Watch didn't change time zones - Moto 360

It's my first time changing time zones with this watch. When I landed, my phone changed time zones accordingly, but my watch is still on the original time zone.
Any thoughts on how to correct this?

When I had a Gear 2 on a trip, rebooting it reset the time.

Agreed. Turning the phone off then starting back up changed the time. I wonder if we will see an automatic time change without a reboot in a future release.

Strange, just traveled trough a timezone myself, and the watch switched the timezone automatically...

I've found that opening the Android Wear app on the phone will force it to sync the time properly. It should still be automatic in my opinion, especially when the phone has been off our in airplane mode. When it first re-connects it should sync but it doesn't.

Used to work flawless through many months of trips, stopped working couple weeks ago.... Grrrr.... No idea why out what to do but resets and re syncing is not fixing

Problems with time settings

I have noticed today that the current time on my phone is not responding correctly if I set it to automatically. Also the time zones of world are showing completely wrong, f ex. London is showing as +1 GMT.
If I set it manually the time widget I have on the main screen will show the wrong time according to the time zone it is chosen. But the phone time on upper right side will show the time I have adjusted manually.
Does anyone know why it is behaving like this and how to fix it?
Set the good time zone for you on automatic and restart your phone.
It works for me.

[Q] Phone periodically showing wrong time.

Every now and then my phone shows the wrong time. I have to reset it and it fixes, but it has become a nuisance because it will do it in the middle of the night and my alarm goes off.
The phone is stock with the latest update.
I've searched google and the forums to no avail. Maybe I've been using the wrong search words. Any help will be much appreciated.

Did you checked Settings-Date and time-Automatic date and time? Just try to set the date and time by yourself not automatic.

I had this problem back when I first got the Note 2 on both my wife and I's phones.
All I can say is, I hope it's as simple as the previous poster mentioned in your case because I spent a month tinkering with settings, letting Sprint techs do some tinkering themselves, and completely wiping and upgrading the ROM on one phone to no avail.

In the end, one phone suddenly started keeping time for no apparent reason and a month later the other one did as well. Huge pain since the time shifts are unpredictable.

I toggled the automatic setting but have not set the time manually.

G3 Car Bluetooth Issue

So my G3 random shuts off the Bluetooth about every 3 minutes. I then have to reconnect it but it will again disconnect in 3 minutes. Didn't do it the first couple days I had it so I'm kinda confused. Didn't do it with my M8 or my iPhone. I don't want to return it but I'm getting fed up with this phone...
Any ideas? Thanks

is it every 3 minutes on the dot ? or....'around' every 3 min
sounds like it could be a tasker, or trigger task.
maybe try clearing out the pairing profile, and repair ?

Yeah its right on the 3 minute dot. I watch the clock like every time. That's a solid idea but I don't have anything like that set up

that cant be a faulty radio; that doesn't make any sense.
do you have many apps already installed ?
would you be willing to revert to factory defaults and start from scratch ?
you could on the other hand, make a twrp backup; factory reset, BT, then restore
i'm quite confident you'll find it doesn't disconnect;
there is undoubtedly some app/service that;s doing this; i mean you said it yourself, its only been doing it the past couple days !

Are you running ART runtime? If yes then swap back. You will get Bluetooth connection problems with it. Not everyone does but known to cause it

Anyone have an issue where you cant turn wifi on after awhile?

A restart fixes this but for 2 days I have woken up to a mobile data connection without being able to turn on wifi without restarting the phone...

I just got my phone replaced for some other issues and this one did this exact thing this morning. I really hope this isn't another defective device.
I am waiting for best buy to get in my replacement phone. My WiFi issue and random reboots are horrible. Why did you exchange your phone? What were the other issues?

Multiple times per day. Can't wait for best buy to get them in again for my replacement

Ah okay mine only did this once this morning. I'll see how it goes I guess.
If this happens to you again tonight you will need to replace it cause it has gotten worse over time for me.make sure you go to bed with WiFi on to test. Good luck
Besides the probable issue with your phone, try turning off/unchecking smart wifi option under advanced settings for wifi. Sometimes it's not that smart

It was weird. The toggle showed it was on but it wouldn't show any wireless networks where as I normally see about 10-12 networks. I doubt all my neighbors routers all died at the same time lol I blame it on sun spots

Do you have att smart WiFi turned off or frozen? That's one think that was different from my other phone. I didn't have it frozen last time. I reactivated that app tonight to see.

I was using the terms interchangeablely and prob shouldn't have lol .. It does kinda do the same as turning it off so. Oh well. I ment turn the app off.
I reactivated it too. I will report back tomorrow.I turned the app on but didn't go through all the steps to activate it

Mine is operating fine this morning. I have att smart wifi app on but not set up, smart network switch on, network notifications off, pass point off, keep wifi on always, always scanning is on, auto connect to att wifi spots off.

Help! Ambient mode seems to freeze watch.

Have had the Huawei Watch for a few days and it seems to have a deal-breaking bug. Frequently, after the watch has been in ambient mode for a while, it won't come out of it. If I touch the screen, the ambient display gets brighter, but that's all. No response from swiping or button presses. Sometimes, after a very long pause (a minute or so) it'll come back to life, but usually I have to hold the button until it restarts. Anyone run into this before? Ideas? Any help is greatly appreciated.
Using it with a Nexus 6. Android wear version 1.3.0.2176821.

Forgot to mention that the time sticks at whatever time it freezes and so it doesn't even tell the correct time. Sigh.
Have tried a factory reset. Didn't fix it.
Sounds like it's maybe in need of replacing. Like any new product release, there's bound to be a certain percentage of failures. Depending on how you look at it, you're either really lucky, or really unlucky
Well, just in case anyone else encounters this issue, I called Huawei tech support and described my issue. After a few minutes, they came back and said it was a known issue that effects some but not all watches. They said it would be corrected in a future software update but he was unable to tell me when that would be. So I could either wait for that update or send it back for an exchange. Since it happens frequently and renders the watch temporarily unusable, I opted to exchange it. They send an RMA label next day. The joys of new tech. Hope this helps someone else.

I have absolutely same issue. In ambient mode it freezes from the first day I bought this watch. Thank you for investigation and info.
got my hwatch and experienced the ambient mode freeze. to unfreeze, i enter and exit theater mode. it works. but now i'm never sure if the ambient time i'm glancing at is accurate or not...
Similar problem with an HTC M8. I'll try the theater mode to see if that helps. I still can't trust the time any more.
+1 on the Huawei Watch freeze. Sometimes after 15 minutes, sometimes after several hours. It has frozen with ambient mode disabled and with wrist gestures disabled as well.

Yes, after factory reset with no additional apps and with original buil-in Huawei faces and used to freeze. I returned it to the shop, got new one and problem is fixed.

how are you sure that the problem is fixed as opposed to it not showing yet? the freeze seems to be random and i don't know of a way to replicate it on demand. thanks

Before it froze every day several times. Now i have new one and it has been running non-stop for one week with ambient mode on and no freeze at all.

None of them had red-tint issue. It seems this is not related with the freezing ambient mode.

Got a replacement from amazon and it hasn't froze yet in the past two days of using it. The last one froze several times a day
