I wanna know what's the best mix of custom kernel and custom rom that is battery efficient out there right now. Currently I am using DoomLord's kernel v11 and T.E.A.M. rom but my battery drains fast and I have tried several battery saver and task killer combinations and just manage to come up with -2.36%/hour battery usage(wifi turned off). Are there tweaks/tips for a stable underclocking and undervolting procedure? Currently I'm underclocked to 921.600 with -50mv on all frequencies/voltage settings. Need some expert advice thanks
Well I am using the stock rom and doomkernel over clocked to 1516 and it keeps the battery going all day with normal usage.

I'm using kieran's miui port and kernal and the battery life seems pretty decent, definitely better than what I was getting with stock.

Some expert advice is to get rid of taskkillers!
Who's the expert that said that? GOOGLE (not the search engine, the Android developer team)

Heey all ,,after i test this app on my mothers xperia x10 (2.3.4 custom rom) and m fathers lg 2x speed (4.0.4 stock pre-rooted rom) this apps works really great up to 1,5 - 2 days
My battery problem is gone since i use this app
(i dont like battery saving apps because they draining my battery more than.before but this is really.amazing).
This app works only with root this tweaks the kernel ,wireless etc.. for each mode
And you can calibrate your battery
Heres the link and thanks to.him rate his app and give him feedback (forgotten his name :banghead

I will share your story with everyone.
We can discuss from http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=1947559
Hi,
i just flashed the Renovate 13.2.0 ROM and on Quadrant, and Antutu my CPU-Stats are pretty low now.
about 10-15% than on ARHD 18.0 and Stock ROM.
How can i fix this ?
Why do you want high benchmarks? They are pointless and inaccurate.
Does the phone actually feel slow when using?

Yes, Nova Launcher lags hard in menu.
I had this too on Renovate, plus I'd not recommend Nova Launcher. (that is my opinion!)
If it bothers you really much, then I'd recommend wiping everything and install it again. Or another ROM of course.

I like Renovate bcoz its battery awesome. But it themed not very nice bcoz connot customize like ViperX. But ViperX dont have an excellent battery life.
Which one do you guys prefer ?.
Well my top list :
Trickdroid
BugX
ViperX
And look for themes in the apps & teams section, team 420 are releasing a lot of nice skins
Try Viper X,you won't regret,it's very customizable and the battery life it's good

Already use ViperX. The battery not truely awesome. ViperX only can hold 8hours with data connection on all-day-long.
I need at least 15hours battery life per day. So i dont need to charge my phone at my office or public place.
My list:
OrDroid
ViperX
Blade
But Viper is the best because you can customize all you want
Aokp 4.2
For me
Best battery life 4+ screen on every time
Loads of built from source customisation
Fastest Rom

Have you tried sticking with viper, but just changing the kernel or under volt?

there is widgets called apw widgets which have timeline widget (facebook+twitter)
I prefer ICJ ROM ,, Its awesome , and have perfect team .
battery life
that s a nice topic, to have a decent battery life. to have a perfect customizable rom is not perfect if the battery life is poor. on ICS i tried ViperX , ARHD, Maximus, CM9...if i remember, the best battery life i got on ARHD, but i always preffered ViperX. is the coolest for me, it suites my neeeds and you get a decent battery life. the viperx is customizable, and if you got skills to configure you obtaine a good battery life
on JB i tried the stock one, it was decent, now i'm rolling ViperX 3.3.3, is very nice, smooth, stock kernel, sense 4+. decent battery life, i use my phone one day without problem ( emails, calling, facebook, XDA, news etc). i don t let my data conection active all the time, and autosync is off. with moderate use, the record was 49 Hours, but mostly for calling and some emails, news reading...if you stay on top of your phone all the time i don t think there is a rom who can make miracles....web browsing , streaming and video watching are the biggest battery killers
i got HTC One X since may 2012
Viper X
Is it possible that battery life is shorter on Jellytime than SVHD for example ?
Jellytime is non-sense Rom means it has less stock active apps which are constantly running, so in theory jellyrun is less resource consuming and low battery consuming even.
If jellytime is conusming more battery than svhd means you have more or heavy apps running in background.
