What exactly does this have to do with paranoid android?

Need "recovery image" file for boot into recovery mode. The old recovery mode replaced with other recovery image. But that is not supporting.
Again. What does this have to do with the paranoid android project?

I've tried using that recovery and installed it with uncle mobile app but it didn't work.
Is there another method of installing recovery on phone?
As the topic states. Will only boot into Android recovery when I enter Rom Manager to boot to recovery, and can't install rom.. Any help would be appreciated.
Device is a SM T520
Thanks.

From a cold start, holding Volume up + Power doesn't put you into recovery?
Whats up lads,
so I just rooted and wiped my Tab S 8.4 but it's being weird when it comes to flashing.
I actually have the T705Y Version, the LTE Version(Australian, if it matters). But when I try to flash a Rom for the T705 Version it gives me this error:
This package is for device: klimtlte; this device is klimtwifi
However if I flash a rom that's designed for the T700(wifi) version it gets stuck during the installation on this error:
Patching system image unconditionally
Tried with several roms. Please help me out of my Rom Limbo! haha
cheers
Flash the right version of twrp for your device.
Are you attempting to flash an aosp rom?

Yeah I think you're right, that should be it. How do I flash the recovery though? I can't get out of the recovery on my tablet so fastboot won't detect it, will it?
If the recovery is twrp then extract the image from the TAR, if it's stock recovery then flash with odin.
POWER +HOME +VOL DOWN.

It's TWRP but how do I use the recovery.img file then? I mean I cant flash it, can I?
Yeah that Button Combo just reboots the device and then it gets stuck in the original boot screen, you know the black one that just says Samsung Galaxy Tab S SM-T705Y powered by Android because I have no OS installed
You don't need an os installed to boot to download mode.
You need to hold those 3 buttons until download mode appears.
Download mode will ALWAYS be available unless your device is hard bricked.
You can also boot to Download mode from twrp by selecting the download button.
To flash the recovery.img, as said extract it then select install in twrp then image then recovery.

YES haha I never saw the Image button in the install section before. The wrong recovery was the problem.
You legend! Thanks bud
Hey, my D855 is running cm13 now. I can access recovery mode but whenever I try to boot into download mode I get " secure booting error". Any fix for this ?
Is your device rooted and custom recovery is installed? If so then which recovery and version it is. Are you able to boot into system. Tell whole detail.

No thing new , still cant boot to recovery
Every time i try to boot into recovery the device shows black screen and not open
Sorry for my very bad English
Which version of twrp are you running??
Because you'll need the modified twrp 3.0.2-19 if you are on the Community Builds. Official twrp doesn't work on Community Builds.
Stock recovery from OP will also give you a black screen unless you take the one from inside e.g. the CV 3.5.4 image.
But since you can't get into Recovery to flash it... Can you go into fastboot? Maybe someone can extract it. From there you can flash with
fastboot flash recovery recovery.img
fastboot boot recovery.img
will temporarily boot but not flash recovery.
