draining more than charging?!! - Galaxy Note II Q&A, Help & Troubleshooting

Guys this is very very weird ,
just reinstalled stock kitkat 4.4.2 , battery was 79 pct , connecting charger for more than 10 mins and it still 79 pct , then opened asphalt 8 and played a bit and when i closed , i found battery is 78 pct .... SERIOUSLY?!! IS THIS NORMAL GUYS?!

Depends on your charger. If you use stock charger and cable then it shouldn't happen. If i use my usb car charger while using the phone as sat navigation it drains quicker than it can charge . There are several apps you can install to monitor the charge rate of your phone

weird battery problem !!

It's been awhile since I saw the number 99 for the battery. it charges from 98 straight to 100
and it drains from 100 to 98 .. I've tried calibration but it doesn't seem to work I believe the problem started when I didn't have my charger and used my friend's huawei charger
No its a problem in kitkat wait for lollipop it will solved dont think too much about it

My Zenfone 2 (ze551ml) battery takes 7 to 8 hrs to full charge.

hello guys .. What happened to my asus? after the latest update , it happened. i already changed the cable, adaptor and still it takes 7 to 8 hrs to full its battery and there's no more fast charging indication.. Its also charging Via USB, but i plugged it directly to AC. please help
You need to give more info..
Are you using the correct charger, you need the one with output 2A, also the cable has to be compatible with that, also it's always better to start charging when is more than 60% discharged.

Yes .. im using the charger that came with it . i drained its battery 2x when im coming home late at night.
And that is the big one 18w 2a right?
You can try calibrating the battery or full system reset.
even with a cheap charger you dont need 8 hours to charge . i used my old samsung and it charged my zenfone within 3 hours. you just have somethhing draining the phone quick. clear your cache and check on yoir battery status

i have a problem with the battery, because it doesn't reload

note 2 n7100
with the new battery are unable to launch but only by holding it under charge, as soon as the detachment from the charger turns off and when you hang up the battery indicates zero % , however I installed " Galaxy Charging Current free " and gives me this information :
reference 1698mA
max 1800mA
average 1800mA
in charge
33 ° c
AnTuTu Tester with the battery is flat zero %
battery is charged by the green light and the icon on the statusbar but as soon as I disconnect the cable goes out , it seems that the battery ( new ) face only a bridge but in fact you do not load as determined by AnTuTu ..
I'm sorry to my English.,

A3 2017 strange charging

Hi. I just buy a3 on ebay. Looks like a new all working perfect. There is one strange thing with charging. Form 5% to full takes about 2.45 minutes. Phone is charging normal until 80% then dramatically slow down. It can stops on 92% for 10 mins an after battery is full. I didn't notice fast battery drain. It lasts for 2 days with everything on. I tried few fast chargers along with different USB-c cable ale still is the same. I did factory reset, but charging is still the same. Any ideas?
I have the same behaviour..did you ask Samsung?
A3 doesn't support quick charge, make sure u using 2.1a charger
Good luck
I will try charger from the box tomorrow, but I charging all my mobiles with fast charger and didn't notice that.
Same charging with charger from the box. Ok I'll not complain until battery lasts for 2 days

This is impossible. Your battery must be bad/aged
I have same problem with my A5 2017. It stucks on 92% and need a lot time to get to 100%. Sometimes i have to turn phone on and off.
I believe this problem is software related, we will see when nougat hit our device.
Battery is working fine, so there shouldn't be any issue with it.
Software or hardware calibration 99%.

Question Max charge not working anymore?

Hello!
I have been using RM8P for the past 2 weeks and everything was fine, the 65W EU adapter charged it really fast, however today I noticed something. I noticed that when I plug in the adapter to charge, the Maxcharge logo appears and the percentage displayer starts to rise fast, however after 1-2 seconds it slows down to normal charging speed, like if it was only a 20-30W adapter.
Why? How can I fix it? Restarting the phone did not help. I am on the latest OS for EU (3.19) .
Maxcharge logo is displayed but the speed drastically descreased ...
I checked several times while charging and I noticed that sometimes it speeds up and sometimes it slows down... why? Why is it fluctuating ?
What is the battery level when you plug in? My understanding of charging tech is that it is not always full speed from min to max. If you're sometimes plugging in above that throttle level it may go slower.
Then again, I'm not 100% on new charging tech. My RM8 has yet to arrive.
In my experience, it's not the phone but the charger. With my old op9pro it happened more than once, the charger started failing, you could get another 65w rated charger and check with accubattery the power delivered by both chargers. Down here they shipped the phone with the eu charger and a standard American charger rated "65” the eu Nubia charger goes to 64/ 65 watts without issues (I use an adapter to connect it) , the bundled one even though is rated 65 only gives 45w, sometimes 39, which is a bit annoying but it doesn't bother me, as long as I can charge it while having a shower or when I'm having breakfast before taking off, it does the trick, this thing is so good, battery lasts me 2 days
