Hey guys,
Wondering if anyone knew how to remove exchange security policy in mail on the One X?
It's annoying having a PIN to unlock the phone (even with the 15 minute timeout), it'd be nice to be able to use the pattern unlock. PIN unlock for some reason is really laggy and because of that, I keep making typos just entering 4 digits ... anyways, if someone could help that'd be great!
Thanks!

Thanks! I'll take a look now
Thanks! It worked!
Is it possible to get one of you talented fellas to port the MOD from the ATT HTC One? I tried flashing the MOD to use the HTC Logo as a sleep/wake/menu but it bricked my phone (perhaps since we are on 4.2.2?), did a restore and that fixed me back up.
Would be nice to have this on our Verizon version
Thanks!
It didn't brick just failed to boot probably because of the kernel flash that was for 4.1

I really want the bulletproof kernel but I am sure our devs can't get it ported until kernel source is released from HTC.

the only way to get that logo to act as a button is with a custom kernel who the dev built in the option for it..
can't be done on stock rooted stock kernel.

me too, i PM'ed the guy who makes bulletproof and he said he can't do anything until the source code is released.
Any idea when source code will be released? I am not a dev by any means, but aren't the manufacturers supposed to release the source since Android is open source?

Same thing happened with the dna update. It took a few weeks. They will probably release it when 4.3 is out.

Did you ever try to boot another HTC One kernel that is 4.2.2? Probably might be the first thing I do when I get my phone back.
You might be able to. Find the button map number and then add it to the list and tell it to wake the device when pressed.
Wait... You're telling me that the HTC logo on the front has a touch sensor under it? And it's disabled??

Sorta. Like on the Rezound. The area between the 4 buttons. The phone registered it as "key 0". Now you can't do anything with "key 0"
But someone with CWM Touch. Go to key test in advanced options and press the HTC logo and see if it registers as anything.

This is the first I've heard if this. Why... WHY in the world would they disable it? It could be incredibly useful!

Touch sensor, digitizer, I don't care. I just wanna know why they would disable it completely and not allow us the option of assigning something to it

It's not actually under the HTC logo, it's actually located right above it (practically on the screen). It's not built to be a button, it's a part of the touch screen digitizer that just happens to extend beyond the actual screen.

It might not be right under the button but the functionality is still there, we just need a custom kernel to use it.

I have used it and it is quite annoying. Honestly, its not worth the extra trouble because the area is so small and is practically on the screen. Most of the time I ended up opening the app drawer. However, roms should include the ability to remap the recents to be one press for menu, hold for recents. That would be 10x more useful than using the htc logo.

I've always been a bit pissed off at the HTC One for having two buttons..
it' a waste of space.
at least make on screen-buttons if they are going to do this crap.
I honestly hate having two button, and wish that we had the home button in the middle and a dedicated menu button.
much like how it used to be.
HTC makes some changes I just can't stand..

Hey bro, Thanks for replying I'm a newbie. Will you please elaborate? I mean what is it? Is it an app? Or something like that?
And does it cause any harm to the phone? Coz in most of the HTC phones I see that Black Background. They never opt for this.
And can I undo the changes?
Thanks In Advance! Please explain me

And is rooting necessary for this? As I have mentioned earlier, I'm a newbie and I don't have much idea about rooting and don't wanna get into it. So please mention that too.
Bro, just go to Google play store and download nova launcher. Easiest way I can think of.

Yep bro, yesterday after surfing the net, I came across various Android Launchers but in the end they set-up their own themes which are quite different from Sense 6.
I just want one thing-I want to change that black background in the Menu without changing anything else! And WITHOUT ROOTING my device.
It seems as if it is impossible to do that.
Still if anybody could help, I would be very grateful
Sorry to hear that ? well I was reluctant with giving up sense 6 at the beginning but I am very satisfied with my current set up with nova launcher and it has really grown on me. Well that's just my case since I don't use BlinkFeed anyway, still if by chance I come by a solution without needing to install a new ROM I will let you know ?

Hi I know this is a little off topic, but I've been endlessly searching to figure this out, I just noticed the other day that my Google search widget was no longer the white/gray material style n went back to the trans KK style, and well, YOUR the 1st person I've seen that has this as well. Did it just happen for u all of a sudden 1 day as well?? I'm on a VZW M7, and vzw still has us on KK 4.4.3, so I thought it May have something to do with that, but now seeing your m9 with it as well, not sure lol
Hello,
I think that's the difference between kk and sense7

I'd love to have the official lollipop icons on the bottom on the screen. Is there a way I can get that without rooting? I seen a theme in the HTC theming section with them but I don't want to use everything else in that theme
Hi,
I have been always a fan of HTC sense though I never owned a HTC device. I was able to install HTC sense Home for non htc devices. But HTC recently updates the new Dot View feature in HTC devices. Wondering if someone can port the Dot view apk for all android devices. Thanks in advance.
