Today when I wanted to? - T-Mobile Samsung Galaxy S II SGH-T989

know how many minutes I had I dialed the USSD code it displayed 'Connection problem or invalid MMI code' I signed in to my provider homepage to see if something was wrong and it said that my account was active? I'm on carbon ROM and my phone is rooted. I even took out my sim card and put in a different phone that phone sim card on my phone and it worked, but my sim card didn't work on the other phone when I dialed the USSD code it said 'Unable to process Request'? I have T-Mobile prepaid service. What should I do?

SMSC number

Hi,
I'm having trouble inserting th smsc into my HTC Desire. I'm on the optus network in Australia. I have both the 'normal' and pdu format. Is there a special trick to successfully insert the smsc number please.
Thanks.
Not sure why you'd need to change it as it should automatically work correctly after you insert the SIM card.
The correct number and format is: +61411990001
What happens when you press Refresh?

That's what I thought but it doesn't do so in both my Android phones, a Desire and a GNexus. However, when I insert the sim in a Blackberry, it works fine. Which brings me to believe it may require a PDU format. I've since updated the Rom on my Desire and entered the SMSC number above and I can now send national sms but not international. My provider assures me there isn't a block on my account so they're sending me out a new sim card. The GNexus does require the SMSC number in PDU format, though.

Question on SIM card info....

I am S-off, rooted, unlocked bootloader...But just went through some resets & other headaches yesterday trying to install the last OTA... Whatever I did, the phone seems to be having a few problems.
First, when I boot up, as expected, it seems to connect to the network pretty quickly. Then it finds my Wi-Fi and authenticates with it.
Then it switches to Wi-Fi calling... But it also then says there is "no SIM card". Really weird.
I downloaded a generic SIM card info app from the play store and looked at the information on my SIM card. From what it looks like, two fields are blank: (i) the SIM operator field, and (ii) the network operator field.
I am have not changed my CID so that's not a factor.
Can someone else here (who is on stock but rooted) check their SIM card to see if there are any values in these two fields?
Thanks!

[Q] Xperia S, Sim card Removed and no network problem

Hi all, I'm having lot of troubles with an Xperia S phone.
Finally get to install the Cyanogen10 rom on it, but when it boot, I unlock it and insert the pin code as usual, after that I get this "error":
- SIM card removed
The mobile network will be unavaiable until you restart with a valid sim card inserted. (in the bottom of it there's a Restart Button)
No network service also when I try to connect manually to my provider network.
Also tried a Factory data reset couple of time with no results.
Any ideas?
Edit:
Tried with another 100% working simcard from another provider and get same results.. Pin code -> card removed

Sim card status shoes "unknown number"

The issue is in the title. I needed my sim card to display this info for various messaging apps , especially when. Doing group messages . Does anyone know how I can set my number to my sim? I am on French bouygues network. It worked just fine in T-Mobile in the USA.
Uodate- I got it fixed by going back to mm, installing xposed, using sim editor module, inputting number, went back to custom ROM on nougat without formatting data and storage(flashed proper vendor, radio, bootloader) and my number stuck !!!
