Install TWRP Recovery through Odin. Reboot into recovery Click 'Wipe' then 'Advanced Wipe' then tick 'System' and swipe. Now flash the Firmware. It will work!
Nothing worked...Help please.
Same here
It keeps rebooting, tried wiping everything and with several ROMs, and it still randomly reboots....
Did anyone find a way of solving it?

what is that and how to do it ?
Have you downloaded the version from FXP or CyanogenMod?
It sounds a lot like the problem i had when I tried to install CyanogenMod version.
Also, why do you wanna install FXP47 and not 50?
So I was running a rooted ROM and used Odin to take my phone back to stock. It said it succeeded fine but it boots up and I keep getting this error and then a TW has stopped error. It just keeps happening over and over again. I tried 2 different stock images with the same result. Can anyone please help me?
Are you posting in the right forum?

Your signature says you're using an HTC one x so you may want to try posting in those forums. In anycase, did you wipe your cache and Dalvik cache? This can help resolve problems when flashing back to stock. Another option is to fix permissions in CWM.

Never updated my sig. It's an AT&T GS3 and I used Odin to go back to stock using the stock files from the thread in the Dev section. Tried multiple times with different files but it keeps happening. Odin says that it was successful but this keeps happening. I really need some help.

Okay, gotchya. I would try restarting your phone in recovery mode (when you flash stock samsung includes a minimal stock recovery). When you get to recovery it should give you options to wipe data/factory reset and cache (similar to what you see in clockworkmod). See if that helps. I recently had a similar problem where the stock rom wouldn't boot after flashing and doing this fixed my problem. Good luck.

Thanks. I'm trying Odin again and I'll try that if it doesn't work.
Dude, you are my hero right now. Had the same error and then did a factory reset from stock recovery and booted right up to the installation wizard screen or whatever. Went through that and all is good. Thanks man, I never even thought of trying the stock recovery.
Ever since I updated to 4.3 I have never been able to properly reboot my phone. When I reboot its stays on the splash screen after the samsung logo and doesnt move. I have to go into TWRP and wipe everything completely restore data , rom ,Gapps. I have to do this every single time I reboot. I never had these problems on 4.2.x roms or anything. Any fixes for this? Anyone experience anything similar :crying:

Right now im on the quantum v2.20. This problem happens with any 4.3 rom though Tasks,PA,Liquid smooth they all give me this error. Tried wiping the phone over and over nothing. I even installed clean without restoring data or anything and can never reboot properly. In order to reboot properly I have to go back wipe memory, factory reset, wipe everything else and install Rom again.

Well, from what it sounds it could be the recovery, so make sure that it is the latest version and also make sure that your bootloader is updated to one from the 4.1.2 OTA update. There's a post on the Quantum thread about how to update your bootloader (something necessary to flash any 4.3 rom). Just please make sure to read a lot BEFORE flashing so you don't end up with a paperweight. I assume your on AT&T, correct? If this is the case and your phone is a SGH-I747, the update should go fine. If this doesn't work, I would try asking super nicely on the official thread and explain everything with as much deatil as possible, and they'll be able to help you, since it's not one of those threads that get furious at asking questions in the dev thread. Hope this helps.

or you can go back to 4.1.2 which is mostly stable and works fine with no issues or problems compared to 4.2.2 or 4.3 AOSP/CM Roms
I'm having the same issue, but for me my phone gets soft bricked and I have to reformat internal storage for anything to work. I bought my phone with 4.1.2 already installed, and my recovery is twrp 2.6.30, which is the latest one

Hi guys I'm having big issues here, I've flashed 100s of rom's before no problem I'm no noob when it comes to flashing and useing recovery. I was using PA 4.4 and decided to give CM 11 a go. After flashing it worked fine but this morning I couldn't unlock the phone by pressing the unlock or home button. I booted Into TwRP and thought I would go back to PA 4.4. However every time I try to do a factory reset the phone reboots. I can wipe /system ok but anything else causes the same rebooting issue. I have the zips for CMW, TWRP and Philz I can flash them fine but they all cause the same issue.
Any help would be hugely appectaed.

Thank you for the reply, I'm not sure where to find the script, I've tired a full wipe via aroma installer with the same issue. I don't have any backup looks like it will have to be Odin with stock rom when I get home.

Hi, My system UI keeps failing on my HTC One M8, I have no status bar or home button, back button etc appear on my phone!
Version main: 4.16.401.10 and CID Num is: HTC__001
I have done a factory reset, cleared the delvic cache, data cache.
I get two error message when android boots up, HTC Dot View has stopped and another error message, System UI has stopped.
Can anyone help me? Thank you
You're in luck, shouldn't be to hard to fix. If you have the stock/working system ui apk you should be able to install it as an app. I had the same problem after using softkeyz. If you need the apk dm @ [email protected]

Looks like you either deleted something or corrupted something in system. You can find the ota below if you don't still have it on your phone.
Flash that and you should be good. You need the correct stock recovery installed.

Hi, Would I have to put in a stock recovery first then install the OTA (link you provided me) Thanks.
Restart the phone, then once it boots before doing anything tap the app drawer and go to settings. Go straight to the apps, and navigate to all apps. click on the HTC Blinkfeed app, and clear the data. After that go to HTC Dotview and clear the data. Restart the phone again. This should fix your problem. I had this problem a few times after doing a restore of my nandroid.

It will only be grayed out for a few seconds while it is calculating. Be patient and try again.

As said you need the correct stock recovery. You can pull it from the firmware zip in the download or download it from the stock backups thread.

Hi, I have the stock recovery installed on my M8. I have the OTA downloaded, how do I install the OTA on a stock recovery?
Resolved!!
This issue was resolved by installing the stock recovery, going into data wipe and factory reset. Then restaring the phone. Phone boots up and is working as normal!! Woohoo i been spending most of the weekend trying to fix it and it turned out to be so simple. Thanks to everyone that helped me.

You will need to find your stock recovery.. Flash it from your custom recovery i.e twrp.
Boot into your stock recovery and go into wipe data/factory reset option.
That resolved the issue for me.
