I would start with restarting your computer and see if that helps.

Thanks for the reply. the fact that nobody answers my query means i am the only one that is having the problem.. maybe it is factory defect..

At least try using another computer, otherwise you will never be sure which end of the USB cable is at fault.

Phone stuck in Recovery (TWRP) OTG Transfer possible?

Hey guys.
So my phone stuck in TWRP screen cause like an idiot I accidently erased system files as well.
Now I tried to adb push a rom bout I tried everything and couldn't get my both mac/windows to recognize the device.
So I now got a OTG cable to connect my USB key which I transferred a rom to use, but how do I get TWRP to recognize my USB key? If I go to INSTALL > EXTERNAL CARD it will not let me click on it.
Thanks!
Can you just load the ROM on an external SD card ? You can flash it from the external card in twrp.

Yeah so I transferred a rom.zip to my SD card than I went into INSTALL on TWRP to locate the file externally but it will not allow me to access the external memory.
Put the device into download mode and flash stock ROM and reroot

Male sure your drivers are installed properly and you are using a micro USB cord that supports data. If not it wont see it. When you say it wont connect have you opened Odin to see if it sees your phone in a com port ?
Not sure why it won't see your ext SD card. What's the size of it ?

Wi-Fi not working with any Rom

Any Rom I try to install won't recognize my Wi-Fi card in my tablet any body know the problem

What do you mean by 'Wi-Fi card in my tablet'? Do you mean your Nexus 7 won't recognise a wifi access point? If so, what standard is it a,b,g,n,ac etc. and what type of security (if any) do you have on the access point and is it broadcasting it's SSID? What band/channels is the access point set up to use?

Yes, I''ve also tried different cables on different computers, same result.
I think I might have damaged the USB port on the mobile itself by accident or so .
If it's charging it's not damaged.

TWRP 2.7.0.0

Could somebody please give me the link to TWRP 2.7.0.0 for the gt-n5110? I had it installed once and went back to 2.6.3.0 for some reason I don't recall right now but with that version I can't access my external USB drive for storage. I usually keep all my downloaded ROMs on my trusty USB to SD card adapter and pull right from that to flash a ROM. Thank you in advance.

I'm using 2.6.3.1 and find it works fine.

Can you plug in a USB adapter for SD cards and it will recognize it? Also, just to clarify, this is for the gt-n5110 because the link you gave me doesn't gives that information and I really don't want to have to Odin my tablet back to stock and re do it again. I do thank you for helping out.

Well I couldn't find anything on it so I just downloaded the file and flashed, My recovery tool picked it up right away as a recovery img. so I tried it out and viola, soft brick lol... Its a good thing I keep everything backed up now. Ever since I lost my ability to use custom ROMs on my note 2 from a Grand daughter incident, I keep stock ROMs and recoveries that I can flash via Odin.
Thank you anyways.

[Q] Tab 3 SM-T210 stuck in TWRP recovery

I flashed the StockKitkatRom_T210(R) rom and it lost its root, so I used Kingo Root to root it (which has worked for numerous phones for me previously) and when it rebooted the tablet I am now not able to get past Team Win Recovery Project no matter what I do! Does anybody know what to do?? Any help is deeply appreciated.

Do you have a backup??
I also had the same problem but it was when I went to recovery (TWRP) with app like Quick Boot or something. Backup done on TWRP or stock firmware flashed with Odin worked for me because everytime it was rebooting straight to recovery.
I had a backup but it disappeared and i have no idea how or where :/

i am still stuck there and no i don't have a micro sim adapter help !!!!!!!
I'm having this problem right now on my t110, seems to be a problem with this device and fast/quick boot apps from the threads I have read. No matter what rom I flash it boots right back into recovery. I even switched from CWM to TWRP to see if that would have an effect and it did not.
Downloading md5 from http://samsung-updates.com/device/?id=SM-T110 and will flash with ODIN and update if that works or not. Download is 3 hours from finished though lol.
Ok I fixed it. The firmware I got from a link in the description of this video: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=auRktH49aSM
I flashed the bootloader, code and CSC from the file with ODIN3 and it started up just fine.
