I have noticed that soft keys light is flashing by itself occasionally without touching the keys? I have closed the light from the settings menu and this issue stopped
Any body faced this issue?

I have the same issue and I have done what you have done with no luck of resolving it..sigh
Have you tried a factory reset? Is it a new device? Or maybe go into the recovery and try deleting the cache first before you do a full reset. Doing that has solved problems for me in the past on other Android devices.

My XDA IIs hard resets on it's own IE got a txt message hit the power button to bring it out of stand by and the thing resets. I have removed all 3rd party software and it is still doing it.
I am running V1.4 and 1.13 Radio ROM funny thing is that it just started doing this about a week ago.
Anyone else experience this? Better yet anyone else know how to fix it?

i just got this problem.
was receiving an MMS message when it froze, had to reset it (only way i know how to is take battery out) and then it just formatted and reinstalled everythin again.
if i press the reset button will i iloose data? or is it just a reset for the phone?
Pressing the reset button only with the stylus results in a soft reset. Pressing the power button and the reset button at the same time causes a master reset causing all newly installed programs to be deleted. All pre-installed programs are then reinstalled and all default settings are restored as well.
Hello, I tried searching but to no avail.
I have an intermittent problem that is getting the best of me with my TP2. The phone application seems to freeze randomly. It seems to usually occur at the end of a call when I go to hang up. I click end, the call ends and the phone just freezes. The call is disconnected, but the end screen is just displayed and my only recourse is to soft-reset.
There is really not a lot of third part stuff on it, in fact, I did a hard reset not 5 days ago.
Can anyone offer any help on the matter...

I also have the same problem. I recently upgraded to WM6.5, but the problem still exist.
Somtimes the light on the bottom remain on as the phone freezes
I'm also having this problem, infact it keeps freezing on the home screen for me..
If I was not so green, I'd consider trying to get more stable by flashing a different ROM but I have no clue how to even begin to find one, select one, and do the operation.
You might try doing a hard reset. That's cured similar problems for me. I wouldn't suggest doing a backup, because you might backup and restore whatever is causing the problem.
Did a hard reset and no backup loaded only 4 days ago.

Hi looking for some help.
I am running the AthineOS on my touch pro 2. working when I went to bed. left it on charge by my bed. I has just woken me up with an intermittant vibration pulse (like the start pulse). the orange light is flashing and it will not start past touch pro 2 screen.
Have soft and hard reset it but has not worked still.
Has this happened to others?
is there a fix?
will having a custom rom stop me getting it fixed with HTC ?

Mine did a similar thing, but then I realized that the hard reset for Verizon is different than on the other devices. Have you tried VolDown + Send?

Ok so I did a factory reset on my g2 and afterwords everything was fine but the touchscreen doesn't work and sometimes it clicks things on my phone, I can't even unlock my phone I can only use it when I do a factory reset because I can use the trackball for that, please any info would help
Ok so I've been able to still use my phone for the most part with no touchscreen (that's what I'm typing on). I've found similar issues but they all involve replacing the screen digitalizer but I'm not sure if its hardware before I buy one because I think its a aoftware issue, because when it first happened it would sometimes click things when I touched the screen but it wouldn't be what I touched
So many threads about proximity sensor problems, but none of them with the right answer...
I have this problem with my Sensor were everytime I reboot my phone or do a Factory reset using recovery,
EVERYTHING starts to work normal. It last for about 5 minutes when the screen no longer turns off when I get a call and get it close to my ears.
I dont know what it is i've tried different Roms and going back to ICS but the problem keeps showing after some time. There must be some Gnex users with the same problem and yet there isnt a solution... perhaps is a hardware problem? maybe not because each time yo reboot or factory reset... the problem goes away. Any help will be appreciated.
