[Q] i9195 - bootcycle, no keyboard, no sd mount - Galaxy S 4 Mini Q&A, Help & Troubleshooting

Hello,
at my s4 mini i9195 i tried today CyanoMod11 and the new Stock rom 4.4.2 from Samsung.
I got some problems and tied to fix them with different roms/firmwares.
So unfortunatelly i cant tell you completely everything i have done - because its so much :\ (playing around with different tutorials with cm11 and 4.3.3 stock rom)
The current situation is:
I have the stock rom 4.4.3 at the phone but the problems are:
1. no keybooard appears to enter text (for example for the WIFI Password)
2. the phone is always booting new. Every 30 sec until 1min, the screen turns black, the Samsung Logo appears. and then the SIM unlock screen.
If i try to install CM11 again, CWM can't mount the sd-card where the installation file is.
I'm always able to enter into the "download mode" with volume down and home button.
I can use odin to install "recovery-clockwork-6.0.4.8-serranoltexx.tar.md5" and it passes
I think this is a real bad description of what i did, but you can ask if you need other informations of the current status.
Does anyone know what I can do to use the Phone with any System on it again?

Stuck at Boot - After years of use (HELP!)

Hey guys..
My phone is stuck at the "Samsung Galaxy S4" screen" where it shows just the letters.
The last thing I remember doing was using taskiller and phone's memory killer to kill memory because it was slow... and when I tried to open up text messages, it wouldn't open.
So I restarted the phone and now it's stuck at the "Samsung Galaxy S4" Screen.
( I also removed some apps days before.. but I had rebooted and phone it was working just fine).
- I haven't tried to reinstall a radio.. I woudn't know which one.
- I can access odin just fine by clicking the 3 keys.
- I Can't access TWRP Recovery. I held the 3 keys, and it shows the message on the left corner like it's going to go, but then just reboots and gets stuck on samsung screen.
Tried to reinstall it, but didn't seem to work I guess.. since it still shows the left corner message, but doesnt go to twrp.
Details about my phone:
SGS4 Rooted.
Rom, Custom Stock Rom.. Jedi S4X http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=2331942 (url of ROM)
What Can I do?

1. You can flash other custom recovery through ODIN and wipe all (If you have important things in the phone better go to step 2 directly)
2. Flash the latest firmware through ODIN for ur phone: HERE

[Q] Stuck on Samsung Logo after trying to flash a rooted version.

Hey,
after my Tab 3 10.1 (P5200) got the KitKat update not so long ago, it went to an kinda unusable state, due to the cant write on External SD Card thingy.
So yesterday after checking out my options (Root or Update to Android 5) I decided to go for the root, since the Android 5 version is supposed to be a bit buggy.
Anyway, after my initial Odin try the tablet stuck at the "Galaxy Tab 3" logo, I think it was due to having a slightly different version than the root file was for.
So after that failed, I downloaded my stock firmware (P5200XXUBOB1_P5200DBTBOB1_P5200XXUBNK1) and also used Odin, which resulted in my tablet starting flawless again. But since it was the stock version, unrooted again, which is again, an unusable state.
So I went with this (http://forum.xda-developers.com/gal...-10/rom-100-stock-4-4-2-kitkat-p5200-t2866066) thread, and tried the rooted version, put it in the root of my SD Card and installed it per recovery menu, which "worked" but got me stuck on the Samsung logo (side note: The music clip that playes when the logo gets outlined by the blue circle does not play completly, the last few moments are cut), after waiting for quite some time I thought I just go back to odin and install the stock firmware again. Sadly this only got me to the Samsung logo again.
Now I tried quite a few things...
I installed another stock version (Instead of the german one, i used one from luxembourgh)
I tried to install 4.2.2 again
The last thing I tried was to install the recovery menu from here (http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=2442915), so here is something that could be interessting. I tried to do a Factory reset before trying to reinstall the stock firmware, which worked only partially, I could not mount /config, which he wanted to do to delete it I guess.
When I tried to manually mount /config it would also fail. (Not sure if thats relevant, but its the only thing that did not worked as expected)
So, everything I tried, with factory reset and stuff ended in a stuck at the Samsung logo. In one case (not sure what combination of stuff) I got in the bootloop (Galaxy Tab 3 -> Restart -> Galaxy Tab 3 -> Restart), in a rare case I just got stuck at Galaxy Tab 3, and in most of the cases I got stuck at Samsung logo (Start -> Galaxy Tab 3 -> Samsung).
So I hope somebody can help me, since Id rather not buy a new tablet only because google thought it was a cool idea to prevent apps from writing on ext SD Card, and me ****ing something up in the flash process.
My Tablet is a Galaxy Tab 3 10.1 (GT-P5200) and at the moment with the 4.4.2 build "P5200XXUBOB1_P5200DBTBOB1_P5200XXUBNK1" (atleast thats the filename of the stock firmware im using, downloaded from http://www.sammobile.com/firmwares/download/43847/P5200XXUBOB1_P5200DBTBOB1_DBT/), I used Odin 3.07 and Odin 3.09.
I can access the Odin/Download mode, the build in recovery mode, and could use the TWRP recovery mode if I were to install it with Odin.
I still didnt solve it, every help would be greatly appreciated, I really dont want a paper weight in tablet format
Bump

[Q] Please, Help me safe my GT-l9190. Bootscreen loop. No recovery mode.

First of all, excuse me for my english. I'm from Venezuela and I'm desperate because I haven't found a solution in spanish for this issue with my phone.
unexpectedly, My S4 mini GT-l9190 turned off and did'nt turn on. I waited like two hours or three, and then I tried again, and this is what happened; My S4 mini don't move on after he shows the bootscreen (the one where it shows "Samsung Galaxy GT-l9190). After a few seconds, it restart all over again.
The problem is that it was unexpected, so I don't even know wich Rom I use to have.
I've never flashed or installed a rom in the phone, but I did root to it. It is rooted. I can't even remember wich method I use to root it.
The fact is that I just wanted to install any new offical rom. I don't want the root anymore. I just want my phone to be usefull. So, I'm trying installing many roms from sammobile.com but it just still looping at bootscreen after any new rom installed.
I read that It will fix it if I just enter to Recovery Mode (Vol +, Home and Power) and clean or do somethings.
The fact is that anytime I try to enter this Recovery Mode, it just shows a message:
"Recovery Booting
Set Warranty : bit"
That happens after all the roms I tried.
I even tried installing some custom recovery mode (philz_touch), but it still shows the same.
I'll keep downloading differents official roms, and maybe one of them will work fine. But I feel that I'm missing something.
Please, please, please. Help me. A tec service in my country is very expensive, like everything. So please, help me recover my phone!
Please tell me if you need any aditional info. I'll be waiting for your answers ((

S4 Mini GT-i9195i crashes after recovery - (how to reinstall stock ROM)

Hi,
I have Galaxy S4 Mini VE GT-i9195i. The phone was a bit laggy, so I decided to factory reset. When I did it, the phone didn't booted. It was showing Odin download screen with red text "Could not do normal boot, odin mode" (or something like that). In thread [index] Galaxy S4 mini i9195i were some recoveries, so I used odin to recovery it. Now, when booting, it shows "Kernel is not seandroid reinforcing, set warranty bit:kernel" and when it boots up, there is setup screen (the one which shows when you firt turn the phone on), but the phone is spamming with message boxes "<random process or app> stopped working", so I can't do anything(by fast taping OK, I manage to get through few screens, but when it come's Google account choose, the screen goes black).
I tried another recovery, but none of them worked.
In the forum, there is also link to stock ROM, I think wiping all the data and flashing the phone with stock ROM could help, but last time I did something like this was about 5 years ago with Xperia, and I couldn't find any guide how to do this, so could you guys please tell me what to do?
Thanks.

Sorry to hear about your situation. I think flashing the stock rom is the last best option. Anyways here r the steps:
1. Download Odin 3.1x.x version( its the program via which you can flash samsung stock roms, modems, recoveries and caches etc,...google it)
2.If possible, before doing anything to your phone, take a nandroid backup from recovery like TWRP or CWM)
3.Hold power+home+volume down button to boot into bootloader menu. Once booted, it will ask you to press volume up button to continue, do that.
4.Now connect your phone to your pc via data cable( kindly confirm that your pc usb ports are working properly otherwise the flashing will corrupt)
5. Open Odin. If connected properly, you will see the ID:COM tab turn blue mentioning the port name you connected. Now click AP on right hand side and search /select the location where your Stock rom(md5) file is located. Now on left side panel(logs) you will see something is going on. Wait for a few minitues and after processing is done (when you see the lines "leave cs...") Click start and relax.
6.It will take some time to flash the rom. If everything went well, there will be a "PASS" message on top left of Odin. The phone will boot into recovery and do some cleaning and reboot again.......................................................Congratulations!!
Note: I follow this method on GT-9192 and i think its same with your model.
I think the message "Kernel is not seandroid reinforcing" means incompatible recovery software for this device. Try different one.
The only working recovery for our phone is TWRP recovery. Flash the .img through flashify after rooting with Kingroot / Supersu me and you are done . Be sure to flash the stock rom through odin to fix any hiccups with app not responding and after proceed normally.

Am confused, old rom still intact after flashing + Samsung Galaxy tab 3 SM-T111

Hi prospective helpers
I have a Samsung Galaxy tab3 SM-T111, it was given to me by my school loaded with all the uncool school apps and the school logo on startup right before Samsung splash screen. Am graduated now and the tab is fully mine, My little sister wants to use it but the phone and ability to make calls was deactivated by the school.
WHAT I DID:
I was able to successfully flash the tab with heimdall and TWRP (i use Linux Lubuntu), i downloaded the ROM for the tab and using procedures i got online i flashed it. The Tab rebooted and to my frustration it loaded the same school slash screen but all my apps and documents were wiped off. the phone still didnt show up also.
Am sure i didn't miss any steps cos i got the "Flash Successful" after the flash and TWRP screen replaced my default recovery screen (when u press the power + up volume + home buttons together).
Q! What did i do wrong ?
What can i do?
I need to get rid of the old rom completely and install a brand new one with all the features back and working perfectly.
Please Help.
Thanks
Support for SELinux contex
I tried installing the ROM from TWRP recovery, and this is what i get:
Kernel does not have support for reading SELinux contexts.
TWRP version: 2. 7. 0. 1
i also tried flashing with different TWRP recoveries but they didnt load up, same with CWM recoveries.
Only the stock recovery and TWRP v2. 7. 0. 1 worked.
But still not installing the ROM.zip
(Samsung Galaxy tab 3 SM-T111)
Thanks
