3G problem on F180L

Hello guys,
i ve changed today provider and 3G is not working.When i open data,it is always under GPRS.Can anyone think hw can i solve this?Also the provider is vodafone.If i download the Greek KDZ (wich is for the phone been sold by vodafone) will change something?is there any posibility to work without changing baseband?cause i think that if i change rom and then baseband same error will occur.

may be the access point is wrong,may be you can press "*#*#4636#*#*"to select a proper network mode,and i believe if you flash kdz will give you 3g back,but it is the last way.

Pressing *#*#4636#*#* didnt help.it did nothing,i couldnt choose something.ill try to back up my phone and then do a factory reset,cause lte doesnt work too.Btw 3g worked yesterday randomly some time..Dont know what the hell is going on!

May be incompatible frequencies?
F180L is version for LG Telecom which doesnt use WCDMA network.
F180L does supports WCDMA, but as i remember it has some odd frequencies.
And check the APN

well with my former provider it worked fine.And its strange cause sometimes 3g works with this provider too!the bad thing is that i cant choose in this rom in what mode i want to connect.In open european mode it had some options,also in stock avatar rom.I think ill try a hard reset and if i dont have any changes ill try to use open european version.Btw does anybody know,if i change to european version,can i have OTA updates?Or ill have to dowload it everytime and install it through KDZ updater?
Btw its F180l U+ edition from Korea

anyone any solution?

I tried this but when I clicked on the "select radio band" option, it gave me an error notice "?unfortunately, the process com.android.phone has stopped". Plz how do I rectify? NB... My device has no connection to any of the carrier networks after upgrade.

Hello, i need some help, my phone only get GSM AUTO(PRL) signal, whit every rom, kdz i flash i only get that, some one know what is the problem, i proble all my simcard in another phone and all work fine, but not in my phone, have a correct imei, the phone recognizes my operator, my number, but only in gsm auto prl networks and i can not generate calls or connect to the internet and when i select wcdma net the phone dont get any signal at all.
could it be a modem problem? or could it be a problem with my efs? I hope someone can help

[SOLVED] Can't get 4G/LTE after restoring

Hey all. I'm currently running a D855V (Australian model) rooted on stock Android 4.4.2.
So I recently upgraded to Lollipop but couldn't use it fully due to issues with some other software of mine. So I used the KDZ method to flash back to 10E. Since then I've lost all 4G/LTE on my phone.
I've tried changing the networking mode inside the mobile network settings from GSM/WCDMA to GSM/WCDMA/LTE but once selected my entire mobile network will drop. From there it will regain network connectivity for about 10 seconds (minus any data connection) and then drop off again, showing no network. It will continue to do this until I change the network type back to GSM/WCDMA or reboot (which defaults the connectivity method back to GSM/WCDMA anyway). I tried flashing the 10C firmware too (for Australia) but this will do the exact same thing.
I've also tried changing the LTE RAT settings inside the hidden menu to GSM/WCDMA/LTE and it still won't connect. It will drop the network like the previous method but will then reconnect only with a HSDPA connection rather than 4G/LTE.
I've checked the SIM card in another phone and it works fine with 4G/LTE. I've also checked my IMEI and it shows that I do have one so I can rule that out. Right now I"m at a loss. I'm thinking I need to flash a new radio or baseband but I can't find any info about that from any of the other threads I've read.
Any info at this stage would be great as it sucks having the 2nd best 4G speeds in the world and not being able to use them.

EDIT: Resolved it by flashing KK modem/baseband. Thanks to JDr0iD for the suggestion. Turns out the KK and LP basebands are done differently. Hey mate. Do you think modem is still linked to lollipop? Try another modem or restore EFS to see if makes a difference

sgh-i257 Bell receives notifications but no network connection

I'll try to be brief. lol .Before finding this site I brought my unlocked S4 mini to wind to see if it will work. The guy found the 1700 freq in the phone service menu and changed something and said it won't keep on 1700 then he said something about the nv write. After a while he handed it back and said it wouldn't work. I put my bell sim in afterward it said no sim. it won't find any bell sim now. I tried a friends telus sim and it finds the sim fine and shows voicemail notifications but when I tried to call it says not connected to network. I can see the networks but when trying to connect, the signal drops and phone says "network not available try later". After it tries to connect the signal returns to normal.
So I found this site
I successfully rooted the phone with S4Mini_RootKit_v2.zip. It worked fine but had the same network problem. I fully rooted with cm11, then 12. Same problem.
I loaded a pit file gotten gaciously from sammobile. Same problem
I've returned all firmware to factory and undone root but still same issue.
The imei and serial number match the sticker on the back so they are not invalid.
The wifi and bluetooth and general operations are normal.
I'm guessing that the nv was rewritten and to recovery as well? But I really don't know as I am very new at this but have been doing a lot of reading.
1. Is there a way to restore the nv without a backup from my phone?
2. Is there a way to restore the service programming back to factory default? (I've seen this question asked before but only found the answer it is proprietory, whatever that means)
I have qpst and efs professional and a qcn file I was able to download from the internet
3. This qcn file is from unreliable source. Could I damage my phone more than it already is, and can i edit my imei and sn into it?

I painstakingly manually edited using qpst and restored all changed setting to a previous copied save.

D855 QCN file

Hey , guys , My phone cannot search network , who can backup your qcn file and give it to me , I want to try this to fix the problem , thanks.

Do you mean that your phone is not finding phone networks?
Did you try flashing a stock rom?

Yes , it can't get network , I have flashed kdz&tot , didn't work

If you flashed your phone and still no network it is probably a hardware issue.

It can search signal after I flashed a QCN file , but it is not stable , it losts signal sometimes , and need to reboot , so I think it is the problem of hardware , I am finding another file , I will try again .
Or can you backup QCN for , and remove sim card when you backup .

Can you send me the link of the QCN file to download cause i have the same problem..

No one should provide their QCN file because it contains the IMEI of that phone.
You don't have any network, right? What is your ROM, modem version, G3 model? There is a menu to manually select the network in the settings. When you go there, does anything appears?

It can get network after I restore a QCN file from other's , and I changed IMEI to mine , but it sometimes losts network and I nwed to reboot to fix it , then I don't know How to fix it totally or what problem is now .
My device is D855 32Gb ,the problem was up when I am using fumics 6.9 , I am using it normally and suddenly lost network and notice “remove SIM card…”, I flashed kdz and tot , but don't work , so I tried to restore QCN file .
Do have any ideas for this ?
