want to root nokia xl

hello friends i am new here joined 5 mints ago and i don't know which is the perfect form for my question i want to root my nokia xl and i also tried rooting method of nokia x but it does not work for nokia xl

Please help with Root nokia xl 1.1.1.0 Last updated does not support the root never
I have tried various ways but would be futile and also experimented Adat Nokia X. But it did not work
Is it possible method or program is simple and easy to update supports the issuance of rated thank

Werewolf44, besides using Framaroot method which is the easiest, the only way for now I believe is to use Nokia X Manager since Framaroot method doesn't work anymore

Make sure that you install the device driver for your phone on your PC. Then, it should work. :good:

Before install USB & ADB drivers. and then you will be mobile connect nokia x manager.

[Guide] Whatsapp Fix in Stock Rom

Whatsapp "Device not supported" issue.
(YOUR DEVICE MUST BE ROOTED!)
-----------------------------------------------
Steps to fix this issue in Nokia X are:
1) download Rom Toolbox Lite (http://www.appsapk.com/rom-toolbox-lite/) and install
2) Open the app then tap "ROOT BROWSER"
2) Go to "system" directory and tap "build.prop"
3) Tap "RB Text Editor"
4) Find the line "ro.product.manufacturer=Nokia” and change Nokia to Baidu
5) Save the file then reboot your phone
6) ???
7 PROFIT!

Remember to backup your /system/build.prop so can undo change if future OTA update fails. At least X2's OTA mechanism is balking at build.prop customizations.

Not if you did what you said correctly. I used ES File Explorer to do this and got my phone soft bricked. Had to flash stock ROM. Though, no regrets, I couldn't update my phone due to root so I flashed the updated ROM

There is a better way now. Whatsapp Plus works on the Nokia X/XL without any modifications. If I am not mistaken its version 6.0

but whatsapp plus isnt working on my device. verification doesnt work they ask to install original whatsapp first than talk with some friends then uninstall it and download whatsapp+ again but i cant verify on whatsapp too because they said "device not supported".
clicking from widget doesnt work anymore.

Then edit build.prop using Root Explorer. Change ro.build.manufacture from Nokia to Baidu.

because WA+ require some files from WA official... so you need to install WA official first.

How to do it bro mine is XL after it updated to v 1.2.3.1 whatsapp + not working anymore even the new v. 6.0

my nokia XL to 1.2.3.1 no problem.

And one more thing i've notice there is a apps called apps2sd its not working anymore before there's option to transfer apps to sd now when o try to move it only show move to phone and internal memory, is there any news regarding this problem? Tnx

Nokias partition layout is diff than other Android phones. So thats the problem.

it works, but then mixradio app says no support for non-Nokia phone...anyone can help on this?

Hello, I want to revert back to the Nokia XL Stock ROM. I need to know how to do it in a easy way without getting my device bricked because there is no Nokia Care center near me. Not even KM near. So I need help. Please help me. Thanks! I'm currently running TWRP recovery. And SemiAOSP ROM v2.

step1:
download navifirm+ on your pc
step2:
install it on your pc and enter your xl product code it is available on backside of your nokia xl
step 3:
download all the .img files which will be provided on navifirm after you entered your product code.
download system, boot,cache,recovery,data,variant.
step4:
flash all the files by using nokia x flasher by Angsanley.

Guys i have recently updated my android from lollipop to marhmallo in yunicorn after that update my phone automatically unrooted and i can root my phone again do you have any idea about rooting YU Ynicorn ?

Well i have the yunicorn and after installing twrp i cant go back to stock recovery because i accidentally deleted the back up.. Anyone got the stock recovery?

Same problem with me. . I tried uninstalling play services and installing 238 version of play services and now its stable

Rooting YU Televentures is easy work , you can root your yunicorn on the updated OS i.e. Marshmallow , I rooted thrice and unrooted it by simply one click by the Root King

You have to flash GApps from TWRP, for solving this problem.
There is a problem in lib folder of the system directory, that is why after installing xposed Google Play Services could not understand the sdk version.

TWRP for YU Yunicorn
This will void your warranty
You can get your warranty back by flashing stock rom
You need SP flash tool, you device and some working brain
First, extract the TWRP_YUNICORN zip on your computer.
Run SP FLASH TOOL as administrator.
Then select the scatter file from the extracted folder.
Wait for flashing.
Now, you have successfully installed TWRP on Yunicorn.
Important Notice-
If you did not see the recovery after flashing it may be due to the problems in recovery, flash the recovery twice one after the other.
Do not try it on any other device.

I saw this thread but it's only for people that can turn on oem unlock within there developer settings. I can't and the crom service apk will not work on my device. Do you know of any other way. All of my other samasung devices I was able to unlock the bootloader cause they was through TMobile. Now I buy OnePlus devices for my second phone to unlock the bootloader and root. The U.S. carriers need to chill on locking the bootloader

I can still help you.
But I want to ask you are you only rooting this device or you want to install custom ROM after rooting??
If you want only the root then I cannot help you with out unlocking boot loader but
If you want to install custom ROMs then I have solution for installing without rooting your device.
