Hi,
I just got a LG QuickCircle case for my wifes G3, and it is pretty cool. I love the clocks... But I am interested in building some custom clocks if my developers can use the SDK. I will 3d model realistic (as photoreal as possible) versions. Would anyone else be interested in having some custom clocks?
Here are a few I was looking at, just to give an example. But i want to make 5-10 styles.

If you can make a realistic copy of the omega speedmaster Soyuz edition I'll pay for it, paid £6000 for the watch and I still check my fricking phone all the time *faceplam*

lol.. I added it to the list. Hopefully the SDK allows us to do this! I like that watch, and I definitely plan to make them photo-real. I don't want some crappy looking graphics, it's gotta feel like you are actually looking at the watch for me.

I will have my programmer look into it.. If they give me the green light to start building/animating models, i'll make sure to let everyone know!
I wish the resolution for the LG watch was higher than 280x280
I would be up for those watchfaces! YAAY!
I might be wrong but the SDK only allows us to make apps for QickCircle, not add more clocks.
The only way I know that we could add more clocks would be the 'hack' whatever app actually stores the current clocks and add more in there.

Gotcha. I saw a post on the LG G3 Dev site. I thought it was you.
I really liked the concept, functionality and the design of award winning Moto 360 design. Here it is;

Would be great if something like that could be ported or a similar one created for our beloved G3 for use with quick circle case.

UPDATE from LG
Here is what LG has told me about custom clocks and sdk...
"We are happy to hear your positive feedback on QCircle. Thanks.
As you mentioned, the current version does not include the feature for adding custom clocks. We've got many request for it. So, we are internally discussing this issue, but not yet have a specific plan for it.
Thank you."

you should be able to download WebOS Doctor... it has everything needed to totally wipe the device and reinstall everything fresh... so it would have all the system files in it.
you should be able to find it somewhere other than palms site. on palms page you need to put in your phones serial to download it.
if you end up needing it, i would be happy to download it and host it so you can grab it quick. (wife has a pre plus).
the newest version is 1.4.5.
Hey, found a link for the latest WebOS doctor that camalus was talking about, direct download link for the file is http://palm.cdnetworks.net/rom/pre/...1351rod/webosdoctorp101ewwverizonwireless.jar
and link to the Webos doctor site that hosts all doctor files for all WebOS devices is

Hey ID I had a Palm Pre Plus for like 29 before I got my Dinc. I loved the card UI, you can have like 50 things going on at once. Phone would get hot and battery would go but it was a nice OS. The Acer test video you made reminded me of it a little.

LTE EX Galaxy Nexus - 4.0.3 AOSP

Agreed, it won't be an every day use on GN. But at 4.7" I think I can squeeze two every now and then if it serves a purpose, like a copy/paste or replying to one thing while looking at another scenario.. For sure will be useful on tablets. Kind of reminds me of the video app "Stick It!", which is a cool app and worth checking out.

Main reason? incompability that will make people give apps bad reviews but they didnt work with the modifty framework

People will always give bad ratings for silly things. It's not the app, it's the concept that people don't understand.
Android is open source. People are entitled to do whatever they want, but there are consequences and cons for everything.

As the name of the thread says. If you want iphone style notifications then download the app from the market. It is free and pretty sweet.

Enjoy and if you like the app hit the thanks
Credits to the developer who made it and to TechandMe who reviewed it.
just in case
If you didn't develop this application, you should't be asking people to hit your thanks button You're just here to provide a link to the Play store.

true and you do have a point sir. but i wonder if i did not come across this app while watching the review on youtube i wonder how many people on these forums would know about it..probably not a lot. just sharing like i said and giving people more options on how to customize their phones since we have the best OS in my opinion that lets us do this without the need to root.
Like the whole point of android..it is about sharing what we have and what we know..And i know about this app and wanted to share it with the people here. if it is in the wrong place by all means move it but i feel if people are going to share apps that they find on the market and want to share it with people then i think i am in the right place for it.
Using it..... would be using it for sometime until i get bored with this new stuff

Did anyone ever find this after?
Yeah, I would like to get that design also. Been looking for it on the net and, haven't been able to find it.
Is it released yet??
Actually because David Pasqual is a designer and this design was part of the Motorola Design Contest way before the 360 was released. His actual watch face is the winner out of what I believe, if I remember correctly, over a 1,000 entries. Plus it's copyrighted which is why nobody will make his exact design.
Motorola/Google claimed it'd be included on a future software update to our 360's! Wear 2.0 is "supposed" to be launched on October 15th - hopefully it'll be included in this update.
As for the others, some of them may very well be copyrighted too!
Just sayin'

Does anyone know or have a port of the animations from galaxy s7 or s6? The animations are much smoother than our N5X (and its not because of better specs or anything like that) but it is just a matter of porting them to work on our device. I would do it but I don't have the skills...does anyone know if there is any flashable zip to achieve this?
It would require editing the framework with the xml files

Stupid question, stupid answer. They're the same animations only adjusted for Samsung devices. If we port them here, they will most likely be choppier than on Samsung devices. The only way to get them to run the same, is to have the same device, ergo. Go buy a Samsung

Transition animations, app opening animations and etc...
I think it basically comes down to the animation and interpolator used in the animation,it is not device specific as far as I know. There were some mods for animations for my previous phone, the LG g2 and they worked very well but they need to be modded for our framework to be used. I am not skilled to do it otherwise I would do it and post it for the community...
