Do not read sims card.
Do not let me change to "GSM Only"
Each time you start your phone is in Airplane Mode
is problem of soft or Hard?
If the Hardware is possible repaired?
Anyone know where in the telephone receiver is intoaccount GSM signal?

i ve seen a Galaxy SII like that, it was because a bad root, it had its imei and baseband numbers deleted, reflash it with flashtool and i think it could fix it.
I flashed with wotan and FlashTool several times but I still have the same problem, someone has another idea of what may be the problem?

I need your help please, I just bought a Galaxy note 2 from china, under the battery, i have GT-N7100 Model Number,
but when i am at Download Mode , my phone is I-317, i tried to install an AT&t stock frimware to make sure its original i-317, and everything was just fine, i got my phone flashed via ODIN, with original att latest frimware, but unfourtionately; i have no signal, unless i flash custome rom i got signal for 2-3 minutes and thin NO SIGNAL AT ALL, my imei is ok, my baseband is also ok, but i have no ideia what should i do in order to get it fixed,
NOTE: I always bye At&t phones and i have no problems att all in my country since its the same frequency,,, \

Perhaps you need to check your APN settings ??
And verify you have the correct modem for your region....g

Thanks for your response, but i don't have signal at all, but the phone automatically detects my apn settings, and can read the sim card, but there is no signal, it might be the modem, but i tried tmobile modem and att modem neither one was working.

I have following problem. I bought used phone with cm10.2.1 installed. After one day i realized problem with hsdpa connection. I put my sim card into another phone and it was ok.Then I started reading about issue and realize it could be problem with IMEI.
I check my IMEI and it seems to be ok. I went back to stock rom using Odin but problem is still there. I think I can connect to BTS, but in my phone mobile network type is Unknown:0.
I don't live in US so i don't have Us sim card, but my friends also in my country with AT&T phone could get access to hsdpa. In my country hsdpa is on UMTS 2100
Is there any way that I can check if my efs is ok? Could it be problem with hardware or rather software?
I found solution posted by umar4u, he attached file to NV writer to repair 3g and 4g issue. Is it save? Can I brick my phone or "only" mess in my efs?
Problem was solved writing NV items. I don't know if I can delete post, so please delete my post

yesterday i while changing network type from *#*#4636#*#*
i changed radio band ,i selected USA band .
from that moment device is not detecting any network,
after manually searching network screen remains blank.
i tried selecting other radio bands from the same list but no use
i dont want to root or flash my phone,
i am using Airtel gsm card mumbai circle.

You will need to flash a radio/baseband that matches your cid. Mismatched radio baseband can cause all connectivity to fail. If you don't want to modify your phone, that's your only option. Sorry.

Flash cyanogenmod, do the baseband change again. Switch to automatic. Only cyanogenmod has the automatic network selection option. Stock rom don't have.
This is the only way as I also experienced the same.

.....i hard resetd phone.....put my sim in other cellphone & operatd for 1 day as i was not having time for doing R&D on htc
On second day before going to htc service centre i put sim in it ...changed radioband to USA and selectd GSM only network mode......surprisingly it detectd airtel network

Please help me same problem i m facing i need your help.. i changed slot 1 settings in *#*#*4636#*#* three months ago then network gone.. from that day i m using my sim in slot 2 and slot 1 is not detecting network. I tried changing settings those settings again also done hard reset but not working
HTC Desire 816 Dual SIM-India, Both SIM not working after flashing CM-12, flashed official L firmware but still not working, tried above fix but still problem is there. If any one got the solution then please let me inform.

I am having the same problem, until now i can not use my htc desire 816 slot 1, no network /mmi code invalid, band select stuck USA Band, please anyone can help, what shoul i do
may be you can send radio band recovery for flashing, change to other dev rom (cynogen mod or else) or other else to do that can make my HTc slot 1 back to its baseband frequencies.

I have a oneplus two and went through the same problem . I read a lot of threads on various sites and found that this question remains unanswered. Very disappointing .I was tinkering just to find something to make my sim work . Fortunately ,I found the fix.Its very easy and a person like me who doesn't even know how to root a phone can solve this problem .
Solution.
Wipe data and cache.
Download the latest stock ROM available and flash it .
Type *#*#4636#*#*. Go in phone information.Open options . Select radio band 40. Just don't select USA.
Download Shortcut Manager lite.
Search engineering mode.(search 'eng')
Scroll down to find
com.android.engineeringmode.network.BandMode
And
com.android.engineeringmode.network.BandMode2.
Find 'Auto' option after opening one of the bandmodes.
The sim should start working.
If the sim doesn't start working , change band and reselect Auto . This should do.
PS. If u don't have any other radio band than USA then try these repairs on USA band . Hope it works. If this works please share this info on other sites and help people.

Doesn't work and fails. What do I do now ? My sim won't get detected. I already did a hard reset and still nothing.
Radio Band problem solved without flash or data loss
Hi frndz, sorry i am so late with solution but it workd on my htc 816 dual sim,
1st need to insert 2g/3g sim in ur sim slot 1
Sim slot2 remain empty,
Now restart htc 816, and go to radio band option by *#*#4636#*#* then phone info then radioband
And finally CELLULAR 800Mhz
Now direct restart mob

Am facing the same problem but with D816w, you see, my device is a Vietnam source (HTC_059) and after receiving the Android 6 update I lost my IMEI numbers due to Unkown Baseband, after some research I did find Android 5 Firmware which is compatible with my CID, I have restored my Baseband with IMEI along but with no Coverage, when i go to *#*#4636#*#* am only left with Automatic band , NO USA No Europ No African or even ASIA,
My device is rooted but with S-ON , anyone can help me with that?

sm-g925t(tmo) put to metropcs clean imei.
I been using sicmade roms for a long time.. yet yesterday night the cell just stop working in the manner that every time i try to make a call it says "not register on network".
apn settings are alright. check... i went to a metro so they try one of their sim cards.. no network still.
click search on available networks: says "unable to select network . select automatically.
Thing I already did
reset phone
sim card out
mess with apn setting.
baseband oh6(check) imei still there(check)
had metro reset the signal.
flash the v6 backup I had.
baseband oh6(check) imei still there(check)
called company(metro) every things checks out.
any advice.. thank you
updated the phone? try in GSM only, I have the same problem, but at less in GSM the phone work
Check the imei looks like it got blacklisted
