Thanks for bring light upon us, P6 users for this CM11 Firmware. I'm just download and install this new CM11 on my P6. What can I say about this firmware on my P6 are:
"SIMPLY AWESOME!"
GPS work flawlessly, everything work together flawlessly, my bluetooth headphone working seamlessly with this firmware. FM radio? nah, no one care about it.

Hello !
First, make sure you have already installed the last TWRP 2.8.0.0 in your device !
If you don't have the last update of TWRP, just put your device in TWRP and check reboot to bootloader , then connect USB cable and flash TWRP 2.8.0.0 by this command : > fastboot flash recovery openrecovery-twrp-2.8.0.0.img ( you should check also TWRP 2.8.0.0 Thread for more details ).
Go again in TWRP 2.8.0.0 and Mount -> External Storage , here you will be able to copy the last CM11 update in your external sdcard ! after you have finished copying, unmount driver from your PC and than from your device , go to wipe , advanced wipe and check : cache, data, dalvik-cache, system, Custom storage & Internal Storage ( Do NOT check : External Storage ) -> Swipe to wipe ! No you are able to install the last CM11 from menu : Install ( make sure you are on External Storage ).

Dont know if someone else has the same problem as i have.
While i am talking of on phone / skype / viber , the other people can listen to their own voice , even when i am using the phone with my ear.
After checking , i saw that the p6 has two microphones? So i thought that when the speakphone is loud the voice goes back to the other person during the call through the upper microphone.
When i put on headset , then the problem is solved.
Anyone else has the similar problem? Is there any way one can fix this?

It should be installed since I tried to put back to stock the phone in order to install the last update of CM11 from scratch

Ok, my problem starts here, I'm not able anymore to go to any TWRP, I'm not able to use fastboot or adb, I think that I'm not able to go to bootloader... adb finds no devices, and fastboot says "<waiting for device>" and it doesn't change when I connect USB cable.

Yep - sorry to say, but you should search and read more , because <waiting for device> is a known issue - I have already said several times on this forum for P6 how you can fix this issue, and it means you have driver issue on your PC related fastboot connections !

Thank you Surdu, I had already tried to reinstall the driver without luck, but eventually it worked, so now I have your ROM installed and working on my mobile.
However, I'm still having problems: the apps are not able to store files. For example, twitter does not show any image/avatars/attachements, whatsapp does not dowload images/soundfiles and so on. One app said I have no permissions to write on memory (both external and internal), so I think it is an owner/permission issue. If so, how can I solve this problem?
Moreover, when I unlock the screen I often receive the message "unfortunately, the process com.android.systemui has stopped”, then background and virtual keys are reloaded. Sometimes the process crashes again and goes in loop. Any idea?

Ok, SystemUI crash was on older release, now you can check the last update - there is no SystemUI issue ! Regarding your issues related to Internal/External Storage, you must wipe also Internal Storage before flash CyanogenMod !

Yes : Cache & Dalvik-cache as you can see on Installation instruction ( if you ever looked to ... ) - but to avoid any issues , a clean install is recommended .
so is there the Vodafone branding in the folder /cust/ ? (Because in the Update.zip there is the Vodafone branding)

I currently have the previous version of the CM11 CM11 is - 11/10/2014, if I just want to upgrade to the new version, I have to wipe necessarily doing, I do not want to lose all my settings and applications. As I can upgrade to the new version without losing my data and applications.

Problem with Wifi AP

I have a Huawei P6-U06 with this custom rom, the previous version 11-10-2014 and have a problem when active the mode wifi ap and connect a device, this cause restart in my P6-U06 after 10 minutes of use.

Thanks for the input! How long is the battery life with this update (22/10/2014)? Assume normal use: Wifi all day, facebook, whatsapp, instagram, twitter, bbm, among other apps "low power" active.

Updating CyanogenMod on Ascend P6
Hey guys,
since I'm running the cyanogenmod 11 update from 4th of october and everything works fine for me, I wonder if there is way to apply a minor update without wiping everything and basically reinstalling the whole ROM?
It's really annoying to reinstall and reconfigure xposed+modules and re-login to every app and so on, if it's just for some minor fixes.
So if there is no way, I'd just wait until the next bigger update or some nice features.

In the next update dont whipe all but only davlik and cache. Its will keep all your logins and exposed setups, in exposed neeed to istall and reboot once to accept root premisions

Network connection after flight mode
Very good, each version is improved.

Mobile data still not working on Beta4
I had read that some users were having difficulty with mobile data on beta3, but it was now working after upgrade to beta4... mine still isn't working, any ideas? Screenshot fix is also broken now, and like others, recovery doesn't work. I'm going to reflash recovery and screenshot fix after I get home from work, but I have no idea how to fix mobile data.

I tried to extract the boot.img from the PA Zip and flash it with Flashtool to my Phone.
It says "Done" but when I want to enter the Recovery, the LED goes Blue, but the screen went black.. Nothing more happens.. (I have no recovery Installed yet, I thought the recovery comes with the boot.img)

yes, recovery comes with the boot.img. Maybe You flashed the wrong boot.img? Try flashing it once again. Or Maybe the download of zip was corrupted.
Edit : Found this reading on, maybe it is an issue with the current version. Check this link out.
where is the paranoid setting menu? hybryd setting?
and, beta3 needs lot of time to reboot ~3-5min everytime when I do reboot its normal?

Choose "nozomi" from the list. I am sure it's there because I use that app too.

After installation Recovery stills not working. When I push the volume up button the led turns blue but nothing happens, black screen is all I get. And when a select Reboot to recovery in TWRP Manager app the phone only reboots normally
Got bootloop on reboot
I just try to flash the pa_nozomi-4.6-BETA4-20141009 today. Everything seem very nice and smooth until I reboot. I only reboot for first time to flash some mod, then i cant boot up anymore. I can only boot into recovery. I try to wipe all and flash this pa_nozomi-4.6-BETA4-20141009 again and reboot to double check and it still stuck in recovery. I think that a bug.
Now I try to flash older version to keep my phone running, will review later

I use usually 1300Mhz ondemand mode /battery saving/ but 1700 MHz ej,ej /not battery saving / and uninstall browser and install chrome. /chrome beta always crashed/

Speaker failure with nozomi-PA 4.6-BETA4
Does anyone has a problem with the speaker?
I had it now the second time. From one second to the other it will not work. When I restart the phone ist works fine again.
Had the problem ones with Beta3.
If the poblem is already reported just tell me - i can find it by myself
a second problem i liker to report is that the screen brightnes is changing. it goes a little bit darker and lighter.

I can't do anything on my phone because it is crashing continuously.Even if I like to switch back to Dalvik I can't do that.
System user interface and the other basic things runs on android is crashing.
Even Recovery mode is not working!! When switched to Recovery mode it only Shows "NO COMMENTS"

xposed is not supported with ART..
IF that is not the prob try to flash stock..
Flashing stock is secure!!

download fastboot drivers which comes in small package.. i usually prefer the complete adb bundle.. once u downloaded it open the folder and press shift+ right mouse click.. from the context select open command prompt here..
now connect your device in fastboot mode.
type > fastboot devices
now u ll get a response with a code.. wch means a device is properly connected..
now type > fastboot oem unlock
press enter.. you may get a confirmation in mobile to proceed.. (i did it long back, i dont remember if confirmation comes)
after the bootloader is unlocked, type this
> fastboot - w

Hey, how is the battery backup after changing to art? is there any noticeable difference ?
Can't even use the device after switching...then how can I tell about battery backup!!

Not so good. Infact bad as compared to Dalvik. I switched onto ART and then reverted back to Dalvik.
Performance wise I would definitely say ART is much better, the phone was much faster and responsive than before after switching to ART. However, I could not install any apps, not even update the ones which where on my phone after that, the storage was almost full. So check very carefully before trying ART as it requires at least 700 MB(approx) of free space in your phone.
The Battery too is bad as compared to Dalvik. For now I would say stick to Dalkiv as ART is experimental on Kitkat.

using micromax a1 past 1 month and this is the only issue i have ..... randomly at times im not able to write data on micro sd card ..... means not able to store clicked pictures , delete/edit content , download content from whatsapp etc , worst part is that it happens without any warning or notification , due to which i lose many pics thinking that i have clicked them but not .... when i open quickpic ( gallery app ) it shows toast notification - "not an error (code 0): could not open the database in read/write mode" , googled the error and found that it is an issue in kitkat , btw im using everything stock ,locked bootloader , non-rooted . i didn't find any proper solution to this.
Any help ?
P.S - problem disappears after a reboot but again comes back after few hours , tried resetting sd card ..... works fine in othe mobile/PC ....

make sure you have the reuqired drivers installed, just see youtube tutorials, you will get an idea on in this A1 forum, hit thanks if i helped you
I have the exact same problems and i tried using diffrent sd cards but its no use. I know lollipop will fix this issue because google said its bringing back support for sd cards in android 5. Till then i dont know how i can fix this issue. Btw i am on ART runtime . is that causing this problem or will flashing another stock rom work ? Please help.
SD Card Issue
My friend had the same issue with his A1, and I being his "go to guy", I did factory reset, factory reset from recovery mode, installed stock rom again but none of this worked. Finally, i replaced his SD card with mine and tried to click a photo and voila it worked. So morale of the story, buy a new SD card.

I have unlocked the bootloader of my Z5 premium. I did not make a backup from Backup TA but I did from Xperia Companion.
I am experiencing some reboots and lags, i would like to restore the smartphone from Xperia Companion but as i connect it in safe mode the Z5 is not recognized anymore. I guess it is because of the DRM keys that are not anymore installed.
Is there a way to recover DRM Keys from the backup from Xperia Companion (that i successfully reinstalled in my phone) or bring it to default settings?

The problem is not related to drm keys, however, it seems like you have already lost the chance to backup ta partition.

i also guess so ... is there a way to check if all the DRM functions are enabled or not, for example X reality, Bravia engine ... etc. I am not feeling any difference than before, the camera also works well.
I even tried some tutorial for emulating the DRM keys but i don't know if they worked or not. My phone runs well except for some sporadical reboot ... any way to check?

thanks for your reply. I managed to restore the DRM keys and in that menu everything is marked as OK.
I had problems with the kernel i flashed.
I am experiencing reboots every once in a while though. Do you have any suggestion for a stable kernel?

The kernel is depending of android you are using What is your version of Android ?

Yes I am on Nougat.
I've already tried the 5.11 Flares and the 2.12 Nova ... i wasn't able to turn on the phone, it continued to hang on Sony logo ... I am on Corona III 3.76 and it is stable except for the fact that the z5p reboots every 2 hours ...
Also tried Sunkernel Permissive 5.11 with reboots results

Why you not stay on stock kernel with your DRM keys or stock with DRM fix with root privileges . Are you try this scheme. Is there any reboots then ? My phone never reboot with any kernel I am trying till now.

alright ... my fault
i was flashing the .376 kernel on nougat .33 ... that's why the phone was rebooting. I've been on stock system for ywo years and never rooted Sony terminals ... that'a the result
Now i finally have my z5p rooted with SRM keys fixed and works like a charme ...
the only consideration is on Maps that si lagging now, but it has never done it before.
I downloaded the maps to use them offline ... probably it will be a better now.
