Can someone help me pls, whenever im in an active call on phone and i dial a number, I don't know how to save it while i'm still in the call, can any1 help?
In some ROM´s (like energy´s) an option to save the last call is available.
What ROM you have?

no, not the last call, im talking about dialling a number while your on the phone and u need 2 save that number.

whats tachi dialer?
I think I understand your problem. But since i have used WM phone I fpund this problem for every ROM. It might be not problem. But almost non-WM phone can do it.
When I have press number when calling(such as ask phone no. from another side. when the line drop, number that i've pressed will dissapear...

I will use Menu / create note, and then I will input the number there. It is not quite as simple of a solution, but it does work.

Only thing i could see is that when you go into call history press the little card icon to the right of the caller you wanna delete and that will show all the calls from that number. then at the bottom press menu and select delete all. That will delete all the calls from that particular number or person i guess.

Ya I figured that part out...but there has to be a way to delete just a single call. Anyone else? Maybe this option is available on a cooked rom? I'm going to be flashing a new one on the phone this weekend
I played around with it and couldn't figure it out. What I wanna know is why you wanna delete a call! Is it a mistress phone number!?
Pull up your dialer & on the bottome left side there's a Call History icon. this'll let you delete individual calls. Also, there is no mention of this instance of Call History in the manual.
Now you can delete all traces of your mistress.

I have the dutch rom so i don;t know if the translation is good, but go to:
Start -> All -> Contacts -> Select the contact who had called you -> Tab on last call -> Menu -> Delete call

Awesome! I got it now....and no mistress but sometimes i get the occasional "unknown" caller that pisses me off and I'd just like to delete those from the call log. thanks!

My question is if htc one x can input on messages smilies - the ones when u click on them and they are ready - so i wont need to do the . I know its a weird question but i never had an android device before so i dont know . I just like very much inputing smilies on my messages , thats all
When u're typing messages tap on menu and in contex there is option to insert smilies.

Only when the phone is screen-off. When you reject the call, there is an option to send text.
To edit : settings - call scroll down to Others settings where you can edit the message

I take it that the text can be sent ONLY IF the screen is OFF?
That's right... that is what I notice and tried. Unless someone else can confirm otherwise.

Screen always comes on when you ring the phone so is useless feature? Unless I'm just not getting it. Pretty tired.

Isn't that something you have to manage with your provider? Your phone will unlikely be monitoring someone elses phone network availability and thus polling constantly to the other number. I know some providers give you these possibilities (at least I had it once here in the Netherlands) by pressing a number and then hang up and then a call is buing set up between you and the other person as soon as he is available.
Or do you meen something else?

No provider issues , on galaxy S3 short 1 sec notification. But u have to glance into the display for that.
Is there no app that can enable a sound notification also on Anrdoid for calling somebody who is already in a call
so we can detect that we are in call waiting ??

Yes, I am having similar problem. Any alternative replacement dialler that you can suggest?
Anyone ele having problem with using the dialer to find a contact, then when finding it and clicking on it it gives the option to call all numbers instead of just going to the defualt number. My girlfriends att note 7 doesnt do this.
I have her cell set defualt. And work as 2nd. When i dial her name using the dialer her name comes up like it should. When i click on her name an option comes up to dial her cell or work. I have to take the extra step and click cell then the call button. It should just go to her cell when i click her name then call whwn i hit the call button. The extra step to choose between the cell and work shouldnt be there as it should defualt to her cell as its checked of as the main.
Can someone please see if their verizon phone does this or am i missing something. Please. Thank you.

Verizon reps phone at best buy did the same thing. Seems like its only verizon phones.
try sliding from left to right to call directly. Tapping the name will only give you options.. sliding will call directly.
