I dont think there is any problem like that. I myself used the ROM and didnt experience such things.
So, try re-flashing the ROM. Maybe it'll fix it.
yes there is

Bad Download maybe?
Redownload and try again
Post these in Q&A of course.
Second, make sure you wiped data & cache. If you don't you'll see lots of weird force closes.
Do I need to wipe all factory data?
yeah if you're doing it from boot menu that's the one you want.

always if you are going to a dif rom
Thanks so much, im going to try it, and i'll let you all know if it works or not.
ok that worked
Just a quick tip: use Rom Manager app to handle much of this automagically for you. It prompts for "wipe data" when you try to flash a new rom. Very user friendly.

Not always if you go from different ROMs, in the case of ROMs based on different frame work (which is this one then [yes])...but from sense to sense most ROMs are based on the same exact framework so full data wipes are not needed...

This may not be the best idea. Frameworks may be the same but its not a good idea with all the customizations in roms. Make a titanium backup and start fresh on a new rom to avoid problems. Not saying you can't do it but don't be surprise if problems start happening if you don't wipe.
um, i think it is best to perform a dalvik wipe also. i dont recommend rom manager to install EVERY rom. boot into recovery after downloading the rom, and go to the advanced menu to wipe dalvik. wipe data 2 times even. it helps.
I just installed apex today and I can't use the power button to go to reboot just power's off .
Another issue is that when the phone reboots it go to the screen for activation
Please someone help me ?
I'm using Apex 1.0.1 with franco's 14.4 without issues

If it was just a bad flash when you wipe the data/cache/dalvik cache and reflash apex it should fix itself...also keep in mind you need to flash 4.0.3 GAPPS immediately after flashing, before reboot
i didnt do a full wipe i only did a cache and dalvik wipe , i did install the 4.0.03 gapps right away before restarting.

You really do need to wipe data coming from a different ROM and/or android version most of the time. If you don't apps can and will crash
i came from the same rom just 2 versions older i think the bigxie 4-2 or something , im still having issues with the market it was working fine after i reinstalled the rom but now it keeps doing the same
I have 6.1.A.2.45 version of ICS on my Xperia S and my question is that every time I start off the phone after I get a notice saying: Updating android: Optimizing # of applications ... This always happens to me each to start the phone. and it's annoying because it takes longer to start.
I have the phone rooted with CWM v2 for locked bootloaders
Its a bug, just factory reset if it bothers you.
Its a root, cwm or rom bug?
Sent from my LT26i using xda app-developers app
It depends on what have you flasged, moded lately. It is occurring at specific mods....
Hit Thanks if I helped
Its very strange because i only install the root and CWM, Nothing else more.

I noticed my phone did that when i "cleaned the dalvik cache" using titanium backup as the sony roms seem to create a 0kb file in the dalvik cache folder which tells the phone to to not rebuild the cache.

wait you optimizing them.........the system optimizes them on its own as if freshly installed
yeah it is annoying the more apps you have the more it takes times
I am noob at Linux distros but it seems like the prefetch file used in windows(cannt be sure about this )
you dont have to clear dalvink cache daily just do it when you find your phone laggy or heavy like you do with battery status when you find your battery life is not as it supposed to be

there is a definition about dalvik cache on wiki search it on google since i still cannt post the link

hello i decided to upgrade my hboot by flashing the correct firmware http://www.androidrevolution.nl/downloader/download.php?file=3.16.65.2.zip also never did any OTA just update my hboot
my cid is orang216 and now after upgrading i am completely stuck on htc ONE screen i cant boot into my stock ics 4.0.3 rom anymore pleaseeee helppppppp i can however boot into hboot WHAT TO DOOO???
EDIT : Also i unlocked my new hboot again and flashed cwm recovery touch and did a factory reset aka wipe user data from CWM touch menu but no luck helpppp
You could just flash a new Rom instead of your stock Rom.... Fast boot flash the boot.img then go back into recovery and flash away... I believe the reason why ur getting stuck is because ur on a jelly bean hboot now

OMG Thanks sooooo much to XDA now i am running arhd smoothly on my htc one x WOOOOOOT:victory::victory:
though about full wipe i am using cwm recovery and before flashing the boot.img i did select two option
1.wipe data\clear cache
2.Wipe casch partition
those are the only two options i saw in recovery though there are more option in advanced menu but didnt touch those
summery of what i did:
fastboot flash boot boot.img
fastboot erase cache
again in recovery selected wipe data and wipe cash partition option
installed arhd from recovery(no tweaks selected and also selected data wipe in AROMA)
rebooted to arhd
so now what? did i do a full wipe??? i dont think i did as all music and game data is still in my storage ??? also did i had to SELECT THE battery stats clear CWM???
and just another question why cant i install any of the game apks that i installed easily when i was in stock ics????
You don't need to wipe data so many times... You only have to do it once, either in Aroma installer or through recovery... Also go to advanced>wipe dalvic n cache
Full wipe means your /system /cache and dalvic cache are wiped clean... the user sd card isn't touched. So none of your pics, videos get deleted!
Even your android folder is intact, so if you have downloaded large game data, no need to download it again, just install the apk and your good to go!
and finally about the apks, you have to go to settings and 'check' install apps from unknown sources! That will solve your problem I guess!

Yes, it's normal that you get that message.."Android is upgrading">..
After wiping cache and dalvic from recovery, when the phone boots up.. it again creates the dalvic for the apps. That's why you get that message and there's no need to flash arhd now...
Just go to settings>Apps>select the game>clear cache/data...

did you perform a full wipe while flashing PAC(i mean CM11--->PAC)?
even i came from CM11 R9 to PAC but am not having any issues as you said.
if problem persists try this
twrp: wipe-->advanced wipe-->mark all except internal n external storages-->wipe...............then go for flashing PAC
philz or cwm: wipedata, wipe cache, wipe dalvik cache....................then go for flashing PAC
after flashing rom n gapps clear dalvik cache n cache in recovery(its a good practice to wipe dalvik/cache when u flash anything)
