I've been struggling with this issue for weeks and I'm hoping that someone here has an idea on how to help. On my Note Tablet, Family Guy Quest For Stuff is unplayable. The game developer says that it's an issue with the tablet because the error is memory related; Samsung says it's an issue with the app.
I used to be able to play, but a full battery would be dead in about 20 minutes. I searched around and people complained that the game drained the battery but there was no solution. After upgrading to KitKat, the game crashed every time I tried to visit a neighbor. Sometimes I got the error "std:bad_alloc". Often the game would just go back to the desktop without giving an error. I installed aLogcat and sent the log to the developer but they said that it didn't capture the data that they need. At the Play Store, when I filter this game's reviews by device type, I see that all of Note users are having the same problem. The game runs fine on my Galaxy S5 which is running the same version of KitKat as the tablet (4.4.2).
Does anyone have an idea of what I can try? I'm not rooted.
I haven't seen a solution yet and since the last two updates I haven’t been able to load the game at all. I used to play this game every day and now it just takes up space. If you ever do find a fix please let us know.

Hey everyone,
Ever since getting my phone in early october everything has been great. But just recently, I can't connect to purchase games/apps from the market. I can download something that's free no problem, but if it costs money, as soon as I click on the buy button, it says "attention: a server error has occurred. Retry or cancel and try again later." It never works at all for the last few weeks.
My connection is fine. I downloaded 3 free games today alone (and plenty others over the last few weeks). I update all my apps constantly. Everything is stock including the original sd card and I'm not rooted (yet). But ever since these last 3 weeks it won't get to the screen where I get to choose my payment method.
One more note, this started a few days BEFORE my market got updated to the new version of the market. It stopped letting me buy stuff first, then upgraded to the new version of market and still doesn't work.
Oh and also I've tried rebooting, I've tried force stopping the market app and I've cleared the data/cache of the market in app management.
Pleeease help... there's a couple apps and games on sale right now that I want!
Thanks
Dave

Oh and I just uninstalled the market update... no help.

Just thought id let everyone know that I finally figured it out!
For all the people out there posting about this same problem, here's the solution:
Log in to your google checkout account (on a computer since you can't from a phone) and re-add your credit card information... fixed it instantly. Yes I already had a credit card in there that was still good... and I had my t-mobile account in there to bill, but apparently something stupid went wrong and it thought I had no billing options available and instead of giving a worthwhile error message it just said "network error"
I fixed it. Your welcome google. Send me something free now please

I had a problem a while back with the Appstore logging out daily, so each log in adds a new device on-line. It was "fixed" on a revC apk and working fine for a few weeks. Just started doing the same yesterday. Anyone else having this issue?
I haven't seen this issue since it was fixed except for once. The appstore was logged out for no reason. It hasn't happened since so I haven't thought about it again. Not sure of any cause though.

Ditto here. I think I'm done with Amazon apps. Combine the losing password with the fact that you can't see the version of app store without logging in (to see if you need to update) and you can't paste into the password box (since I keep my passwords in a safe and normally don't see/type them) it becomes way too annoying.
So you are giving up on an app that gives you a free app every day because you occasionally have to re enter your details?

I uninstalled appstore, and re downloaded and reinstalled from here: http://www.amazon.com/gp/mas/get/android seems to stick now. I have too many free apps to give it up, although I am replacing them 1 by 1. Play is so much faster at updating.

Well, not just that. The free app every day used to include some good ones, but I can't remember the last time I saw one that interested me. The re-entering of details (and situations where you can't do that, like if you're on a plane) combined with the lack of timely app updates (and occasional battery drain issues) just make it more hassle than it's worth for me. YMMV.
Can't download anything in Play Store. Ive gotten numerous errors. Some of the errors ive checked indicate a server being down. Anybody else try to download apps today?

Perhaps we will be seeing an update?
Nope, been downloading stuff all day no issues
My HTC One wasn't working until just a few minutes ago. However my nexus 10 worked the whole time...
Resetting caches and clearing data on various google apps didn't immediately fix it either. Although I suppose it did work 30 minutes after the resets...
It's back up for me now too. Since the Play Store was only down from about 2pm to 5pm Mountain Time, and this thread doesn't serve for much purpose ( abeit those who will search the forums tomorrow for any explanation for the errors being caused from earlier today), should I delete this forum after tomorrow night? I've scoured Twitter and Reddit and am surprised not a lot of people are talking about it. If it was Apple, it would be all over the news.
Yeah your not alone. I got an error downloading a free app
There was a droid-life story that there were app update and download issues.

I don't see why we would need this thread after the issue was resolved.
I'm having a strange problem, and I'm really hoping someone might have an answer, because it's driving me crazy...
I'm not able to buy anything through the Play Store (including in-app purchases). Every time I try to it tells me "This payment method has been declined", regardless of what method I choose (Play Store credit, Google Wallet, Bill to carrier, and 4 valid cards I have saved). I can't even 'purchase' free items (ie. free music tracks).
I'm also having an issue with the Google Wallet app, in that I can't add funds. Every time I try, regardless of how I try to add them (tried 3 valid cards), it tells me I cannot send money with Google Wallet.
I'm running Echoe v6 (international ROM), and everything was working fine, until yesterday. I made a full backup in TWRP, flashed a couple other ROMs I wanted to try, and finally did a full wipe and restored the TWRP backup I had made. Ever since restoring I've been having these problems, though everything else is working exactly how it was prior to backing up/restoring.
I've tried clearing data/cache for both Play Store and Wallet, deleted and re-added my credit cards on a PC, and still nothing. If anyone has ANY ideas or suggestions, they would be GREATLY appreciated.

Unfortunately, I don't think anything I did fixed it. I'm thinking it was some sort of issue with my account on Google's end, that ended up resolving itself.
I had spent hours messing with it, finally got so pissed off/frustrated that I turned the phone off, plugged it in, and did some work on my laptop. When I came back to the phone about 4 hours later, it was working again. During that time, I went to the Google Wallet site from my Palm and deleted a few old, unused cards from it, but I don't think that had anything to do with the problems I was having.
I wish I could offer you more help, but I can't. Good luck though!

Thanks anyway man. Yeah this issue has been frustrating me for a good couple of weeks now. I don't really buy much on the play store but now that i do want to purchase something it is just pissing me off. I think I'm going to contact Google see if they can help or something.

I'm having this problem too, says my card is declined when trying to add money to my Google Wallet. Just called the bank, they don't have anything showing my card being rejected, so it looks like it may be a problem on Google's end
For some reason my YouTube stopped working after I think about 2 updates ago. When it first stopped working I wasn't worried and figured the next update would probably fix it, but that hasn't happened (I currently have v5.9.4.9). It starts but nothing loads it just continually shows the loading icon (I also tried searching thinking that may work and didn't). I tried clearing cache and data and force stop then re-opening but that did nothing also.
Any ideas?

@Paulx777 the current version of Youtube app is 5.9.0.13 - update it and see what happens.
Tbh the Youtube app has never been bug free on my tablet, at first it had exactly as you describe nothing would load - I did all sorts and finally figured out it was my wifi router being the problem so try a different wifi connection and see what happens.
Once that was fixed it would take ages to load and now it no longer updates my history. I just think this tablet and youtube aint the best of friends haha.
P.s. is 777 in your name refering to Boeing 777? Jus curious lol.

It's definitely something wrong with the YouTube update because I went in and clicked "Uninstall Updates" and whatever version it reverted back to worked perfectly. Plus, if you look at YouTube's Google Play ratings/reviews, a lot of people have been giving the update one star our dropping their rating from five stars to one for the same reasons...YouTube doesn't load, they get no picture and only hear sound, etc. And there's a bunch of complaints, they can't all be from Galaxy Note 10.1 2014 Edition owners.
P.S. no, when I created the sn I put in Paul7 (I play baseball and 7 is my number) but it wasn't available, so this was what was available.

@Paulx777Yeah thats true ... I think youtube app in general isnt good either. But try a diff WiFi ... trust me it might be the cause it was for me.
Haha Ah right I thought you were a plane lover thats all lol.
