, but you will face a few issues while trying to connect to mobile data. Apparently the way to make it work is by going to *#*#4636#*#* -> Phone Info, change the network mode to WCDMA only, and turn on and turn off airplane mode.
Q: Is the ROM rooted by default?
A: No, please flash your favorite root solution after installing the ROM.
Q: Do I need to make a factory reset before installing this ROM?
A: If you're moving from cr-5.1 official builds to cr-6.1 builds, then a factory reset is recommended. Some have been able to dirty flash their way from cr-5.1 to cr-6.1, but before trying that, make sure you have a backup, in case you're caught in a bootloop. Clean install is ALWAYS recommended. If you face any issues after dirty flashing, clean flash first and see if it's persistent and only then report the bug.
Q: SafetyNet?
A: Sure, if you use Magisk and enable Magisk hide.

Try to install advanced kernel img via fastboot. Then reboot. In the kernel is twrp 3.1 included. Then you're able to boot into that recovery. Wipe all and try again to flash

Okay strange. When nothing helps try to start from the bottom and go back to stock. I will also test this rom later to check, if it's working on my third party screen.
Reflashing stock, flashing twrp again doesn't help, still same issue, something is wrong with carbon rom oreo zip

Flashing recovery that you provided does not help, still same issue persist, also there is no lines in updater-script thats checking for specific device

Nevermind, somehow i managed to flash it,first impressions.. working better than nougat, at first boot up it heated up a lot, i can't enable NFC in settings, so i can't even test it, battery is draining pretty quick, gapps is working, audio is not working , i'm gonna use it for few days, maybe i will find more bugs.. and please fix thermal in this rom, 81c cpu 44 battery and still all cores is enabled on max frequency 2150mhz

I have no issues of battery draining on my end. Nor did I face heating issues. My phone went to deep sleep and drained less than 1% an hour. Maybe you should just let it settle down for a few days and see if it helps.
If not, maybe it's me not using a SIM card or gapps giving me a better experience.

Really? no heating issues? try use 100% of cpu and it should throttle down frequency when it heats up, but it doesn't doing that
i'm only connected to wi-fi and charging, brightness set to 0% no apps in background.... no problems with heating? look at this

good morning, I saw that you have solved, I still do not flash because of too many bugs and the bug that is present in addition to the other bugs! thanks to the developer for the work done! @drakonizer
o be an alpha, the rom is stable.
some things do not work:
- without audio in calls and player
- root can not be activated
- the phone gets very hot
- the wifi is disconnected every time
- the sim card sometimes detects it and other times it does not
- the gapp can not be installed gives error 20 the twpr
for now just notice those problems .... thanks
