I had Kitkat 4.4.2 EUR V20A installed then attempted to install ArtMid 5.2.2 with OTA kernel 5.3, via CWM Touch Recovery 6.0.4.8. I had to perform full wipe and then a format /system partition, then I installed the ROMs as usual. The issue is that it caused a security boot error, and then all I could do is flashing stock 4.1.2 kdz. It flashed successfully, but now internal storage can't be seen. When I go to "USB connection type" menu and choose "Media sync (MTP)". It is mounted correctly and I can see the LG device, but there's nothing in "internal storage", no folers, completely empty.
When I connect my phone with LG Phone Software, "memory" amount is 0 GB. Attached is a screenshot of Internal Storage menu. How can I mount internal storage again? Flashing stock KDZ again? Thanks in advance.
Forgot to mention that in Apps>All, I can see the following info at the bottom: 539 MB used 25GB free

Hello, I've installed rom from cappa72 and do repartition
Repartition
of internal memory of the Lenovo A820 phone has been solved already.
With this action youd intednal SD card will be disappeared and will be added to the /data partition.
Before you do anything, make a CWM backup, and save all your data from internal SD card!
The easiest way is to use this CWM script, if you want to have the maximum available size (2,7GB) for the /data partition.
You have to install it from CWM recovery.
After the installation you need to do a factory reset.
After the factory reset, you have to disable your internal SD card, with CWM script.
And then, you can reboot your phone to check if yo have got the new size of /data partition:
settings --> storage
"internal data storage; full capacity 2,7GB"
"internal SD card; full capacity <your physical SD card capacity"
If the above data appear, you have successfully repartitioned you phone's internal memory!

Now when I installing some others roms they are not working. Only waking up, screens shows lenovo logo and thats all. Is that because I did repartition? How to repair that?
I have partitioned my phone incorrectly. Phone is asking for a reset..
I deleted the /data and /sdcard because I formatted the internal storage and every time I reboot, I get a Encryption Unsuccessful message and it tells me to reset phone. I did but same message. What should I do??
Here's my phone: Cherry Mobile Omega HD (IQ6A) / xolo q1000 / Alps H100
Android JB, Custom ROM, Rooted, TWRP

8Gb External
E:/unable to mount sdcard'

Hey, I used to have the same problem..
This Problem is Common when You install Custom Roms in Your phone or Try to repartition the storage.
The Cause of this error message is a Corrupted MBR(Master Boot Record).
u can find your Phone's MBR in your Phone's Backup, If u had Created a full ROM Backup earlier.
The Fix is Simple...
1.Just Re-flash the Old MBR
2.After Flasing MBR, Completely wipe your Internal storage(data+cache)
It will surely fix the issue..
Hi all!,
So, I am trying to downgrade my phone from the unofficial CM12 to the stable CM11 from Sultanxda. I installed the official TWRP over top of Sultan's twrp - all seemed to work well.
Now, I went to do a factory reset to install CM11, and all madness broke out. I now have a phone that can boot into TWRP but has "no system", and my Ubuntu PC sees it as "unformatted". What do I do next?

you need to reformat your internal sd and it sounds like your system partition.
In TWRP, go to Wipe -> Advanced Wipe -> check Internal Storage -> press on "Repair or Change File System" -> press on "Change File System" -> press on "EXT4", and then swipe to start formatting the internal SD card. This can take up to a minute. IF EXT4 doesn't work when you flash a new rom (you get errors) you may need to format it as FAT.
use the same process for the System partition, it is EXT4.
Be sure you have everything you need on the EXT sd card because when you format system and the internal SD you will loose everything, and you need to be able to flash a rom etc from the ext sd...

OldeCrow,
Here's what I ended up finding out. I did that full wipe, and it still didn't work, even after a few reboots in disbelief. So- I downgraded my TWRP to an few versions back and suddenly, everything worked. Not sure what it means, but I got it fixed!

I had cm13 on my c2004, and i was using adopted storage (internal + external). I updated the os from its update section (settings > about phone > updates). After update, after the boot, the screen shows Internal storage encrypted> I input password, it says storage corrupted, format data. I try formatting. it takes me to recovery(twrp 3.0.0), which cant format data,as \data isnt accessible (Log attached). I tried Flashtool to reflash the stock. (I am attaching Flashtool log also).
. I also tried the fota restore to remove recovery as well. but it isnt happening.
I just need to flash the stock back. Any help is greatly appreciated.

there is actually a big button on the wipe page, [Format Data] that formats data, you were probably using the advanced wipe / factory reset which just deletes stuff from an already working data partition.
keep in mind that [Format Data] wipes all of your internal storage and settings.
I am trying to fix the phone since the last 3 days. I have tried everything.
Format data doesn't work. (the big button you mentioned)
IM EXPRIENCING the SAME Problem in Xperia M C1904 for past 3 weeks ...

Guys even i m stuck with the same situation.
Did u guys got it solved yet.
I have tried various options by flashing stock rom, different recoveries, even tried erase by fastboot method even that failed
when first time I flashed PE 12 rom, Twrp showed the internal storage after wiping and the storage was like 53GB after that I found Aosp 13 rom and wanna flash that to try, after booting into twrp the problem has started the internal storage shown 0mb and tried to format, successful but it only showing 48GB storage only not 53GB some part are missing and in the windows explorer it wont show up with MTP enabled and I tried to repair it showing some error while doing it system ext error, vendor error. I think the partition got some issue with it I dont know how to fix it. I flashed the rom using adb sideload only and that it also not worked properly for me, I lost some storage space in my internal storage now only 48gb available and can't able to flash properly, mount internal storage not working when connected to the computer now I can't able to fully wipe the interanl storage to flash the rom properly. Is there any way to fully format and repair to fix the partition error and to get the full max internal storage capacity.

Where does it show 0MB? In TWRP or the OS itself? If it's in TWRP, I think the problem is your storage is encrypted. So...it can't be read. Which is normal.
It shows the same on my G60. I wouldn't worry about it. I don't think there's anything wrong with your internal storage.
If you want, you can go to TWRP > Wipe > Advanced Wipe, select Internal Storage. You might need to reflash the ROM after that, so you can boot back into the OS.
Personally, I wouldn't mess with these options too much. If it's not a real problem, I wouldn't worry about it.
You can also try a "Repair or Change File System".
I don't know about the MTP thing... Sounds like a driver issue.

in Twrp 0MB,
My internal storage is now only 48gb free after wiping everything was there more like 53gb something I remember.
MTP is media transfer portability to PC didn't work while in Twrp, was working before not now ,
I have tried repair, file system change.
I just wanna know one thing that how much free space left in the 64gb variant after wiping everything in the internal storage.

I don't know man... Some ROMs can take more space than others, which means you will have less space available for you. But I'm not sure I understand where you're getting that information from. Where is that displayed.
Also, I don't know about using MTP (Media Transfer Protocol) from Recovery. If you know it used to work before...then I don't know. I never tried it from Recovery.

I can't. I don't have one... But maybe someone else with the same device can confirm.
