[ROM] [Touch Wiz 4.4.2] [Test Rom 1.2] [T0LTEXX - T0LTETMO] - T-Mobile Samsung Galaxy Note II

First of all. I am not a developer. This was actually put together from my Note 2 using RootExplorer. Big thanks to @mattlowry for letting me use his Rom Of Thrones as a base to build this.
Features minimal S5 Apps.
-S5 Framework
-S5 Launcher
-S5 AccuWeather
-S5 Messaging
-S5 Keyboard
(Thanks to the E-Team for these ported apps)
(Other things I'm forgetting I'm sure)
The rest is Note2 Touch Wiz.
-Edited build.prop to show 4GLTE
-Edited /system/csc folder to show secondary symbols on the keyboard (credits and thanks to @ciphercodes)
-Advanced Power Menu
To keep the file as small as I could I removed some Google App that can be downloaded from the Play Store.
How To Flash
-Nandroid Backup (optional)
-TWRP 2.7 0.1 Recommended
- Wipe 3x (System, Data, Dalvik-Cache & Cache) (I also recommend wiping Internal SdCard - it is your responsibility to back-up any files you need from there)
-Reboot Back into Recovery
-Flash Rom
-Let it boot and do a quick setup. Also check if Camera works.
-Flash any add ons thats recommended.
Bugs:
-Being that this was created using my phone I couldnt figure out why Root will not stick. So you'll need to flash SuperSU after letting it boot the first time.
-Wifi ... if you're on the MD1 Bootloader then Wifi will not work. So flashing AGNi Kernel (recommended) or Dr.Ketans wifi patch will be necessary... If you're the MK7 Bootloader then Wifi should work.
-Messaging - Will FC when trying to send videos (I still havent successfully sent any videos from any Rom)
-extSdCard write is currently not working with stock Kernel. AGNi Kernel fixes it and there is flashable you can flash from the AGNi thread.
Any other bugs please feel free to post them..

As always.. I am not responsible for your device. Flashing this also voids your warranty. (Enter other funny not responsible quotes here)

Freezing Problem
I flashed this rom with CWM and now I'm getting freezing when the screen goes to sleep, when I go to turn back on and then swip screen is frozen. I also flashed AGNI Kernel.
Anyone else having this issue or anyone else experiencing this?
Might it be cause because I used CWM n not TWRP?
Can you only Flash with TWRP and then this won't happen?
Thanks in advance.

I used TWRP and haven't had issues at all. I also flashed AGNI... I dont know if there are any correlations between which recovery and freezing or SOD but TWRP is better imo anyways...lol
Few questions for you...
Did you do a clean flash?
Did you change any of the settings in AGNI?
Did you restore apps via titanium backup?
Tbh the last time I have your issue was when I undervolted to much.

What bootloader are you using? Also clean flashing is wiping Internal SDcard also. I used to get those but since I wipe my SD card it doesn't happen anymore.

I noticed this issue as well until i flash the agni reset zip. Its whenever you use the frandom RNG. Thats whats causing it.

In Cwm it will give you the option to wipe to install a new rom....Make sure you clear dalvik and cache since according to my experience Cwm makes it seem as if WIPE TO INSTALL NEW ROM it's all you need to doo...but you need to wipe separately dalvik and cache....

Haha yea hide it pro doesn't work messages don't get blocked for some reason only app that really works is shady sms

CyanogenMod 11.0
Android 4.4 KitKat
Here it is, freshly built off the source for our device
Enjoy KitKat in all it's glory!
Bugs are expected but major functions are all working, rock stable and good enough for daily driver
Working:
- Cell & data
- Camera & cam
- External SD card
- Mms
- Music & videos
- Wifi, Gps, Bluetooth
- Etc, pretty much everything
Known Bugs:
- Auto-rotation won't work for 20-30 seconds after you turn on the screen
- If you leave 4g in network settings, you can't get back to it only 2g and 3g options are there
- Stock AOSP Keyboard FCs for some users when you swipe, using Google Keyboard from the play store fixes the issue
- You tell us
Instructions *READ CAREFULLY*:
1 - Install CWM recovery. Rom Manager app is good for that (TWRP needs update you will have no signal flasthing with it)
2 - Wipe clean
3 - Flash ROM
4 - Flash Gapps
5 - Flash W03Tweaks for maximum experience
In developer options you can turn on ART runtime, blazing fast! For it you have to use odexed Gapps, link below
With ART you will loose Superuser root access. Download and flash SuperSU to fix the issue, link below

I present to you W03Tweaks, an all-in-one performance and battery pack made for our t0lte CM11 builds, with the hardware of our device in mind. You flash it in recovery after the rom and gapps, grant root to Seeder and enjoy the ultimate speed. Everything there is to optimize is optimized, killer combo with ART turned on!
The way it's build makes it compatible with current and future versions of the rom, simply re-flash it when you update the rom / gapps
Info about Seeder entropy generator: http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=1987032
What's in there:
CM11 W03Tweaks v1.01 - 20 nov 2013
- Boosted headphone volume. Let's say our hardware capability is 0db, stock CM value was -7db, and our new value is +3db. So +10db boost. Note at full volume you might get a bit of audio clipping if your music is loud and well peaked, just take it down a notch
CM11 W03Tweaks v1.00 - 16 nov 2013
- Simplified multi-core handling
- Tweaks to PegasusQ governor, for optimal speed and battery
- ROW default CPU scheduler
- Seeder entropy generator, to replenish the pool of random data need by the UI
- Disabled gentle-fair sleepers = better deep sleep
- AFTR+LPA sleep mode = better deep sleep
- 2048kb storage read-ahead = better sd cards performance
- Fixed Android 4.3+ possible battery drain related to gsiff_daemon
- Built-in ad-block host file
- Optimised gps.conf = more solid and faster GPS lock
- OTA android 4.4 media sounds (ringtones, alarms, notif, etc.)
- Samsung Note 2 media sounds
- Greater virtual memory values for our big 2gb RAM
- Slower wifi scan = better battery
- Other deep sleep tweaks
- Disabled useless error-checking (logcat still works)
- Optimized mobile data connection (TCP buffers and fixed radio settings)
- Enabled AMR wideband calls for carriers that supports it
- Replaced Dialer and Telephony icon with Google OTA icons

This thing is solid, no hiccups, smooth transitions, and fast! I got stuck with the wrong version of cwm I tried the touch version rather than the original volume rocker and power button combo version, and the flash failed repeatedly. Twrp was just updated so anybody who's a fan could update and try to flash with that recovery but of course not having done so myself it's just an idea!
Please hit "thanks" as I have low self esteem and crave validation from strangers.

Tried the new TWRP and no signal bars sadly. Could be because Ive got the N7105 model. But could flash other other Roms and restore backups okay on new TWRP but yeah no signal. Only" bug" people should really run into is when using ART titanium backup and whatsapp will fc as soon as you try to open them. Everything else seems rock solid. Cheers to Will for bringing out some Kit Kat loving for the masses. Hehehehehe

If anyone is interested these Mods work with CM11 nightlies.

This will mod the battery percentage and the clock. Using the Deodex versions works with CM11.
http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=2163866
These inverted apps work as well. Hangouts works fantastically.
http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=2357072
And if you want come cool transition effects these work. Just make sure you have busybox installed before you flash.

INDEX
Post #2 - Mods and screenshots

I`m not responsable for anything that may happen with your data / phone / life!!
Your warranty will be lost flashing rom/cwm/kernel/mod so think twice before!
If you don`t know what you`re doing maybe the best is to avoid it.
Roms are fully stock with minor changes:
-fully deodexed
-zipaligned
-fully rooted + busybox
-removed some of the bloat.

Install:
-put downloaded zip to sdcard
-flash cwm recovery if you don`t have - view #2 post
-make a full backup because you may lose your data!!
-in recovery choose 'install zip' and navigate to rom`s zip location
-wait till done*
-wipe cache/dalvik**
-reboot system
*no need to format system because rom has format script built in
**you can try without fully wipe to not lose your data but device may be laggy. If that wipe data/cache/dalvik.
For stock firmware flashing see this:
First of all make a free account on http://www.sammobile.com/firmwares/ and download from there device specific firmware (s6810/p/B/L/E or s6812)
After that download Odin 3.07 from here, run Odin as administrator and put the firmware under the PDA tab without modifying any settings. Put the phone in download mode and flash the firmware. After flashing let it Reboot. It will reboot first on recovery to apply the csc and after will reboot normally and it will bootloop. When the bootloop comes pull out the battery for 30 secs, then put it back and boot into recovery using 3 button combo (vol.up+home+power). When you reach to recovery make a full wipe (data/cache) and reboot.

MODS
This mods are working only in deodexed roms and only on single sim devices.
For now it`s only 4 way reboot wich i didn`t added to rom and accuweather widget from s4 100% transparent.
More in few days i hope.
I included a reverse zip for 4 way reboot - If something isn`t as should flash to go back to stock reboot menu.

I tried to flash it again and it states that it installed OK but no change.
I tried installing the restore zip and rebooting and then re - installing the power menu zip but no change.
It's not a big issue to me, would just stop me forgetting if it's "home-power-volume-down" or "home-power-volume-up"... LOL. I always forget.

Hmmmmmm after rebooting a 2nd time the boot menu mod works perfectly.
Awesome work.

Aha but by experimenting you're taking the first steps You'll be a fully fledged developer in no time.
But nice work in the meantime
tried with no succes new cwm.. got me to bootloop.. still trying to find the source of the first cwm.. the user or the git.. if someone knows something please tell me.. would make it easier than playing lottery with scripts till find the right one..
i'm thinking a while to focus on more mods and optimising things. is still a usable cwm. for the usb mount bug i suggest getting an usb card reader as i have and for the backups keep accounts synced and use titanium..
Edit: i read on cwm thread that *dup backups are working.. but not tested.. anyone can confirm?

Introduction
The Lego Rom was initially based on CyanogenMod, but now it's based on SlimRoms. The team members are me, cameron581, timpohladthomas, deadman96385,sajoeee aka hamster and Kiltnar. Our source can be found here. We are just starting so we may not support a lot of devices. If you would like to be a maintainer, just pm me or any team member.

-Support for pause/resume/stop download notifications
-Show download speeds in notification
-LegoStats, and LegoOTA
-There is a lot more than this, i will be making the full list soon, but for now you just have to test and see!

ill download the rom right away and give it a try. Im trying anything i can to get my sprint phone to work. even up to and including getting booted from the network, after all I live less than 250 feet from the tower( it is literally in my back yard) and still cant get calls to work and data rarely works, texts take 2 hours to send)
cant wait to see how the rom looks, always interested in supporting a new dev. Id be happy to be a tester and report back bugs im usually on my phone 10 hours a day so get lots of use

PA can run on KK Baseband but I think this Rom is not.
After all the issues I took my phone back too complete stock via kdz and tot, I upgraded all the way to KitKat baseband, used ioroot, and autorec to root and custom recovery, I then flashed my ROM. I have experienced none of the issues. Users having issues please provide a logcat. Also you should be using twrp to flash this ROM. Rom and gapps should only be flashed during install. No additional files.

Once your phone is SGH-M919 I would suggest you check your USB or even flash NK2 on another computer. It takes a while to boot for the first time. It takes about 25 minutes. I did not have that challenge. You may also consider redownloading the Flashable .Tar Odin file. Wishing you the very best!

Hey Nana you are on NK2 bootloader and baseband, which is kitkat right? How well does this lollipop rom perform with KitKat firmware? I ask because I experience not as snappy performance and some lags here and there but the main issue is the 1080p YouTube lag. I tried most kernels but the one kernel was made the rom perform "better" was AEL kernel 4.4 but the YouTube lag stayed the same. My question is didyou experience the same?
hello guys, what TWRP lastest version you are using? i have version 2.8.5.0 and i noticed that latest version is 2.8.6.0 but no matter how may times i tried to install the latest one, i still have the 2.8.5.0. why? do u guys have any latest zip i can flashed? tia.
I always install with Odin. Always works for me that way.

Thank you for looking into it for me
Version 2.0 is out for the I9505, can I install that I9505 version and maybe change the CSC to upgrade? Or do other things need to be modified to port for our SGH-M919?
How much storage did you guys have when you first flashed? It says I have 6.77gb available and system takes up 6.26gb and on used space it says I've used 2.95gb on apps and I've only downloaded about 5 each under 30mb and I did a clean wipe before flashing. Is this normal? On kitkat 4.4.4 I would get around 9.5gb of free storage

Rom Installation
Before You Start:
Backup EVERYTHING you want to save from internal storage.
Stage 1:
** Skip to STAGE 2 if OEM Unlock has already been done **
Preparing the stock rom
** This is REQUIRED
• In the stock rom, turn on developer mode, enable USB debugging and OEM Unlock
• Settings>>>about device>>> scroll to bottom and tap build number 8 times
now press back button once and tap developer options...
• Toggle on both USB debugging and OEM Unlock.
[WARNING] Do not EVER turn these off or your phone will not boot and you will be forced to reflash back to factory build with odin.
Stage 2:
** Skip to STAGE 3 if already running a custom recovery / TWRP, Philz, Etc **
Install TWRP Custom Recovery with Odin
• Download Odin & custom recovery tar
Odin for download mode
twrp-3.2.1-0-zerofltespr.img.tar
• Extract Odin zip-file
• Power down the phone
• Open Odin on pc
• Boot phone in Download Mode (press and hold Home + Power + Volume Down buttons)
• Connect phone and wait until you get a blue sign in Odin
• Add the recovery file to AP / PDA (depending on version of Odin)
• Make sure re-partition & Auto Reboot are NOT ticked
• Click the start button and let the Odin flash complete
Stage 3:
• Boot the phone into Recovery Mode
- Press and hold volume down+power to reboot and as soon as the phone screen flashes, press and hold Home+Power+Volume Up buttons
to get into recovery. The timing has to be right but I'm sure you'll get the hang of it.
• If TWRP asks, the answer is yes, swipe to allow modifications. It will only ask you this once.
• Do a FULL wipe but do not reboot yet (wipe/advanced wipe)
A full wipe includes:
Dalvik Cache
Cache
Data
System
• Flash rom and reboot.
** Custom Roms may take about 10 minutes to get to the setup screen, so be patient.
-----------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
Known Issues:
Code:
• Some themes may crash UI
• Not all Edge features work on our phone
• Left & Center statusbar clock do not hide on the lockscreen
• The custom Lockscreen Clock will not display properly with custom themes
Toggle it off with RomControl
• Stock battery icon does not darken when using a light app
• Audio path panel is not themeable in pulldown
AFAIK, it only appears when an external audio device is connected.
• Custom themes may not display properly in the pulldown notication panel with custom colors enabled.
Utilize the stock colors toggle in Rom Control to use custom theme view.
Switching between custom and stock themes may require a UI reset or reboot to display properly.
• You will trip Knox (NOT THIS ROMS FAULT)
• Flashing stock rom might cause loss of sim/phone unlock (again NOT THIS ROMS FAULT)
Thanks to
@tdhite for allowing to add his kernel
@Xda for teaching me all that I know

I did a clean install from TWRP.
The wifi disconnects every time I restart like it doesn't remember the password.
After I first installed, the audio was really low and scratchy over 20%. I tried to flash the audio fix from TWRP but it said no md5 found (right before it said success). Magisk wouldn't install it. I'm not sure what that means but now I have no sound at all. Do I need to extract it first?
What is the best way to keep it updated?
Other than that everything else so far works fine. I'm going to try to get the APN settings to work with my t-mobile card if anyone has any tricks. Thanks for all the hard work putting this together!:good:
Edit: I have been trouble shooting, and twice I have heard music (that I have been playing in the background) come through the speaker for just a split second. Also the sound works fine in the headphones.
