I noticed something strange now. Even though the device doesn't heat as it will highly heat when playing games for some time, I noticed this message ( refer the pic attached ) popped up when I tried to increase the brightness!
Is there anybody experiencing such issues with V500? I don't want my device to do like this! What;s the reason for this problem??
Thanks in advance
disable AUTO brightness!
thermald.conf CAN reduce even brightness percentage if too much heat.

I have an lt28at ion, roughly 1.5 years old (AT&T replacement for a bricked one) with stock bootloader/firmware/etc. Not rooted; all OTA updates.
Anyways, my issue is that under any load (games, internet browser, etc) the screen dies and the colors slowly fade away and the phone reboots. Sometimes this happens when sliding to unlock the lock screen immediately upon reboot. Battery level does not show as low or anything. This does not seem to happen if the phone is charging.
I tried doing the battery calibration, but the issue persists.
I assume it's the battery since the issue does not occur when it's charging. Any ideas if it could be something else? Otherwise I'll just order a battery (http://www.amazon.com/Sony-Ericsson-Xperia-Original-Battery/dp/B00LXL6OI2/ref=sr_1_1?ie=UTF8&qid=1422339524&sr=8-1&keywords=xperia+ion+battery) and replace it myself.
Any info is appreciated! Thanks!
Hi,
I recently installed the teamwin custom kernel and the AOSP Android 5.1 Lollipop from adrianom but I'm now having overheating issues even if I'm just browsing. The top of the tablet becomes painfully hot and eventually the whole thing shuts down.
I've updated to the latest version of the kernel and custom rom, installed a CPU usage and temperature app but the problem has continued. CPU usage doesn't appear to be too heavy but the temperature quickly reaches 70c.
Does anyone have any ideas or experiences on resolving this?

Is it being charged? Disconnect wifi and look for background running apps.
Is your cellular signal weak?
