Really? I didn't know app-brain let you refund. Can't you just back it up and then restore it after getting the refund?
Well as far as I can tell all appbrain does is send the link of the app to ur phone that leads u to the market. So through the market ur able to refund and everything.

novas a cool game you can buy it from gameloft.com or google 'nova.apk' to possibly find it from a 3rd party vendor

unless someone specifically asks for links to warez they shouldn't be berated, nobody has the right to make any assumptions about what people are asking. Sure it could have been worded better but too many people on here just want to jump down peoples throats just for the sake of it.

I have an Evo and I am going to use my upgrade to get the Evo 3D when it comes out. I currently get a discount monthly due to my place of employment. Does anyone know if I need to bring proof of my employment there when I upgrade to continue the monthly discount? No one at Sprint could give me a solid answer

Ok, I did not have to.
I just went to an authorized reseller (mall kiosk) and said I wanted to upgrade my phone to an EVO (about 2-3 months ago)
I did not need proof of employment, they just did the ESN swap and turned on my new EVO.
Simple, no muss, no fuss.
You definitely do not need to provide proof!!!

I recently bought an app in the market that is 15$ well worth, im not saying what app cuz i dont know if it may cause trouble for my question. Now my question is if there is any way that i could rip this app so that my wife can use it, because i really dont feel like paying double for the same app if u know what i mean. Well any help will be appreciated thanks in advanced.

If your good with logcat and adb you can stop the licence check You just need to do it before running the app.

Generally with in app purchases if you explain it was a kid they will refund you but it does depend on the company

From my experience and from what i have read the terms of use for in app purchases often dictate that the purchaser must be 13 or older or something along those lines so legally if someone under that age buys it they must refund it

I'm sure they are held to a minimum age requirement...but it almost always comes down to the company, and the staff.

Yeah but how would they know if the purchaser is of legal age? Many could just claim this and get refund.
Good news guys. .. They said they would refund me. . It was like $260 .. I didn't put this up front to avoid the drama lol as I wanted solid advice. . There were no debate as I think the amount of money I spent helped me get my money back easily. .. Money should show up in a week.
