what is that and how to do it ?
Have you downloaded the version from FXP or CyanogenMod?
It sounds a lot like the problem i had when I tried to install CyanogenMod version.
Also, why do you wanna install FXP47 and not 50?

I've just rooted my phone and flashed the leeDroid ROM successfully, however a few days after flashing the ROM, my phone is unable to install any apps successfully. There is always a sign saying "Installation of xxxx is not successful"
Anyone have solutions to this problems? Do not really know what to do here
Try to factory reset your phone: settings>SD & Phone storage>Reset
If that doesn't solve it, download the ROM again and reflash it. And make sure you flash FULL-WIPE-1.3.zip first!
If you don't want to have to flash another app (for wiping data etc.) you can just do this from recovery where you can decide what needs wiping (between ROM's and re-installs though wipe everything).
Just my personal preference.

I had a similar issue & FIX posted here: http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=1054073
Not sure if will work for you, but maybe a few ideas.
Edit: Usually clearing Market cache, reboot into cwm recovery & delete dalvik does the trick, but for me, Gmail was part of the problem as well.

FULL-WIPE = the most effective solution for the all the problems!!
in adition he can do "formats" in the paragraph "mounts and storage" (if I don´t forgot the location )
This way already you insure yourself of having a hyper-clean ROM
I downloaded the Vision ROM and used ROM manager to flash 7.2. For one, it only found 10 of my apps in the market. But when I tried to install Titanium (or any other app), I got an error. I tried rebooting once and then clearing market data, but it was of no use. Any suggestions?
Someone suggested that it is gapps issue and that the previous 613 worked fine. How does gapps work? Are there more features in the later versions of gapps? Should I flash the ROM and gapps back to back in Recovery?

You can try that, if it fails delete the Vending apk from /system/app or overwrite it.

you can try going to the android market website, logging in and try installing the apps remotely. Sometimes if this works after a few hours the install from the phone starts working also.
What ROM were you running before you flashed 7.2 ? Was it an earlier CM or a different ROM ? Because if it was a different ROM you should have wiped before you flashed.

I was on CM7.1 Stable.
I had a weird problem with the market (google play) too where it just force closed each time i opened it. To fix that, i just went to app management in settings and i uninstalled all the updates for the market, i then opened the market, went to the homescreen, waited a few minutes and google play was back. Since doing that, i haven't had any problems.
Maybe doing the same on your phone could fix the issue.
I tried doing this again. This time I went into CWM and did all the cache wipes and did a factory reset. Same error. I even tried to flash gapps 613 version and that also would not let me download apps.
I am trying to understand how the market works. It shows me all my purchased apps on the new ROM. What about my free ones? I know I can get it back from Titanium, but is that the only way?

maybe try fixing permissions (had a guy come to #g2root having some problems with the market, and fixing permissions worked for him)
Ok got it to work! I flashed the ROM, went straight to Manage Applications and deleted App data under market. It works now. I wonder why.

I've been trying to flash CM 7.2.0 and every time I do it, it either A) freezes on the kernel or B) freezes on the boot animation. My bootloader is unlocked. Here are the steps that I've tried.
1. Flash R800x_3.0.1.E.0.88_Verizon.ftf
2. Activated phone, wifi, and whatnot. Play around with it for a few minutes.
3. Flashed the kernel that came with FXP CM7.2.0 zeusc.
4. Boot up into recovery. Wipe user data, cache, dalvik cache.
5. Flash CM7.2.0 zeusc zip.
6. Reboot and the boot animation freezes. I've waited up to 30 minutes and no change. Pulled the battery out, turned on, still freezes on boot animation.
I've done the same thing with R800x_4.0.2.E.57_Verizon.ftf and still no luck. Any ideas?

Yes I've flashed a ROM before. Following these same steps, I was able to boot CM9. I've also managed to get AokPlay, Paranoid Android and a few other ROMs running on my device. I always flash back to stock before attempting to flash a new ROM.

If you are still having trouble flashing CM7, I would suggest downloading from zeusc section of http://get.cm
Or, you can try one of the many CDMA optimized ICS/JB ROMs.
You may have to wipe everything a few times. Of course you can always use my modified cm7 which has autorotation unlike any other cm7 for zeusc lol

I might switch back to CM9 or Paranoid. I've tried the JB ports. One has working data but no sound, and the other CDMA has everything working except I couldn't get data to work. Thanks for that URL, which one would you recommend? RC1, 2, 3 or stable?

If the get.cm doesn't work either, I'll go ahead and try the one in your signature. If all else fails, I'll probably go back to CM9 or Paranoid.
Thanks for all of the help you guys, this is a pretty nice community. :3
Sorry to double post, but I tried the ones from get.cm and the modified one from agraceful, but both froze on the boot animation then crashed and froze on the kernel. I think I'm just gonna give up on this particular ROM.
Check what kind of kernel you using.
I had simillar problem whed used kernel from XDA downloaded file. When used from file downloaded from CM project site it runs with no problems.
I have no idea why that happen, maybe on XDA forum is different modificated version for 800x or 800i etc. and not working with all phones.
Hello Folks
I have a problem booting my GNex when particularity I flash gapp (20120726). Right now, it has BlackBean Rom that includes gapp. A few days ago I tried flash XenonHD, when I did it, boot everythings is ok, but when I flashed the Gapps, GNex presents GoogleLogo and reboot again, going to Recovery. I made a Full Wipe, Dalki, etc... nothing. it stays trying to reboot and going to Recovery
The same thing happens when yerstady I tried to flash AOKP.
Thank you.
I run into really weird problems if I don't flash the ROM and gapps at the same time, depending on the ROM, anything from boot loops to misbehaving apps. Try and start from scratch: make a titanium backup, wipe everything, then install ROM+gapps. If that doesn't work, it's probably your version of gapps. Maybe a bad download or just a bad package entirely.

I did it, same result. It´s weird. I just can flash Roms with Gapps included. I downloaded several times the gapp zip.
Could be kernel? Maybe, I dont know.
On ICS´s times I could flash every rom I want (even MIUI), but on JB no.
What exactly are you doing? Give me a step by step from the beginning.

Firstly, thank you for you time
Step GNex Maguro
1) FullWipe
2) Wipe cache, Dalvik, etc
3) Flash ROM (XenoxHD or AOKP) JB
4) Flash gapps (ver. 20120726), downloaded from goo.im
5) reboot system
then...
...
Appear GoogleScreen
...(10 secs)
reboot
...
Appear GoogleScreen (again)
...10 secs
(PUFF) Go to Recovery.
...
I reboot again and it keep going back to recovery
But, when I flash a ROM that includes gapp inside (ie Black Bean aokp), everything is ok. Boot normaly.

Looks like it might just be an issue with your phone. A hand full of other people are experiencing similar things with jb.
There should be a super wipe utility that you can flash before you flash the ROM. You'll have to search for it tho. I'll look for it when I have a second but that's about the best I can do for you right now.

Here's the original.. the link is at the bottom of the OP. The direct download is http://goo.gl/Lerzy
I haven't tried it but all it does is format everything except your sdcard... It's technically made for the GSM version but if you have the CDMA, it should do the exact same thing. The same usual disclaimer applies...
If that does not work, I would try and find another GB ROM and take the gapps from that. Try out a few other ones to see if it works. If you install over clean (as mentioned before) it seems to be more stable.
Thank you
Now I can notice that when I flash Rom based CM/AOSP I can flash gapps normally, but AOKP not. Hmm.. it´s wierd.
I dont know what I did, but now I cant flash AOKP Rom, noone, even I can´t restore my backup from CMW... I get /system problem...
Well, for a while I will stay on a ROM based CM/AOSP til I get or find the cause.
Thank everyone.
Hello! I have managed to root my phone, but I got the set up wizard message and the gapps error. After a google search it told me I had the wrong version of gapps. However, when I go to the official gapps page, the download for cm 10.1 only works with 4.2.2 and not 4.1.2. The one for cm 10.0 is for 4.1.2, but on the hercules downloads page, the 10.1 stable release is already out (that's the one I used!). Does this mean I have to run 10.1 without gapps, or downgrade to 10.0 if I want gapps?
Trust me, I have searched for this. Any help would be appreciated.
if you are on 10.1 grab the first one on the page http://goo.im/gapps also double check make sure you have no market installed if you do then you dont need any gapps install everything from the market
Alright
Ok, I'm gonna try that. +1 thanks for you. Man, I'm such a noob. :crying: :crying:

It's circling now...it's been at it for about 5 minutes now...the wait is unbearable!
Circling
It appears to have no end to the blue circling boot screen. I tried clearing cache and factory reset using CWM, no cigar still. Any fixes for this?
The CM version is the 10.1 stable release for hercules.
The gapps version is the 20130301 version.
which link did you flash for the CM what thread point in the right direction where you flashed from ? if you booted up the first flash and gapps were incorrect it shouldnt matter when you update the gapps it wipes the old files just make sure to wipe dalvik/cache and reboot
My Idiocy
I am retarded. I decided to go and unroot the phone and flash a stock rom and try again. I then flashed twrp via odin (which I prefer now) with no problems. But for some reason, no matter how many times I clear everything and try different kernels, the device will just not root. I have tried the superuser zips from the official site, I have tried the superuser from CWM's site, nothing works. Gah. Now what? Am I stuck stock forever?

Just use TWRP to flash whatever (Hercules) ROM you want. Make sure you wipe dalvik, cache, system and data.
Alright, I will try a wipe again, and then flash a custom ROM. If it doesn't root me I will report back with the situation. Thank you for all your help!
Um, just another question before I proceed with wipe and rom...if the ROM is based off of JB 4.2.2, such as Cyanogen mod, will my phone just run 4.2.2 as part of the rom, or will it be incompatible?
EDIT: Never mind...
I love you all forever. It works, and I have gapps running and root access. Thank you so much...I really don't know what to say.
