I`m not responsable for anything that may happen with your data / phone / life!!
Your warranty will be lost flashing rom/cwm/kernel/mod so think twice before!
If you don`t know what you`re doing maybe the best is to avoid it.
Roms are fully stock with minor changes:
-fully deodexed
-zipaligned
-fully rooted + busybox
-removed some of the bloat.

-make a full backup because you may lose your data!!
-in recovery choose 'install zip' and navigate to rom`s zip location
-wait till done*
-wipe cache/dalvik**
-reboot system
*no need to format system because rom has format script built in
**you can try without fully wipe to not lose your data but device may be laggy. If that wipe data/cache/dalvik.
For stock firmware flashing see this:
First of all make a free account on http://www.sammobile.com/firmwares/ and download from there device specific firmware (s6810/p/B/L/E or s6812)
After that download Odin 3.07 from here, run Odin as administrator and put the firmware under the PDA tab without modifying any settings. Put the phone in download mode and flash the firmware. After flashing let it Reboot. It will reboot first on recovery to apply the csc and after will reboot normally and it will bootloop. When the bootloop comes pull out the battery for 30 secs, then put it back and boot into recovery using 3 button combo (vol.up+home+power). When you reach to recovery make a full wipe (data/cache) and reboot.

MODS
This mods are working only in deodexed roms and only on single sim devices.
For now it`s only 4 way reboot wich i didn`t added to rom and accuweather widget from s4 100% transparent.
More in few days i hope.
I included a reverse zip for 4 way reboot - If something isn`t as should flash to go back to stock reboot menu.

Am using this ROM now. Nice and smooth compared to stock.
The only thing I don't see is the tweaked power screen, mine is still the normal stock one.

I tried to flash it again and it states that it installed OK but no change.
I tried installing the restore zip and rebooting and then re - installing the power menu zip but no change.
It's not a big issue to me, would just stop me forgetting if it's "home-power-volume-down" or "home-power-volume-up"... LOL. I always forget.

Yup it says optimising app and then goes through the list up to 200-and-something and then finishes booting.

Gonna try this when my net limit resets and can you make a odin flashable cwm? I've tried something on the build.prop and it got me bootlooped and i don't have any backup and can't connect my phone to pc due to USB mount bug.
Hmmmmmm after rebooting a 2nd time the boot menu mod works perfectly.
Awesome work.
Everything is running smoothly.

Aha but by experimenting you're taking the first steps You'll be a fully fledged developer in no time.
But nice work in the meantime
tried with no succes new cwm.. got me to bootloop.. still trying to find the source of the first cwm.. the user or the git.. if someone knows something please tell me.. would make it easier than playing lottery with scripts till find the right one..
i'm thinking a while to focus on more mods and optimising things. is still a usable cwm. for the usb mount bug i suggest getting an usb card reader as i have and for the backups keep accounts synced and use titanium..
Edit: i read on cwm thread that *dup backups are working.. but not tested.. anyone can confirm?
cheers!

Briefing
So, I've realised that in every single Gingerbread ROM thread, the developers are writing that to install their ROM you must be on Ginger or you have to flash whole XXJVK ROM via ODIN (about 150MB to download), if you're using any kind of Froyo now. When I was doing new version of my DebusROM, I've invited simple method to install the needed bootloaders and kernel with CWM.
How it works?
Method is simple. You just need to flash a small 8MB file via ODIN. It will flash Primary Bootloader, Secondary Bootloader (needed for Gingerbread) and the kernel with CWM recovery. The next step is to flash the ROM you want. It is much faster and light weight method than flashing the WHOLE JVK Gingerbread. It was tested by me in a few circumstances and It works!
Download
There is one version available, which is the most stable and safe one.
Gingerbread Starter with SpeedMOD K13E [DOWNLOAD]
ODIN version 1.7 [DOWNLOAD]
INSTALLATIONFirst of all, I'm not responsible for any black scenarios. This thing flashes bootloader, if it fails it means you have trouble. But don't worry it shouldn't
1. Download the right version from section above
2. Reboot your phone into Download mode
3. Connect your phone to computer
4. Run ODIN
5. Select Gingerbread_Starter_KERNEL_ODIN.tar.md5 as a PDA file in ODIN
6. Check the "Phone Bootloader Update" checkbox
7. Click Start
8. Wait until phone reboots and make it reboot into Recovery
9. Flash your Gingerbread ROM
10. Simple, isn't it?
Below, this is how should look ODIN before flash

You MUST check if Download Mode works or not, and if you can boot into recovery or not If Download mode works just flash bootloaders once again via ODIN, then flash ROM via Recovery. If recovery works, flash the ROM.

Rom:
I present tFD24 rom.
1. Touch of ICS theme by Tiffany84
2. Added AOSP gallery for nice widget
3. Changed settings background to GNex scaled grey (thanks Ben's for help and research)
4. Changed touch sound to GNex sound (thanks Ben's for help and research)
5. Removed boot sound
5. Silenced Camera.apk as much as I could. It does make sound only when getting focus. No shutter sound, no recording sound on video.
6. Removed stock boot animation
7. Added International SGS II Boot animation.
8. Added app to switch between MTP and USB storage.
9. Removed bloatware.
Added tweaks:
1. Added VM managment.
2. Internet speed
3. Battery tweaks in buid.prop and in init.d
4. Kernel tweaks in init.d (hope it works as planned).
5. Low memory management.
6. Tweak to help phone to go to deep sleep when idle.
If you need tether you should fall back to wifi tether for root users for now.
Installation instructions:
1. Download rom zip file.
2. Download modem zip file (optional)
3. Copy files to root of your sd card
4. Boot into recovery.
5. Do a NAND back up (optional but strongly recomended).
6. If you still running any GB build flash/apply Calkulin's format all zip. This step can be skipped if you running ICS builds. I have tried flashing this rom over FD10 ICS rom and had no problems. Also I have flashed rom after using Calk's format all script. No problems either.
7. Apply rom zip in recovery.
8. Apply modem zip in recovery.
9. Boot to system.
tFD24_v0.1.0
1. http://d-h.st/Y0k Odexed Rom.
2. http://d-h.st/TMG Deodexed Rom
Rom comes with Team Rogue FD02 repacked kernel with CWM recovery and init.d support.
If you want to run completely stock themed rom here is zip file to flash stock
FD24 kernel:
http://d-h.st/zv1 Stock FD24 kernel (no CWM recovery)
Please note that if you flash this kernel init.d scripts will not run and you will not have some of the tweaks.
I made a flashable zip for modem for those of you who want to flash it in recovery.
You can download modem here:
http://d-h.st/Gch
Here are links to removed app zip files:
1. http://d-h.st/sow Removed Odexed Apps.
2. http://d-h.st/KDQ Removed DeOdexed Apps.
If you want any of removed apps back download the zip file. Delete any app you don't want from /system/app folder using 7z and flash rest of it in recovery.
Please note if you are on odexed rom with any app you delete you should delete the .odex file as well.

I will not be held responsible if any mishaps while/after flashing will occur (please follow the instructions posted here to avoid issues). This Rom may or may not work for you, therefore please don't expect full compatibility on all firmware versions (custom/stock). But theoretically it should work on all stock roms.
By flashing this rom, you must understand that the developer reserves the right to add/omit some apps, please make sure you do a backup of your apps and a nandroid backup to restore previous installed apps.
Lastly, you as an Android user must understand that rom development takes time and effort, therefore requests may or may not be addressed quickly but please feel free to review and send bug reports so I can sort it out by releasing update fixes.

Hi,
I'm sure that i did all right but i stuck in bootloop.
Maby the rom is not good.
Any way thanks for sharing with us.
Thanks for this rom, even though it doesn't seem to work for any users. Flashed it using CMW, following your steps 3 times and flashed it with Stock recovery 2 times. None worked. Hopefully, (thanks to you), I had a NANDroid backup and still can use my phone. Thanks a lot for your time and effort and I hope the next beta will work.
BTW, I was in stock rom.
Excuse me, I have this telephone and I waited for months a custom rom. Will you add italian language? I'll also wait for a stable one, before installing it.

Guys, seriously hit thanks button of first post of developer!!!
For this phone there is very less people as HCFroyd247 (developers).. And you guys should be grateful for them.. I'm grateful for anyone who creates Rom for my 6102! as its really hard job.. Believe me I'm trying to do it myself..
He doesn't need your thanks to develop this Rom.. But it helps morally to see appreciation.. Even if Rom is not booting now.. He has made an effort to create custom Rom for you guys..
So please be more appreciative.. You won't loose anything by hitting thanks button... And then you can ask him to fix things not before..
Only 1 thanks??? That too from GT-S6102 phone user!! Very bad friends... So from now on first thank dev's.. Then politely suggest features to add or fix!!
Because they are not doing for themselves.. They are doing it for YOU!!
hit thanks button! if above post helps u..

Hey keep calm, I'm new here. I didn't know there's a "thanks button". I'll do it

Ok… Let’s Go !!!
This tutorial wants to help everyone who needs to install Trinity Vengeance RaptorXL™ Rom on Xperia S phones with LOCKED BOOTLOADER.
Hope it helps someone, if you like or it helped you leave you Thanks on the button. :cyclops:
1. Prepare your phone
Get your phone Rooted and install CWM, on my case I was on Doomlord’s Rooted Rom so what I did was to install CWM.
Doomlord also took care of this tutorial, so simply check this post: http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?p=42164128
My procedure ran over JB, so the way to enter CWM is to press VOL Up when the blue led turns on during boot (if you entered cwm led will turn green)

}
2. On CWM , my advice is to allways make a clean install, so you need to Wipe Data, Cache and Dalvik Cache (on Advanced Options)
Now you can start! Choose to Install Zip from SD Card and select your Trinity Rom File.
ATTENTION: As referred, at this point you need to place your phone on a very stable position! During this tutorial I could only enter Aroma installer on the 4Th Try.
If your Aroma Installer does not start on 20 seconds, you have to press power button and Vol+ for 5 seconds so the phone turns and re-start the procedure to enter CWM.
3. AROMA Installer
If you got into Aroma you will now navigate using the Vol + and Vol-
Choose your options for apps, google apps, launcher… and the most important KERNEL. If you have Locked Bootloader you have to be sure to choose NO KERNEL.
Your Rom will be prepared for installation, so after you press next the flashing will begin!
4. First Boot
On this stage phone will be act like crazy … You will have to be patient… and pray for a little bit
On my case phone was on the animation boot and full blank screen for 5 complete minutes
5. Success!
If everything went ok, you will be on PIN menu… or first boot setup
If you had no success, don’t get down… go to flashtool… and start again!
I can assure you that IT DOES WORK
If you have any doubts, leave them on this thread, I will not reply to PM about this.
The idea is to help each others, no need to have private support.
Best Regards to You All !!!

Unless Trinity changes a lot on aroma installer, the tutorial works b on every version.
Nevertheless this was made with 2.3 version that b is .211 based.

Unable to install
Hello,
I'm looking forward to using this ROM on my Xperia S with locked bootloader
It'll be my first android custom ROM. Unfortunatly I'm not able to install it it seems.
I came from the stock rom jellybean 0.200 from my provider in the netherlands.
I succesfully rooted the my Xperia S using Doomlord easy rooting toolkit and then installed CWM Recovery 6.0.3.0 for {JB} LOCKED bootloader by cray_Doze
After that i restarted my phone. It gave the service logo, and then it booted. After that i shut the phone down en booted into CWM. I then whiped /cache /data and the dalvik cache. after that I went to install from SD and chose trinity rom v2.9
The aroma installer started and after chosing no kernel (locked bootloader) and xperia s (locked bootloader) in the installer the installer ran succesfully. After the reboot via aroma (and once also without the reboot check and then an auto reboot by cwm) It hangs at the SONY logo when booting. I'm also not able to enter CWM by pressing vol+ (makes sense I guess because there's not blue led)
I've tried this multiple times, after reinstalling the stock jellybean via the flashtool. It never progresses beyond the SONY logo though. Any help here would be apprecieted, since I'm new at XDA and cant post at the dev thread yet..

FAQ's
WARNING:
FLASHING MC2 RECOVERY WILL REQUIRE YOU TO ODIN A NEW RECOVERY
Q: TWRP/CWM is giving error XYZ?
A: Update to latest recovery, redownload file & check MD5, reinstall.
Q: Why doesn't this include modem XYZ?
A: Because I felt like it.
Q: Will this work on...
A: Stop. No, just the L900, & I've only tested on Twhiz. I havent tested on CM but I'm sure it's fine. CM folks please test & report.
Q: I read an error in Aroma saying modem not installed, what do I do?
A: Try again, if issue presists use a diffrent modem until you can get the one you want working. Also look here.
As long as the MD5 checks out it's probably a borked script. A damn comma I bet!
Q: My question isn't in the FAQ or thread?
A: Cry about it. :silly:
MOD Q: Why did you post this here? PREPARE TO BE MOVED!
A: Hold on fair and accurate Moderator, in the rules I felt it was conveying apks and themes, & this is firmware.

Great idea but damn pain to try and download. Got to jump through to many hoops. Got tired of trying to find the actual download and gave up. FYI you might want to find a better host before mods close this down.

If you remember the internet BEFORE high speed dsl and ATT, it used MODEMS. The modem in your phone does the same functions... So this will UPDATE you to the latest and newest modem for your phone... May I suggest SEARCH... although I dummed it down for you google search or xda search would have told you this...

Awesome! (SlimKat4.4 also) I'm about to do the same.
Yes it worked. From SlimKat 4.4
1. Copied Zip into external SD Card.
2. Held power menu and chose boot to Recovery. (ClockWork Recovery)
(In CWM)
3. Cleared Cache.
4. Advanced > Wipe Dalvik Cache
5. Install Zip
6. Agreed to Walter White's terms.
7. Install finishes before seeing 100%, restarted at 90% for me.
8. Baseband shows MK4
Thanks
