Is there a way to change the folder/place where the screenshot is automatically saved?
To be clear, I know you can easily move the picture after its saved, I want to change the default save location.
(I don't want to save the shot then move it, just auto save it to a new folder)

I am trying to specify the path to where my photos are "\internal storage\my documents\my pictures" however the titanium pictures menu points to the phone storage and NOT the 4GB.
Does anyone know a way to change this? I've used the advanceconfig software to change the default location to the 4GB but this had no effect.
Thanks in advance!
I dont like this solution but it works:
Move the My Pictures folder to the root of the Internal Storage and call it pictures
So, the next issue is, how do I get the default storage location for the camera changed to the new pictures folder ? ?

Thanks, but I tried already and the camera still saves in the default /internalstorage/my documents/my pictures/ folder...
I think I am doing that correct - I changed the "default location for pictures..."
@diselboy:
Have you changed ( Camera / Save Location ) with ( location for pictures ) and soft - reset ?
Hey, thanks for your help.
Under the advance-config software / Camera, it only gives me the option to select either;
1. My Pictures
2. DCIM (default)
I've tried both with the location "Default location for image files" set to the new folder of \internalstorage\Pictures
I've no idea what else to change. I even looked through the registry and had no luck there either
Ideally, I would prefer the titanium today screen to show the photos from My Documents/Pictures...
I tend to switch roms a lot and I use FPSC imulator. I was wondering if there was a way to carry over my saved files to my other roms.. I f so what files would I need to save or move? Any input would be much appreciated.
Titanium Backup
change the save state directory to a location on your sd card, start the app on the new rom, then change the location back to the same location.

What you do is:
menu > settings > tap save states > navigate through the menu of the folder where you want it > once in the folder, press the back button, it should return you to the settings menu, but under save states, you'll see the path you set it to, then hit save default.
THEN use a file manager to read the .fpse folder on the system, look in the data, then copy the save file to ^ folder you set it to. That way it'll save/load from there.

I have a bunch of files here I use as wallpaper and I want to use them again on the One X. I have resize them already. I just want to use them now on the phone.
I transferred them into the "My Documents" folder in USB storage but when I tried to change the wallpaper it seems there's no way to specify a custom location. Probably something I don't know as I just got my first Android yesterday. I was coming in from the 4s.
Searching the net didn't turn up anything useful.
Thanks!

where do I do that? I tried gallery and it doesn't work.

I'm using cm10 and I can see the images now BUT when I want to make it my wallpaper (I'm using settings), it wants me to crop it. I believe the images are in the right size already. 720x1280 resolution.
Am I doing something wrong? thanks!

You need to use a file browser however. Something that should be the first thing you explain to new user of Android They will need to download one of these from the Play store.
Seriously though the easiest step for a new user, just connect the phone to your computer and move the pictures you put on the HTC Storage into the Pictures folder. Done......

Wrong resolution. The wallpaper scrolls. Google is your friend...

I just use the Personalise option to change wallpaper and select the one on my SD card I want to use and then drag the border about to select the whole picture. I store my wallpaper in a folder called 'Wallpaper' (original eh?) on the root of the SD card

Well, now, I do the same. I even picked the same folder name. Who'd a thunk it eh?
Just worth mentioning that you can only select the whole picture if it's the right aspect ratio to start with as the aspect ratio of the selected area is fixed.
Apparently 1440x1280 is optimal!
Do I need to root the phone first ?
Is there a way to modify the apk or add a setting for choosing the directory of the .mcr save file? the reason I ask is I am trying to keep my memory card synced with dropbox between my PC and phone so I never have to worry about forgetting to transfer my save. So being able to select the dropbox folder as the .mcr save location would be great!
Thanks.
I'm using the stock messaging app and every time I try to save an attachment it tries to save it as attachment_2 and then tells me that unless I want to overwrite the other file I'll have to rename this one. How do I get it so that it automatically changed the name of the attachment so that I don't have to go through those steps? I want to just say save attachment and have it automatically name it the next one. please help!
There's no way man.. just add a different number letter period what ever you want and it will save it.. that's what I do zero problems!!
You would have to be experienced with smali editing and would bave to modify the MMS.apk app
