A ray of hope on OTG for T21X - Galaxy Tab 3 Q&A, Help & Troubleshooting

People, a guy from Samsung Support here in Argentina gave a T210 to his wife when it came out, OTG worked flawlessly until it was updated a week ago to a more recent 4.1.2 firmware.
It is possible that the oldest first firmwares have a working otg driver.

slow-response

Hello,
I have bought a used Samsung Note 2 and I installed Android 4.3 from SamMobile, two weeks later, I started facing a slow-response problem where the devices gets too slow to respond.
Do I have to know what is my Samsung Note 2 country of origin in order to download the right firmware?
Thanks

Nope. Just make sure you download and install a ROM for your exact model, country is irrelevant though some 'other country' ROMs may have various bloatware specific to that country. So install a rooted ROM if desired, then u have control over everything.

OTG on Cyanogenmod Rom

I've got the latest cyanogenmod rom (stable rom) on i9195 but it's not recognising OTG?
OTG even works fine on my non branded chinese android phone

Officially S4 mini does not support USB OTG. You may however use F4k's kernel which do provide support, but only works on external powered USB OTG cable, since the hardware does not provider power.

[Q] OTG problems with CM11 + ElementalX Kernel ?

Hi all,
First, i'm sorry for my poor english, I don't speak English very well.

I'm currenly running Nightlies CM 11 with the latest ElementalX Kernel.
For two days, i wasn't able to get my Harddisk on OTG working, while it's working before.
My OTG cable is not faulty, i tested it on my father's Galaxy S4, and on my wonky A13 tablet, It worked fine.
Can you help me ?
Thanks by advance
Édit : with the latest nightlie and an elementalx reflash, my OTG is working again

In the next few weeks, end of this month hopefully
Hi guys, I'm glad I came across this thread before I did something I would regret. I am currently running RocketTab 3.1, 4.1.2. I believe that is the latest version of it. I was reading that Kit Kat has recently become available for the Galaxy Tab 3 and I tried to update it OTA but it gave an error that said I modified something and was unable to get it. So I manually downloaded T217SVPUBNE7 and I was about to install it. I'm glad I stopped and took the time to read that it was only for the SM-T217S and I have the SM-T210 as was mentioned above.
Being rooted, I don't think it would be a good idea to take the OTA when it becomes available. Am I right, just wait until it's actually released for the SM-T210 and wait for a root method?

Hi mate, glad you saw this before you brick your device.. Just wait until the official update for T210 is released then you can unroot your device so you can update via OTA (since you can't get the official update from Samsung when your device is rooted).
I wonder how long after the OTA is released that they will have a root for it. If I can run Kit Kat on my T210, it would be like Christmas. Pretty exciting stuff happening.
