So my G3 random shuts off the Bluetooth about every 3 minutes. I then have to reconnect it but it will again disconnect in 3 minutes. Didn't do it the first couple days I had it so I'm kinda confused. Didn't do it with my M8 or my iPhone. I don't want to return it but I'm getting fed up with this phone...
Any ideas? Thanks
I am rooted and have the AT&T one

is it every 3 minutes on the dot ? or....'around' every 3 min
sounds like it could be a tasker, or trigger task.
maybe try clearing out the pairing profile, and repair ?

Yeah its right on the 3 minute dot. I watch the clock like every time. That's a solid idea but I don't have anything like that set up

that cant be a faulty radio; that doesn't make any sense.
do you have many apps already installed ?
would you be willing to revert to factory defaults and start from scratch ?
you could on the other hand, make a twrp backup; factory reset, BT, then restore
i'm quite confident you'll find it doesn't disconnect;
there is undoubtedly some app/service that;s doing this; i mean you said it yourself, its only been doing it the past couple days !

Are you running ART runtime? If yes then swap back. You will get Bluetooth connection problems with it. Not everyone does but known to cause it

Does anyone have this problem? Sometimes the phone is right, I put the phone on sleep/lock, and occasionally the time will come back completely off. I was late to class once because of this, and almost missed a movie competely because it was off by one hour.
I installed syncrhotime, it helps fix the problem to the correct time but I'd like my phone to be synced straight from Tmobile's servers, and remove the ability to manually change the time. I don't see that option possible?
where did u get that syncrotime from? i have time problems also

Is anyone having any issues with their 2013 N7 freezing? I've had it completely freeze up on me once, and several time just today it has had major input lag (like 2-3 seconds later) or would just not accept input. It hasn't been localized to any particular app.
Is this a common problem? Should I just go exchange mine?
Seems like a software issue which can be easily remedied.

When I first got my new Nexus 7 I did notice some "freezes" and unresponsiveness. Touches that would go unrecognized (links in the browser, back button). did a factory reset and watched it in case I decided I needed to exchange it. But it is seemed to improve and I rarely run into the freezing.
I've so far not returned/exchanged it, but an still keeping an eyes on it.
I have most certainly experienced a heavy freeze period while typing on the onscreen keyboard. While typing in all the credentials on first set-up I experienced moments of almost 20 seconds of non-response, followed by all input entering as if it was lagged out network style.
Rooting and flashing a new rom, this has yet to happen. This is why I love Android so much... its community knows that it is Unix and treats it as such.
Yea mines freeze sometimes

yeah sometimes mine locks up for like a good 15 seconds.. hitting the power button doesn't shut the screen off either.. then when it unfreezes, it does everything I did lol like pull down the bar, hit home, and the screen off

Same issue. I think I will factory reset it + install cleanrom with the jassy kernel and see if it helps. If not, I will swap it. I love this thing! Its getting more love than my ipad atm, but I think I can make room for both of them in my already-gadget-overloaded life lol.

I have seen this several times with the Swipe keyboard. Since going back to SwiftKey it has not happened.

I was wondering if its really the kernal that's causing the freezing. My N7 2013 right now freezes after about 15 minutes of turning it on, and the only way to unfreeze is by holding down the power for 10 seconds. My tablet will constantly do this after each turn on, but once I placed it in safe-mode there is no freezing. I am thankful that mine doesn't have the touch screen issue though! but this freezing problem is really driving me bonkers.
I nodded off for a few minutes the other day when I had FBReader up and when I woke up and tried to exit it was non-responsive. I get the impression FBReader forces the screen to stay on, but perhaps everything else goes to sleep anyway? That's the only freeze I can remember seeing.
First off let me say Hands Free Mode is turned off. On two occasions now I driven home from work and see I've missed a call. The log shows it was only within the last 10 minutes and it takes 25 minutes to get home. Now I know the phone will ring. Played phone tag yesterday with my boss. No one I work with has an S4 so I don't know if this is a big issue but my wife has one and she seems to be having the same issue. I'd love any suggestions as to what might be going on.

Possible deadzone on the route you take to and from work? Are you rooted? What modem/baseband are you on?

No at the time I wasn't rooted. Stock everything. And there's no deadzone. That would suck. Thanks for the reply. I've since rooted the phone and done some stuff with greenify but still waiting for a phone call while driving to see if it's still a problem.
This actually happens to me all the time when I drive. I found that turning down the volume of my cars music that's blasting helps tremendously. After doing that my phone suddenly started "ringing" again.

Hi,
I used to be a happy owner of the HTC One X since last week.
From that time my phone makes strange sounds - something like a error blip in windows. It makes me crazy, as it happens randomly, like one per minute or every second for a minute.
I did hard reset and it's back. Dunno what to do, dont wanna change to custom rom ;/
Is here anyone who had the same problem?
Many thanks!

Hi,
it happens always when screen is on. I believe that it might be one of the apps, but no idea which one as I've almost uninstalled everything from my phone. Did the hard reset and the sound was back after a few seconds after first boot.
Damn, I think that custom rom will be anwser

wait, did you put the hox in a case with nfc tag inside it?
So, I use my op5t as my primary device.
I test my applications on it(Android developer), i listen to songs and i do all the normal things on my phone, Nothing abnormal like intensive gaming/ using it while charging or anything.
From last 1/1.5 weeks my phone is over heating it goes above 41C(CPU-Z readings) while doing normal things like listening to songs on wynk(It runs in the background), using whatsapp and instagram only. I don't use snapchat that often or any camera app (barely 15 minutes in 24 hours);
So i thought its getting warm in bangalore, It maybe because of it.
But 41C isn't normal for such a less use and that too not even in the direct sun.
And from last 3 days as i test/debug my applications on my device, The developer option should be enabled, and it was enabled from day 1 i got my phone.
Now while testing apps, My developer options suddenly gets disabled by itself(No module in app is playing with the system settings at any point), and now this is happening like 2-3 times a day in the time span of 5 hours of testing applications.
I Always make sure after debugging my applications that i restart my phone to free ram/ uninstall the app i was testing, clear the cache, stop background applications, stop applications that are using mobile data in the background.
Any suggestions on the overheating and developer options being disabled by itself?
I've posted the problem about the developer options on oneplus community but i would like to get more advices on if its a bug or just my usage is more than i actually think it is.
Thank you~ :good:
Perhaps a factory reset!/flash stock firmware, I always say this but if problems persist after this then you really have a problem

Agreed but it could solve the problem, it could not, you don't know the cause, going back to out the box stock is a good start
get to stock|factory reset
had an issues with overheating in test by antutu(in net mentioned that there is no no overheating problems)
after a reset 33celcius
try it out
I'm not at all a fan of "factory reset".
It's much better to do a full wipe (fastboot format userdata).
And then do a stock ROM install (or whatever ROM you want).
If you've experienced corruption somewhere in the system files, then a factory reset may not fix that.

I fixed it. In my Moto x style I fixed this problem by letting the phone to at the highest it can and it fixes it self.
For my Op5t it never went to 45. It went to 45 and now even if I charge it or do the same tasks when I used to do when it got really hot, it's barely 33 now.?*?*?*

So I had a Moto x style and it went hot, really hot. And I was fed up because of it as I thought it's a malfunction in the phone and something's wrong. So I used to be scared that if went to hot it will catch fire or smthng. So I just one day let it go as warm as it can and it went to 45-46 and came back to 35 again and after that it's just normal temperature.
Same with my OnePlus5t. I listen to songs+charge it. So it goes really hot as it shouldn't because I'm not doing any big tasks. So one day I just left it on charging with music on. It went to 42 and it came back to 35. Now while listening to songs and charging my op barely goes to 35.
I don't know if it's a good.fix or.not but it always works for me. I've tied this on my friends Moto x play too just 1 day ago and it worked like magic
