inserting contact at message

hai any body
i had problem inserting contact to message (short message service). i just can send contact as message, but how can i insert contact number to message?

Just go to your sms message center, create a new message.
This is the part you care about, Click on MENU. and add recipient.
This takes you to your contacts, scroll to the contact name and press the left soft key(OK). This will add the recipient's phone number to the Header of your sms and you can begin typing away. Also you can type away 1st, then add recipient, if you want.

i think hes trying to send a phone number to another person...am i right?

I don't think so, his english is bad, but translated correctly, read it.

This becomes....
I can JUST (or ONLY) SEND contact as a message, how can I insert the contact's number to the message.
I think he's saying he can send the contact's number to a person as a message, but he cannot add the contact's number to the message.
Maybe not, it's kinda hard with this hazy post.

is there a way to have the contact list drop down when just typing in their name. I've seen another 6.1 rom on a tmo dash that inserts the name (or gives you the names of you contact list) as you type the first few letters of that name. hope im being clear.. example when i type VI in the recipient TO: line, it would show all contacts who's name has VI in it, such as VINCE, or VIVIAN, etc. it should also work when typing in the first few numbers in a phone number. Does anyone know how i can enable this?
Ricky's remake doesn't have this option enabled.

I understand what the guy is saying because I had a similar question a while back. Sometimes I want to insert a phone number and contact name IN the text message. The only way on the Dash to do this is to add the number in the recipient header and then typing it on your own but there is no direct way of doing it. Its weird because on my old RAZR and SLVR I could and here on a WM device I can't. And yes, I also would like to know where I can get the drop down menu list when typing a name in the recipient header. I saw it in a ROM I think it was Ricky and Stylez but Kavana's doesn't have it.

T-Mobile TP2: Deleting calls

Cant figure out how to delete a call from the call history. I can only clear all calls. Does anyone know how to delete a single call? Thanks

Only thing i could see is that when you go into call history press the little card icon to the right of the caller you wanna delete and that will show all the calls from that number. then at the bottom press menu and select delete all. That will delete all the calls from that particular number or person i guess.

Ya I figured that part out...but there has to be a way to delete just a single call. Anyone else? Maybe this option is available on a cooked rom? I'm going to be flashing a new one on the phone this weekend

I played around with it and couldn't figure it out. What I wanna know is why you wanna delete a call! Is it a mistress phone number!?

Pull up your dialer & on the bottome left side there's a Call History icon. this'll let you delete individual calls. Also, there is no mention of this instance of Call History in the manual.
Now you can delete all traces of your mistress.

I have the dutch rom so i don;t know if the translation is good, but go to:
Start -> All -> Contacts -> Select the contact who had called you -> Tab on last call -> Menu -> Delete call

Awesome! I got it now....and no mistress but sometimes i get the occasional "unknown" caller that pisses me off and I'd just like to delete those from the call log. thanks!

Saving phone number while in call

Can someone help me pls, whenever im in an active call on phone and i dial a number, I don't know how to save it while i'm still in the call, can any1 help?

In some ROM´s (like energy´s) an option to save the last call is available.
What ROM you have?

Any rom that has the tachi dailer...

no, not the last call, im talking about dialling a number while your on the phone and u need 2 save that number.

whats tachi dialer?

I think I understand your problem. But since i have used WM phone I fpund this problem for every ROM. It might be not problem. But almost non-WM phone can do it.
When I have press number when calling(such as ask phone no. from another side. when the line drop, number that i've pressed will dissapear...

I will use Menu / create note, and then I will input the number there. It is not quite as simple of a solution, but it does work.

i am using HTC hd and my phone is windows mobile 6.
can anyone tell me how do i hide my number when i call...
i.e the person whom I'm calling will not be able to see my number even though he/she has caller id

Hi Tom,
If you are using WM 6.5.x then go to -->
Comm Manager -> Choose Phone (Change phone settings) -> You will see under the heading Services: Call forwarding, Call barring, call waiting, and caller ID.
Choose caller ID. 3 options will appears. Every, No one, Only to contacts.
Then choose the option No one.

put #31#before every number you want to dial to hide your number & *31# for numbers you want to show

I think you can do it if your operator follows you

Phone wont dial directly to defualt number.

Anyone ele having problem with using the dialer to find a contact, then when finding it and clicking on it it gives the option to call all numbers instead of just going to the defualt number. My girlfriends att note 7 doesnt do this.
I have her cell set defualt. And work as 2nd. When i dial her name using the dialer her name comes up like it should. When i click on her name an option comes up to dial her cell or work. I have to take the extra step and click cell then the call button. It should just go to her cell when i click her name then call whwn i hit the call button. The extra step to choose between the cell and work shouldnt be there as it should defualt to her cell as its checked of as the main.
Can someone please see if their verizon phone does this or am i missing something. Please. Thank you.

Verizon reps phone at best buy did the same thing. Seems like its only verizon phones.

try sliding from left to right to call directly. Tapping the name will only give you options.. sliding will call directly.
