Hey, my D855 is running cm13 now. I can access recovery mode but whenever I try to boot into download mode I get " secure booting error". Any fix for this ?
Is your device rooted and custom recovery is installed? If so then which recovery and version it is. Are you able to boot into system. Tell whole detail.

Hi guys
I am trying to install the latest TWRP, but every time that I try to boot into recovery through "adb reboot recovery" the phone restarts and I see the android maintenance logo.
What I did up to now:
1) I unlocked the bootloader following LG site instructions successfully. I have the bootloader unlocked message.
2) Downloaded TWRP to my windows PC for H815. After doing "fastboot flash recovery twrp-3.0.2-0-h815.img", the result seems to be successful as I get the expected OK message.
3) I try to reboot to TWRP through "adb reboot recovery" but every time goes to the maintainance logo. I tried also the button combination but I cannot see the Factory Reset menu or the TWRP menu.
Just to mention that I was completely stock V20d without root at the beginning and that the phone boots fine for the moment.
Please help.
No one had my issue? I am still trying to install TWRP and I only manage to boot it temporarily from the PC..

twrp needs to be flashed from within twrp. First boot twrp:
> fastboot boot twrp.img
Now you install the image as recovery.

I think this was the first issue, but after I should also remove the "read only" from TWRP in order to keep it in the recovery.

Not quite right. You can flash twrp image from twrp recovery. No need for a zip.

install latest update it will fix recovery or flash it manually
I'm having a similar problem. I cannot boot into recovery or install any upgrades. Currently using UL-Z00A-WW-2.20.40.206-user.
Booting into the normal OS works fine. I can use the phone. But I cannot boot into recovery.
adb reboot recovery
... throws the phone into a bootloop. Recovery fails to load for some reason. I tried flashing different versions of TWRP, and the stock recovery.img, but nothing seems to work.

Do you mean you reach "download mode"?
Press power + vol down until you reach download mode, then choose reboot to bootloader, then from bootloader choose reboot to recovery.
Tell me what happens.
after chose reboot to recovery. phone restart and again show bootloader mode i click again reboot to recovery again same i think this recovery not match to my phone twrp-3.0.2-6-pme.img

If you have Android N, twrp atm won't work!

Hello guys,
I think I ****ed up. My recovery mode isn't working anymore, after I tried to install an update while TWRP was installed. I tried to flash it with TWRP and also with the stock recovery image. It doesn't help, the screen stays black after I try to boot into recovery mode. I flashed the recovery partition about a hundred times by now. It's still not working. The stock system (Oxygen 3.5.2) and fastboot is working, but in order to update Oxygen, I apparently need a working recovery mode.
I don't care about the data on the phone - I just want a working recovery mode . Can you guys help?
Regards
Which TWRP did you use? Why are you even on 3.5.2 that's some sold stuff.

I think it was TWRP 3.0.2.1. To be honest: I can't tell you how I ended up with 3.5.2, because I did a lot of weird stuff yesterday to fix the problem...
You need modified TWRP
Try this:
Fastboot erase recovery
Fastboot flash recovery modified-recovery.img

unlock bootloader and retry that step untill you can get custom recovery.
I mean, you may need to reflash recovery image many times.

i got it . you have to go straight into recovery mode right after you flash it , ie dont reboot phone first .
