Nothing works
That's why I came back to stock, MTP is slow and often breaks the copying during the process. The way I see it, you can use the sd card reader for your PC if you have one, or put your sdcard in some other phone you have that runs android 2.3-4.3.

Phone stuck in Recovery (TWRP) OTG Transfer possible?

Hey guys.
So my phone stuck in TWRP screen cause like an idiot I accidently erased system files as well.
Now I tried to adb push a rom bout I tried everything and couldn't get my both mac/windows to recognize the device.
So I now got a OTG cable to connect my USB key which I transferred a rom to use, but how do I get TWRP to recognize my USB key? If I go to INSTALL > EXTERNAL CARD it will not let me click on it.
Thanks!
Can you just load the ROM on an external SD card ? You can flash it from the external card in twrp.

Yeah so I transferred a rom.zip to my SD card than I went into INSTALL on TWRP to locate the file externally but it will not allow me to access the external memory.
Put the device into download mode and flash stock ROM and reroot
(Thanks if helped)

Male sure your drivers are installed properly and you are using a micro USB cord that supports data. If not it wont see it. When you say it wont connect have you opened Odin to see if it sees your phone in a com port ?
Not sure why it won't see your ext SD card. What's the size of it ?

MTP issue

I'm still on stock 4.2.2 with root. But from sometime I can't connect my Sgh -m919 to Pc because of MPT which doesn't want to install . Everytime I get the message "failed to install mtp driver" . I tried a few solutions but didn't work. Anybody knows how to fix this? And another thing ,in the meanwhile I lost my root . And I can't root again my phone because i can't use Odin . There is a solution to root our device with a flashable zip (without odin) ?

Go to > My Computer > properties > Device Manager: Uninstall every where you see your phone model driver !
Plug your USB to you phone. Your PC will detect your phone & install new drivers.
Then you will be able to connect to your phone (also Odin)

I would start with restarting your computer and see if that helps.

Thanks for the reply. the fact that nobody answers my query means i am the only one that is having the problem.. maybe it is factory defect..
At least try using another computer, otherwise you will never be sure which end of the USB cable is at fault.

Ascend P6 - USB not working after update.

Hey all,
I've updated to B122 (International version) and since then the USB modes are not showing when I connect my cellphone to any computer with any cable, only charges.
Installed USB Drivers and everything (Windows 8 64 Bit)
HiSuite etc etc not working, tried enabling Debugging and Disabling it. Am downloading the Test B125 firmware to test it, can I downgrade to B118?
Instal

Yes, I''ve also tried different cables on different computers, same result.
I think I might have damaged the USB port on the mobile itself by accident or so .
If it's charging it's not damaged.

I know I can flash KK from Dload, am just scared that I won't be able to use Google apps if it turned out that it was a hardware issue not software.

Make sure USB Debug is enabled.
Use saferoot.zip. Much better way to root, and does not require flashing.
Thanks. Yea, debugging is enabled. Is there a link for saferoot?
Found Saferoot and it worked fine for this. Thanks.
