I make wipe and instal fresh OS, then I find "magazine" and delete it, but content home screen is still in TabS (widget is delete).

[Q] Change Google Accounts/Titanium Backup

Ok so, I'm looking to change my Google account, right after a full wipe and everything. But i want to keep all my apps and their data. So my question is...what do I need to select in Titanium to do this? I tried not restoring system data, but that didn't work. So i guess I'm wondering if there's some way I can still get most of my stuff back without getting the Google account settings back.

You go into titanium backup press menu/batch then pick the second option backup all user apps.
After you are backup after your wipe open titanium backup press menu/batch then pick the 9th option, restore missing apps with data then you should be good to go

[Q] Help removing stock apps

I just rooted my phone with unevoked 3. I read to install titanium backup to uninstall the phones apps like stocks, footsteps, ect. When i installed titanium backup, it says i dont have root. I know I do because i saw superroot permission. Can anyone tell me how to remove those apps... thanks
Boot into bootloader and be sure it says s-off. If it does, go to the market and install busybox. Or go to titanium backup and click the "problems" button.
Edit: Just do what teh roxxerz said

1. Run the "fix problems" , that will do it
2. Reboot the phone
Then go back into titanium, tap backup/restore at the top, find the app you want to uninstall, then select > uninstall.
that did it...thank you!!!

Can ICS Folders be backed up?

I really like the new ICS Folders, but do tend to flash a lot. Any way to back them up so you don't have to re-create them every time you flash a new rom?
OR, does anyone know of a folder app that has a similar style to the ICS folders?
bump ... wanna know the same thing!

Nope, not that I'm aware of. You could use a third-party launcher like LauncherPro or ADW that has homescreen backups, but I'm not sure any of them have the same kind of folder capability.
I backed up mine using titanium backup pro and it restore back all my apps including my folders. I did had to setup all my widgets back though.

I didn't realize titanium would backup the ISC folders... I guess next time I load a rom, I will give that a try. Thanks

the folders should be tied to the launcher. so backup that up with titanium or similar app.

The Free version of TiBackup works just the same for backing up and restoring. But the paid version gets you batch 1-click restore, and several other advanced features.

When I was flashing new ROMs, titanium backup was not restoring my ICS folders. However, if you use the Nova Launcher, which is based on ICS and do a titanium backup of that launcher, when you restore, your folders come back.
It's the little things in life that make me happy !
Nova Launcher is really nice !
I backed up the stock ics launcher with titanium, and restored just the data..not the app. This worked fine to restore my folders, but I had to re-create a couple of shortcuts for apps that 'weren't installed' after flashing peter alfonso's 4.03 nightly. It seems to me that the launcher itself might change between 4.02/4.03, so I wanted to play it safe and keep just the data. To be honest...even keeping the data from 4.02 makes me nervous. I just don't know enough about it.

[Q] Titanium Backup Question

Hello,
Sorry if this seems like a stupid question.
Can someone tell me what is the name of the app or program on Titanium to backup the desktop? ( In the Backup / Restore area )
On the HTC devices its called HTC desktop, I cannot find anything called desktop or similar on the Galaxy.
Thanks for the help!

Backup whatever launcher you're using and then reinstall. TW, Nova, apex, etc.

You have to tap backup/restore in titanium backup and select your applications which ever you need. An it can be restored.. Just tap on your needed application there will be a pop just tap backup.
When you reset your device or uninstalled any application you can restore it same way. When restoring there will be options like app/data or app only or data only

I can not disable nor uninstall S planner. The disable button is grayed out, I can only force stop, but it restarts after I reboot my phone. It is very annoying.
Titanium Backup?
it is safe to remove Samsung Apps such as S Planner, S Voice using "Force remove app" function?

It depends on that software and his role...cuz many OEM apps share their lib and other files
However...normally it is safe!

I just deleted them, if anything goes wrong I'll just reflash the rom.
Titanium Backup is the best.
