I have the fastest HTC One V..!! Lol hehe
Other members post their scores please...so as to develope a healthy competition. This can help to find which combination of rom and kernel along with cpu tweaks should be used so as to get best performance on our One V
I Use :
Rom - HTCdroid v2.4
Kernel - Charmkiss

Ow, nice thank for benchmark result, but I have a question about battery life in HTCDroid, now I use stock tom with charmkiss kernel.
Battery issues will remain in all roms....as far as i have tested..._!
Sent from my HTC One V using xda app-developers app
which Battery issues? since evervolv (ev_primou-3.2.0-20130511) it give no more problems with Battery.
I mean battery life....ma bad
Battery life is a prob for me irrespective of any rom....but i m ok with it as far as i get speed and stability

Have you done any tweaks or something ? Like Swap or Scripts ?
If yes, then please tell us about it.
was this thread absolutely necessary? i meab you could just post in the off topic section and tried not to clutter the forums...

Straight off the bat with CPU at 1024 running all the normal apps and I get 5504.
I/O is SioPLUS
CPU is intellidemand
Anyone want to advise on changes to make it faster or benchmark against the same settings?
There is a mode called Pure Performances by Jeeko..!! Flash the zip for custom roms from that thread and enjoy.! The performance will increase for sure.!! There is even a CM10 version of that mod...so anyone using CM10 roms can flash that...thought i havnt tried cm10 zip....but sense based roms are superfast after flashing that zip..!!

Haha mods you said? I've got without mods 8142 points on AnTuTu. Do you have something more to say? Mod is just a mod. Perfomance is giving by zipalign, optimalizations of apps and databases and ROM creator optimalization. Perfomance must be real. Not increased via mod.

But we are talking about One V, not One S
And I'm talking about One V too. Who is talking about One S? This benchmark score is rly bad if we compare to One S(13500)

This is what pure performances x does. (golden edition stock)
Installs CrossBreeder
Sets ZipAlign on boot
Installs optimized sqlite3
Adds build.prop tweaks
And other things that I couldn't figure out looking just at the files in the zip for 2 seconds xP (it does a lot of other things check the thread.)

Hey guys general question but would be nice to hear your views. What do yas think is the best gameing combo (Rom and Kernel) mainly for fpse (ps1 emulator) but also generally for all round gameing? I'm currently on viperx 2 with faux kernel..
Sent from my HTC One X using xda app-developers app
been using viper 1.0.1 and now 2.0.1 with faux kernel and gaming is top notch no lag or any thing the gpu is over clocked as well and i have tried a few roms insert coin is another great rom as well but my 1st choice is defo viper and faux
Emulator games rely much more on CPU than GPU unfortunately, although faux's kernel does very well in games when used with Renovate Gaming Boost app.
Agreed. Using tbaldens cm10. Faux beta 7 oc to 1.55ghz. Interactive governer with supercharger script option 9 and I get no lag at all in games
Sent from my HTC One X using xda app-developers app
Yea I have the gamebooster app, had alook at scripts n all but may be slightly above my current knowledge base :s
Sent from my HTC One X using xda app-developers app
The game booster app apply the same things as the supercharger script. But on aosp based ROMs the gaming app doesn't work without a part of the sense framework which I didn't want to install
Sent from my HTC One X using xda app-developers app
Hi,
i just flashed the Renovate 13.2.0 ROM and on Quadrant, and Antutu my CPU-Stats are pretty low now.
about 10-15% than on ARHD 18.0 and Stock ROM.
How can i fix this ?
Why do you want high benchmarks? They are pointless and inaccurate.
Does the phone actually feel slow when using?
Sent from my HTC One X using xda app-developers app
Yes, Nova Launcher lags hard in menu.
I had this too on Renovate, plus I'd not recommend Nova Launcher. (that is my opinion!)
If it bothers you really much, then I'd recommend wiping everything and install it again. Or another ROM of course.

Hey Guys,
Just switched from CM 10 to Miui V3.18, the phone is so slow its un-usable, just wondering if there is any way to change the clock speed etc on this ROM and where do I go to do so?
Thanks,
download titanium tweaker or similar app form store and set it to 1.2ghz
Sent from my HTC One V
Sorted itself and added Titanium
Thanks, took a few minutes but after a Miui market update it's now running smoothly.

Hi,
Tried MIUI V3.18 but found it to be stable but not as smooth as CM10.
However, rolled on V2.12 MIUI and its almost perfect, control panel really helps, seems stable so far with a really nice look and performance.
I removed LBE MIUI Security, added the Superuser from the MIUI page and all zRam, OC and KSM work well.
Never tried RC 9.5, prefer ROM's with a totally different feel to the stock.
Hope this helps,
Hi guys what's the fastest gaming ROM for HTC Desire or script for gaming?

Don't use any sense roms for gaming. Use any non sense roms. Try few Roms by yourself, it all depends what setup you use and all.

Unfortunately, you'll have to accept the fact that the HTC Desire is more than 3 years old, and that its 1GHz Scorpion and Adreno 200 aren't powerful enough to support games such as Subway Surfers. The only thing you could do to enhance performance is flashing an AOSP based GB Rom.

Is this combinations small? I always happen to have space problems.
I tried your setup and I'm not impressed, couldn't get more than 600 on 3d. Jelly bean roms score ~800.
Everybody seem to recommend GB roms for gaming, but from what I've tested myself, they get the lowest scores of all 500-600 on 3d
And strangely enough, I get this results on ics, I/O is that much cause of int2sd, not running from ram.
What's the performance script or the rom you use?

sry for my bad eng
I'm using CM9 rc2 + Honeyx Kernel and some tweaks and mods, with this combination I get 6358 points on antutu benchmark, one of the bigger scores for this phone. When I overclock the CPU to 1.8GHz and put Aggressive in Seeder, I'm enabled to run all games I want without lags.
This rom is awesome with pics too.

The same for me. That´s also the reason why I finally created the 7up kernel for RC2. The only reason I moved to CM9 final was because many people requested a 3.0.x 7up kernel for it. The only advantage the final is having is MTP and OTG but well. I´m not using OTG and MTP is still sometimes causing troubles. Therefore I still am using mass storage mode in CM9 final.
