Hi,
i just flashed the Renovate 13.2.0 ROM and on Quadrant, and Antutu my CPU-Stats are pretty low now.
about 10-15% than on ARHD 18.0 and Stock ROM.
How can i fix this ?
Why do you want high benchmarks? They are pointless and inaccurate.
Does the phone actually feel slow when using?

Yes, Nova Launcher lags hard in menu.
I had this too on Renovate, plus I'd not recommend Nova Launcher. (that is my opinion!)
If it bothers you really much, then I'd recommend wiping everything and install it again. Or another ROM of course.

Help yourself. This question has been asked and repeatedly been answered already. And no matter how many people would suggest this or that rom it always ends up with you and your personal experience.

Hi,
Try Mildwild 5.0 Rom with manu kernel. It works great for me.

It will most likely end up with JB anyway.

Like the others suggested it all kind of depends on how you use your phone. I used mine as mp3 player and about 1hour of browsing a day. Only occasional calls a texts, but I found the latest oxygen gingerbread rom with launcher pro plus to be great.

Any Sense ROM
I get 36 hours using it normally on any Sense ROM (2.1, 3.0 or 3.5)
etc. ncessuch
I have dont have the most experience but of the roms I have tried, I found MokeeOS to have the best battery life - about 36 hours with texts, facebook & email checking and maps use.
I have used the following ROMs
1. stock sense
2. MIUI-AU
3.MIUI-XJ
4. MIUI Mararge
5. MokeeOS
6. Jellybean pre-alfa
I like MokeeOS the best but really like some of Jelly Beans features even though not everything works

Hmmm, in general Sense ROMs are the most battery-draining of all, especially the 3 and 3.5 ones (just imagine that the stock Desire came with just a version of Sense 1.0).
Rule of thumb is that the more "stripped" the ROM, the better the battery life will be. Therefore any AOSP ROM will generate maximum battery life.
It depends, but you can try any of the miui ROMs, or if you prefer sense ROMs you can try aurora.
A AOSP like oxygen or CM based rom should be fine.
For CM based kernels use ManU HAVS BFS Kernel or CronMod Kernel. Both are great oh battery!
For oxygen use Thalamus kernel or mod8 (which is the same thing with Smartass cpu governor).
Right now im running CM10 on my HTC ONe V CDMA/PrimoC and im very very pleased with the performance, increased battery life speed and so on but i also am a app developer and ive read in some forums that sometimes ROM's respond weirdly to app's that otherwise would run just fine on stock ROM.
The thing is i REALLY REALLY dont like HTC Sense, its slower, bulkier, and less customisable than CM10 and i dont want to have to revert to stock ROM unless theres a big difference in app stability on stock ROM. SO yeah should i go back to stock ROM to test out my apps ?
No need:beer: apps are stable on cm10

Hi everyone,
I've had my HTC one V for about a month now and I recently got root and installed JMZ's JmzOneV ROM. I've been having a couple issues and I was wondering if you guys could help.
First off, I've been missing a lot of texts. I'm not sure if this is a rom problem but I'm currently exchanging emails with Virgin support so hopefully that will be resolved soon.
Most importantly, everything seems SO SLOW. I mean I thought my old optimus V was bad but this isn't much of an improvement in speed. Is Sense too much the one V and is there a faster rom I should be using? What rom do you recommend for the fastest most stable experience?
Help would be much appreciated in giving this noob some direction.
CM10 all the way. And if you can live with a few bugs here and there evervolv 4.2

+1 for CM10 and can try PA too....good rom...
We HAVE a Question and Answer thread for these questions.....next time plz post it there
BTW, you should go for CM10( or even Cm10.1)

MySense: Full Sense
MyOneV: Sense Light
I run Pacman v19.3 currently as a daily, i love it cause it's a hybrid of AOKP CM10 and paranoid, it runs fairly smooth with the occasional lag but i run RAM manager pro and it mostly solves that problem. I've also ran CM10 and AOKP and those are also very good ROMs. Pacman has been my favorite so far. If you choose to go with pacman look for version 19.3 because they recently released an update which isn't quite stable enough for a daily ROM (assuming your CDMA and not GSM)
Hope this helps
So it looks like I'm going to go with CM10 is there a certain nightly I should go with that is more stable than the rest or should I just go with the latest?
I have the One V CDMA in case I hadn't mentioned before.
Evervolv 4.2 is extremely stable and doesn't have very much lag that's my daily. The status bar freezes rarely but it's nothing major

Hey Guys,
Just switched from CM 10 to Miui V3.18, the phone is so slow its un-usable, just wondering if there is any way to change the clock speed etc on this ROM and where do I go to do so?
Thanks,
download titanium tweaker or similar app form store and set it to 1.2ghz

Sorted itself and added Titanium
Thanks, took a few minutes but after a Miui market update it's now running smoothly.

Hi,
Tried MIUI V3.18 but found it to be stable but not as smooth as CM10.
However, rolled on V2.12 MIUI and its almost perfect, control panel really helps, seems stable so far with a really nice look and performance.
I removed LBE MIUI Security, added the Superuser from the MIUI page and all zRam, OC and KSM work well.
Never tried RC 9.5, prefer ROM's with a totally different feel to the stock.
Hope this helps,
I have the fastest HTC One V..!! Lol hehe
Other members post their scores please...so as to develope a healthy competition. This can help to find which combination of rom and kernel along with cpu tweaks should be used so as to get best performance on our One V
I Use :
Rom - HTCdroid v2.4
Kernel - Charmkiss

Ow, nice thank for benchmark result, but I have a question about battery life in HTCDroid, now I use stock tom with charmkiss kernel.
Battery issues will remain in all roms....as far as i have tested..._!

which Battery issues? since evervolv (ev_primou-3.2.0-20130511) it give no more problems with Battery.

Straight off the bat with CPU at 1024 running all the normal apps and I get 5504.
I/O is SioPLUS
CPU is intellidemand
Anyone want to advise on changes to make it faster or benchmark against the same settings?
There is a mode called Pure Performances by Jeeko..!! Flash the zip for custom roms from that thread and enjoy.! The performance will increase for sure.!! There is even a CM10 version of that mod...so anyone using CM10 roms can flash that...thought i havnt tried cm10 zip....but sense based roms are superfast after flashing that zip..!!

Haha mods you said? I've got without mods 8142 points on AnTuTu. Do you have something more to say? Mod is just a mod. Perfomance is giving by zipalign, optimalizations of apps and databases and ROM creator optimalization. Perfomance must be real. Not increased via mod.

But we are talking about One V, not One S
And I'm talking about One V too. Who is talking about One S? This benchmark score is rly bad if we compare to One S(13500)

This is what pure performances x does. (golden edition stock)
Installs CrossBreeder
Sets ZipAlign on boot
Installs optimized sqlite3
Adds build.prop tweaks
And other things that I couldn't figure out looking just at the files in the zip for 2 seconds xP (it does a lot of other things check the thread.)
