wow that's awesome! I gotta try the webcam one. hopefully a microphone already exists!
found with this software, supposively you can use phone as microphone (as well as web camera). I will try out when I get home today.
I was wondering if anybody was able to get a real fix for the Playstation Mobile APP.
I've tried flashing the certificate, manually changed the build.prop, reinstalled the app but still crashes when everything is starting to load up.
I am running AOKP 4.1.2....wondering if Jellybean is the cause?
Those that were able to have that app work, what rom is being used?
As always, XDA is the best and looking to pick some brains to get this working.

I've tried that....I am able to sign in but afterwards, crashes. I've done what was needed, just wondering if anybody can take a look on their S3 and see what the problem could be.

Mine crashes hard too.. Just download FPSe playstation emulator... Get some ISO's and be done with it..
it's just frustrating when something is just on the edge of working...and poof...nahh, we was joking...doesn't work.
I also have the emulator and a couple of roms but need to get a good controller for on the road....do you know any BT controllers that work with the S3?

gametel.se works pretty good. Doesn't have all the buttons that a real PS controller would, but still works for many games.

Buy a USB on the go adapter and you can hook up your PS3 or X360 controller straight to the phone..
I was just trying earlier with a USB OTG plug with a USB 360 controller. I can control the normal screen but it won't recognize within the game. Albeit, just dabbled with the controller...maybe trying something different, etc.
I am on AOKP build 5 OC'd with Ktoon.

Yep! this would definitely be plausible, i believe it only has 1 usb hole though (does android support usb hub?) so that is a good idea (But kinda expensive) also on a sidenote of the OUYA if Google is making a game-center (Achievements) that would go GREAT with the OUYA!

I know this isn't much help, but I will be trying it (hopefully) tomorrow. I did pair my BT headset and it said the mic was working, but have not tried it yet.
I have my webcam downstairs and will try it next time I turn on the OUYA. The problem is i'm not sure there are any apps that use the camera that are compatible with the OUYA.

I also was wundering how to make Skype work on my Ouya.
I've already installed the Play store with Xposed and mod Collection, then i've installed Skype.
But the problem is that i can connect thru Skype but can't make any call, even the test.
I have found my contacts from skype so it's weel connected but every call are losts...
If anyone has already configured Skype on the ouya came here...

I have bougt a hdmi miracast dongle at eBay.
It is mediatek CPU based and only accept a micro USB connection.
Attached to this message are two pictures that show the inside and the outside.
This dongle is a zk technologies w18 dongle and beside miracast it should also support Intel widi.
Unfortunately it doesn't support... and I cannot connect my laptop to the dongle.
I can connect two different phones with 4.2.1 android, but no success with Intel widi
Any one has a device like this? Any idea where can i get a new firmware?

But after a few tries i've managed to connect my laptop to the device, but it just worked one time... and i have no idea how did i manage to do that... and i could never ever again got it connected...
So i will have to wait for a while and see what is their "hardware" upgrade...

Sorry I was wrong. I want to connect my macbook to device, so I have to establish computer-to-computer connection. The right words should be, "supporting computer-to-computer wifi connection".
My questions:
I just bought device hdmi dongle (w18) and try to find way for connecting my macbook.
Could you please tell is it possible? Should I update firmware for that, and can I do it at home PC for existing device?
Does device support wifi access point mode, because I found that mac os x have no wifi direct?

I have a device that internally looks the same, although I do not know who produced it, but where your's say MT-WFD18, mine says RLM218_1.1, and just below W-SL + 2813.
I haven't tried anything else than just miracast, which worked not so well, was fairly slow screen update, with sound out of sync while using Dice Player on my LG G2.
When i read det description from the seller it mentions something about 'intuitive interface', from what I can see, it is just a bootlogo static screen, is there a standard way of communicating with these devices, like common SW that do something, or is it likely the intuitive interface is just that, static screen?
Did anyone find any hacks/fw updates for these?

Today I was trying to show somebody some videos I took from one of my kids training and discovered it has no sound. Got sound after a reboot, but it disconnected after half a minute and sound didn't come back since. I am also interested in an update to make it more stable...

I purchassed one of thode too.
The original is made in china:
ZK-W18 Miracast dongle.
Playback is a little choppy.
Any ideas to improve playback?

Yups... i still haven't found a new firmware
I have this device too (allview branded). Worked for a while, then sound dissappeared, then it kept restarting, then just gives black screen. I suspect it's overheating, and maybe it is damaged because of that. Not recomended...

So I have an original DS4 (apparently this isn't an issue with the latest model) and while it will connect via BT it doesn't actually work. This is the first android device I've seen not work with this controller and I find it super annoying.
I'm wondering if anyone else has gotten it to work?

I've not been able to get either of mine to connect and work. Do you know what models are supposed to work. I might see if I can do a swap with my brothers newer version.
