[Q] Battery life on Jellytime - Desire HD Q&A, Help & Troubleshooting

Is it possible that battery life is shorter on Jellytime than SVHD for example ?

Jellytime is non-sense Rom means it has less stock active apps which are constantly running, so in theory jellyrun is less resource consuming and low battery consuming even.
If jellytime is conusming more battery than svhd means you have more or heavy apps running in background.

Best rom for battery life?

Hey everyone, i'm looking for the best rom for battery life! Can you help me?

Help yourself. This question has been asked and repeatedly been answered already. And no matter how many people would suggest this or that rom it always ends up with you and your personal experience.

Oxygen 2.3.2

Hi,
Try Mildwild 5.0 Rom with manu kernel. It works great for me.

It will most likely end up with JB anyway.

Like the others suggested it all kind of depends on how you use your phone. I used mine as mp3 player and about 1hour of browsing a day. Only occasional calls a texts, but I found the latest oxygen gingerbread rom with launcher pro plus to be great.

Any Sense ROM
I get 36 hours using it normally on any Sense ROM (2.1, 3.0 or 3.5)
etc. ncessuch
I have dont have the most experience but of the roms I have tried, I found MokeeOS to have the best battery life - about 36 hours with texts, facebook & email checking and maps use.
I have used the following ROMs
1. stock sense
2. MIUI-AU
3.MIUI-XJ
4. MIUI Mararge
5. MokeeOS
6. Jellybean pre-alfa
I like MokeeOS the best but really like some of Jelly Beans features even though not everything works

Hmmm, in general Sense ROMs are the most battery-draining of all, especially the 3 and 3.5 ones (just imagine that the stock Desire came with just a version of Sense 1.0).
Rule of thumb is that the more "stripped" the ROM, the better the battery life will be. Therefore any AOSP ROM will generate maximum battery life.
It depends, but you can try any of the miui ROMs, or if you prefer sense ROMs you can try aurora.
A AOSP like oxygen or CM based rom should be fine.
For CM based kernels use ManU HAVS BFS Kernel or CronMod Kernel. Both are great oh battery!
For oxygen use Thalamus kernel or mod8 (which is the same thing with Smartass cpu governor).

Sense roms are smooth, and cm6 is superfast (both of these are android 2.2 froyo), android 4.0 has some bugs but the perfect balance is cm7. It is all about your preferences though, which one you like. if you have just rooted I would suggest cm7.
I tried cm7 but found the launchers to be a bit laggy the wildfire is just a spare phone so the app compabality dosnt matter I just need a superfast Rom with decent battery life

1) do you overclock your phone ?
2) use cm7 nightly, touchviz by androidaddiction (without sense)
3) jokerdroid 4.3 rom (with sense)
4) for cm7, use launcherpro. Download it from play store.
Adjust it abit to make it fast
E.g
Go to launcher settings > advanced > scroll speed ( increase to 65 or above ) > app opening speed ( increase it from 4 to 6)
For better performance and battery, overclock to 729 max 352 min and use governor "smartasssv2"
Odp: HTC wildfire
aokp v3, oc 264 to 729, v6 script, apps on sd and launcher pro and u have fast rom

I might suggest one of the "ultra smooth" roms They are really some of the smoothest around, especially with the supercharger and overclocking...
Can you send a link to an ultra smooth Rom

[Q] best ics rom in the point of battery life?

Hey at all,
i just want to know if any ics rom is having the same ( or nearly the same) battery life like rempuzzle rom? becaue my problem with the ics roms is that i just lay it in my poket while school time for around 5hours and after these 5 hours the battery gone from 90% to 50%. (i just have turned on mobile data, my apps are: whatsapp, facebook,fb messenger and xda, no email account is syncing in backround)
and when i'm on rempuzzle it just goes from 90% to 80% ...
hope you understand my problem and can help me

delete unnecessary apps, change governor to smartass v2 and oc between 269-710. for me best in term of battery were erwon's cm9 and aokp v4.

[Q] Fastest HTC Desire Rom (performance)

Hi all,
I'm currently looking for the fastest / best performing HTC Desire Rom.
As I'm playing Ingress, its really slow and closes very often. I was thinking flashing a Rom without Sense, as it would probably perform better.
I guess 2.3 is faster than the new built? Or is it the other way around?
Let me know if you have any suggestions, or if I should use a 2.3 no-sense Rom?
Regards

I would recommend AOKP VJ 4.2.2 Jelly Bean v2.1. In my eyes it is one of the fastest, smoothest and most stable CM 10.1 based ROMs at the moment. I appreciate that it constantly keeps the mem free above 100mb.
i'd say Mildwild roms are the fastest and most stable.
Been using them for a long time now....still very pleased with them.
They have a few small issues, but overall...the fastest roms available if u ask me.
Currently running MW9.5 Redux, but used MW8 before....i find MW8 a little bit faster and better...it's got a few more options than MW9.5
...hoping for and upgrade of the MW8 version....
Wanted to say thx for all your suggestions. I'm running 4.2.2 VJ CM 10.1 now, and its awesome.
Pretty fast, and i got plenty of RAM, so Ingress does not close when minimizing (not everytime at least)
Thx! :highfive:

The thing is with Desire z, it just simply doesn't have the juice to run them(at least deadtrigger). When i still had my Desire z and had JB ROM on it, i could play deadtrigger on lowest graphs with relative smoothnes.
