[Q] Screen sleep of death - T-Mobile Samsung Galaxy Note II

Hi, got a SGH-T889 with the back lit led screen keep go out once in deep sleep (happen over night or after not using for a period of time). This can happen during charging or not charging, the phone is cold or warm, its environment warm or cold.
Detail steps of issue:
-Press the Wake/Power button, screen and backlit buttons lit up for a micro of second and turned off.
-Any button or combination of buttons pressed will wake the phone.
-Pull battery and pop it right back in, phone turn on but screen and backlit buttons lit up for a micro of second and turned off. The phone still function.
-Pull battery and leave it out for a minute, pop battery back in.
-Phone wake and function normally until the next time it happen.
After problem, I've notice I've got some new files which I don't know what are they but they're seem to relate to the issue. See attached.
I'm running sammobile stock 4.3 ROM: T889UVCMK7
Phone is rooted, have teamwin touch recovery v2.7.0.1
Does anyone experience this? and hopefully have a solution.

[Q] Note II Died in my sleep! Possible SDS?

Right, I woke up today and had a look at my note 2, charging beside my bed, the notification light was flashing green (viber notification) but I had set 2 alarms to wake me and they hadn't gone off, but it does do that sometimes (or I sleep through them...not sure...)
Screen wouldn't turn on when I pressed power button, notification light continued to blink. Tried the home button: nothing. Tried plugging it in, which usually wakes up the screen: nothing. It has also done this before, and my solution (rightly or wrongly) was a battery pull, so I do that.
Now it wont turn on at all. No download mode, no recovery mode, no light when charging
Is this the Sudden Death Syndrome I have read a bit about? Not sure if my model/firmware was susceptible and they symptoms seem different to other (they usually still get a light when charging)
Is there anything I can do or try before sending it away for repair? I'm worried since it's rooted they won't fix it! I was using AllianceROM N7100 DMC3 V3.0
Any help/suggestions are appreciated, thanks in advance!

Phone seems to turn on, but screen completely dark.

Hi,
My S4 SGH-M919 is having a problem where it appears to turn on, charge, and boot to the OS, but there is no response from the screen. The bottom buttons illuminate but the screen doesn't want to turn on. I've tried removing the battery and holding the power button down for an X-number of seconds, but this doesn't seem to do the trick.
Any ideas?
Thanks.
With the phone powered off, connect the phone to the charger. If you see the charging animation, sounds to me like the screen may be damaged or the LCD/motherboard connector is loose.
Was the phone every dropped or bumped?

Note 5 with serious issues: Screen dim (Almost unreadable), battery icon center

I was given a Note 5 to fix. I do not know the history of the device. If a Android update was attempted or why it is needing to be fixed. It presented with a very dim (almost unreadable, except in completely dark room) screen. I have wiped cache and master reset the device. I can see that the powered off battery icon is center screen all the time and it is solid black. I cannot power it off via the normal power button but I can power it on. I can power it off using the power button + volume down. The touchscreen is responsive and not cracked or broken at all. The back, multi and home buttons react normally to touch and light up. When plugged into power or PC, it does charge and will show a red LED when charging and a green LED when battery is full. The sounds are normal as far as I can tell. I cannot get the screen to change when I swipe or press a center button. I was able to get a picture of a begrizzled man peering closely at the phone trying to figure out what the hell the problem is. So, softwarewise, some of it seems to be working. But, I cannot figure out the dim screen. Like I said earlier, there no cracks or even scratches in either glass, front or back. The bottom portion of the stylus is broken, but I was able to use a tiny phillips head to stick up in the open area and it working. I get a sound and vibration when it is removed and inserted.
Any ideas?

For some reason when the phone detects that the battery is under 5%, it will forcibly dim the screen until it is charged above 5% or plugged in. Maybe the phone thinks that the battery is at or below 5%. Have you tried plugging it into a power source to see if the screen lights up?

Update #1 - Somehow, without knowing how, I managed to turn on an Accessibility option for the phone to tell me what buttons or actions I have taken. Unfortunately for it is in Spanish. I guess I should have taken Spanish in high school...

Yes, I have plugged it to the wall, I have plugged it to my PC and I have wireless charged it. It seems to charge to full as the red LED turns green.

Frozen SW3 Greyed out screen, non responsive. Won't turn off/on or reboot

My SW3 ran to about 10%, I went to turn the brightness down before recharging and the screen greyed out (the brightness adjustment menu item is just about visible, no backlight).
The screen is non-responsive and I suspect the watch is actually off with a residual image on the screen. I can't turn it on or reboot by holding the power button down.
Plugged in now for 2.5h, no signs of life and still won't turn on.
What now? is this a recognised issue?, will it come back to life if I keep it plugged in or should I be doing something else.

Okay, 5 different cables later, and finally the phone vibrated once and is now charging having blanked it's screen of the residual greyed out screen. Whether this was due to the battery fully draining or the right cable who knows.

Screen stays black until the device is restarted

Hi guys, having some trouble with my tablet. Started out of nowhere, but the screen doesn't light up until the device has been fully restarted, in which case once you lock the screen, the problem starts all over again and I have to restart it again. It also lights up when the device is off and the power cord is plugged in, but only briefly. Once it goes away, I can't use the power button or anything else to check the status of charging, only thing that works is unplugging it and plugging back in. It's still sensitive to the touch, there's haptic feedback, capacitive buttons work, it just stays black most of the time. Has anybody else had this issue and knows how to fix it? It came out of nowhere, the device is not rooted, haven't dropped it or anything. Thanks in advance
