Dropzone thing and xposed installer on rooted stock rom - Huawei Ascend P6, Mate

So I'm using a custom rom.
But the thing I don't like about custom roms is that the stock Huawei Camera app is not working properly.
I used a custom rom because in the stock rom, I can't use pie control because of the dropzone thing. I also cannot use xposed installer. I already updated/installed the latest framework but it still can't use any modules.
Any idea how to solve these problems? I can't search anything about these (or maybe I was not searching deep enough?)
Advanced thanks for those who can help

New Stock or Custom Rom?
I experienced once when I installed custom roms there was a lot of "new" apps.
After I installed back stock rom for example the Firefox was hidden.
It wrote my phone isn't compatible. Howver I don't know why it was with the custom roms.
This is only a guess on my part, may not be true.

Poweramp FC on TW 4.3

Anyone have any luck getting Poweramp to work properly on their S3 while using a leaked TW 4.3 ROM? It will open for about 30 seconds then FCs. It has happened on both leaks. And Poweramp worked fine on CM 4.3.
I tried all the usual fixes: Permissions, clear data, install from Play Store, restore from ROM Toolbox, fresh wipe and clean ROM install.

Is poweramp changed to support 4.3 ?
It works on 4.4. Probably just a bug in the leak.

Are you using saranhai's or TLS' Rom? Or have you flashed any mods such as reboot mod, sound mod, xposed, etc?
I just installed to test and verify and it seems to be running perfectly for me. (I'm using the paid/licensed version if it makes a difference)

First off... Thanks for the leak!
Second... Thanks for confirming that Poweramp works on 4.3 (I use the paid version too).
Right now I am using Saranhai's Slim version of the UVUEMJC ROM. I also tried it on TLS's UVUEMJ4 ROM. I haven't made any changes to this ROM at all (on TLS's I had changed a lot with the Wanam module). Though I do believe that the Xposed Mod is pre-installed on Saranhai's ROM.
I installed the ROM (full wipe), let it sit for 5-10 minutes, setup my Google account, rebooted, then installed my most used apps. I will try to download the stock version of Saranhai's ROM to give that a shot.
Thanks so much for the fast replies!
No problem. If xposed is built into saranhai's Rom, you may want to try the deodexed Knox free version from my thread. It has no mods and only Knox type stuff removed.

Also using the paid version on docs stick deodexed mjc with no issues and I am using xposed also.

Viper

How can I install viper for those who installed it on top of a stock rom? I'm using a stock i9505 rom and I can't figure out how to get it functioning right, even by following the steps on the viper forum.

Do not forget install busy box in a rooted device, after install viper fx go to settings>sound>music fx and select viperfx.
i have been able to install viper on stock 4.2, infamous rom 4.2, i905 custom roms, darthstalker 4.2 roms, 4.3 roms, etc. What is your issue?
When I edit the build prop, select viper for music fx, install the super high driver, and enable the equalizer after reboot with all my choice settings, none of the settings changed one bit of the sound. I don't know how to make it work, I put the bass frequency to its highest with my high end headphones (i used to test if changes would stick) and I heard no difference in sound quality. How can I fix it so it works? The only rom I used that had it built in and working is the minions rom.

I'm confused..should I take the OTA or not ?

I'm not rooted, running stock out of the box 5.0.2 tmobile us 64 gb edge.
If i take the OTA to 5.1.1 with the latest build, will i still be able to root and flash twrp with a rom etc?
I am not new to odin but new to the s6 way of things. S5 was so easy to root.
if youre not rooted go ahead and do it..
i just updated and lost root.. im missing my root!!... XPOSED ... NOOOOO!!!!:crying::crying::crying::crying:

I 2nd the XPOSED. That and adaway are the two biggest reasons I root. That and to remove bloat

I have taken every OTA so far and they have all worked with out TWRP posted by Aou.
I haven't yet tried it on the latest firmware, OH6, but there is no reason it shouldn't work. Just Odin flash twrp after downloading a custom ROM to your internal memory and then immediately boot to twrp and you should be able to install any S6 ROM provided it is bundled with the unikernel or if you flash a kernel that supports the ROM and the G925T.
And as for Xposed you'll need to flash a deodexed ROM to get it working. There are several choices out there, Xtre Sto Lite is a popular one.
Hmm will try that..
Xtrestolite is a good rom, but you will not have VoLTE and WiFi calling,
There is one rom that is deodexed/debloated with VoLTE and WiFi calling. . RAPTURE is the name g920t
But dev left development. . And it's of8.

5.1.1 best way to hide root?

I had to unroot my p600 running 5.1.1 because a few apps that I use now have root check and they refuse to let me use them unless I'm unrooted. (It pisses me off, and I won't reveal the apps since they may find this post if they decide to do a Web search for their app name. Just know that there are no alternatives for these apps).
What is the best and fool proof way to stay rooted, but make apps who check for root think you're unrooted?

I think that with wannam xposed you can do it.

Can you give more details? Last I checked (it's been a while), Xposed wasn't actually available for Lollipop.
What module is needed and is best to use?

Xposed for lollipop & marshmellow http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=3034811
Xposed for stock rooted samsung ROMs http://forum.xda-developers.com/xposed/unofficial-xposed-samsung-lollipop-t3180960
The first one will cause a bootloop on stock samsung ROMs. The 2nd is an unofficial variant that is supposed to fix that issue. There is a module titled "RootCloak" that is compatible with lollipop and marshmellow rooted devices. Hope that helps :good:

If 'RootCloak' doesn't work (it doesn't seem to work on all apps) there is something out there called 'MinMinHide' and that works really well. I use both and so far every applications I need to hide from Root is successfully hidden.
Best regards.
