I have recently updated mt T211 to 4.4.2 (not Rooted) since then i have got problems connecting to wifi its like really strange
I will try to explain my problems i have faced
It shows wifi connected but i cant go to play store or sign in to mail account but can browse internet but it goes after some times
Same with the play store it show updating but disconnects
I was not having problems before since after 4.4.2 update i got this problem
Is there any one else got this problem
Can i downgrade by doing so will this problem be fixed

Yes just downgrade your firmware with odin. P.s. you posted this in the wrong forum

i just got the one V today evening and when i try to connect my wifi its not connecting it keeps saying poor some thing and not connecting i never had this problem with any other wifi

you able to grab a logcat? so we can have a look? im sure someone else had this problem and took it back to the shop.... (also you might wanna move this to Q&A)
i am suddenly started facing weird issue..i am nt able to download from play store via wifi
i could download before from my home's wifi ..but suddenly facing this issue..any help? i didnt change any of my wifi settings
and also i am able to download at my frnds place over wifi though soo no rom or phones issue
note- i am able to surf over wifi download also other than play store..
help pls

wipe play store data.
already done full wipe + sd wipe still the same.. any more suggestions?

yesterday my i9195 recieved an update to JDQ39.I9195XXUBMJ7 but since then WIFI refuses to work.
Contactting Samsung on twitter they say to backup and update by wifi, duhhh.
Trying by pc, KIES says : doesn't support software upgrade
Even KIES3 does
So now i'm lost to fix wifi issue
Luckily i run on private Phone my note 2

I am experiencing the same issue, same phone and rom i9195 JDQ39.I9195XXUBMJ7. Wifi works after reboot for about 10 minutes and then stops responding. It may stay connected for a few hours after it stops working, but the phone can't send data over it.
I have wiped data/factory reset the phone to no avail.
I read somewhere about a few people with other devices on 4.2 having troubles with AES encryption on their routers. Might be somewhere for us to start troubleshooting. The other option is to just try downgrading to the previous version.

A few days ago I was able to update my unrooted HTC One M8 to Lolipop. This was an official update, received as a notification on the phone. Again, the phone is NOT rooted, the Lolipop version should be the official one.
However:
- 1st thing after the update, some applications lost access to the internet. games and applications which used to work before stopped working saying something along the line sof 'you need an internet connection to continue'. This while the phone was connected to the Wifi, and playing online radio.
- online searches gave some solutions for this problem: forget the network and reconnect, reset the router, change the wifi channel, even factory reset. tried all, with only one result. now even more apps don't have internet access (Facebook, HTC Internet, Chrome browser are among them).
So, basically, the Lolipop update changed my phone to a really, really expensive not-so-smart phone. I need to revert back to kitkat, and i need your help. Please let me know if i can revert to kitkat without rooting my phone? i don't want a custom ROM, I was pretty happy with the original htc ROM.
if somebody else already asked this question, I appologise. I searched for a similar problem but didn't find anything, just a lot of problems and fixes for rooted phones.
I just bought this phone a couple days ago and it was working perfectly fine, I started downloading the updates, i eventually got to the 5.01 lollipop update and updated, I booted up and was excited to see the awesome android L features, sadly whenever I open any app (example kik, instagram, snapchat, or even google chrome) it will not connect to the internet, I used my data and it works fine, so I decided maybe it was just a bug so I did a factory reset and it still didn't fix it, so I unlocked the bootloader flashed a recovery and several custom roms which still did not fix the Wifi issue. I am stuck and don't know what to do at this point. Please help, thanks.
Hello. I have the same problem. I contacted HTC support and they admin it is software problem. Let me explain.
It is very stupid error. Some apps are working some not. But if you try to connect to diffrent WiFi access point it will work. I have problem with ZTE router and with him phone WiFi is not working . But with Cisco. Dlink unifi all is ok. HTC promised to release update to solve thug enconviance.

any update on that? I am too using ZTE and half of apps are not working! I'm on ViperOne 5.0.2

Everytime I active the tethering on my phone (D855), i have internet on my computer but every x seconds, internet go away for few seconds and come back again, i can't watch a stream correctly or play online games . This happen since i have installed Marshmallow from Lolipop. I have tried to install different modem like the 21A or the "autohydrid" but nothing work, the problem persist.
Someone have the same problem ? I have see nothing like that in this forum...
