Hi guys, I'm having an issue when selecting the "search" shortcut on my ring pad, the phone shuts to sleep as if I locked the device (the other shortcut on the ring pad works fine)
I might have deleted something I wasn't supposed to when I was manually de-bloating apps. I still have the google now app, voice search, and google + all installed and working fine so I'm not so sure if this search function is from Google or an LG Search app that I may have deleted.
Can anyone confirm please, and if you have the apk's I would appreciate a copy please
Thanks in advance!

FYI its best to just freeze apps rather than delete them when you debloat, it has the same effect but is far easier to restore things when you realise something has gone wrong (plus you can quickly see what apps you have removed).

Hey everyone,
As the title states is there a way to remove the AT&T apps from a WP7 yet?
Any help would be appreciated.
Thanks
(Yes, I tried using the search function, no I couldn't find anything relevant sorry if it's been posted before)
any apps that are on the phone which are not there from microsoft can be uninstalled. in the app list, press and hold on any app you do not wish to keep, and there is an uninstall option.
it's just that simple
Title says it all! Some 'friends' installed some inappropriate apps on my phone and while I uninstalled them, they still remain under My Apps - All.
Any ideas? I'm worried that since this is stored on google's side this will be marring my account forever and I would prefer it not to. Searches have led me nowhere.

Deleting apps from My Apps/My Orders
At this time, there is no way to delete records of old apps either on the Google Play website (play.google.com) or from the My Apps section of the Google Play Store app.
We know that some users are looking for a way to delete old apps from Google Play, and we'll certainly take this into account as we work to improve the Google Play experience in the future.

In Short, you're stuck with it, short of making a new google account and re-buying everything there.
PS: That was item #2 in a google search for : google play remove app from my apps
Haha okay thanks. It's all about how you word your searches, I guess. My searches were closer to the thread title.

Note that I've seen.
Sent from my T-Mobile G2
SOLUTION: remove old uninstalled apps from your Play list
Even though on Google support page the answer is that it still cannot be done I have just done it on my phone.
The Play version that I have is 3.9.16, for Jelly Bean and I'm running CM10 on SGS3.
You need to go to the Play-> all apps and the uninstalled ones have a mark on the right. now you hold the app for a while and it becomes 'marked'.
Marking additional apps is done by short press. when you've all the ones you want to remove from the list in top right corner there's 'remove' button. Press out and voila, your Play list is cleaned up.

Yes, I have researched this. I can get the unversalsearch apk and get it to work on my Note but then it disables or over rides the Google Now search and cards which I like.
Is there anyway to get google now to do a universal search? or have the option of both? Another reason for apple to suck it....as I type from my Macbook
I am mainly interested in the search feature working like it used to where it searches emails, texts, music, etc
Thanks for any help.

I dont think google now currently works quite like the old way the goolge search did. Although I agree, I'd like to have both if possible.

If you want google search to search what emails, texts, music etc.. do the following:
1. Press on the search bar (this will take you to the google now/search screen)
2. Press the menu button
3. Settings
4. Phone Search
from there choose what you want the phone to search for.
It will be nice when you can have it use multiple accounts. I don't like having to duplicate events and forward emails just so gn will find out everything I'm doing

thanks for the reply. Unfortunately the only option I have to search emails is using the stock email app. I use gmail. There is also no setting for searching texts
Dear All,
This is my very first post. Can you please help me with the below requests-
a. Is there an app which can act as a voice mail replacement? Say, someone calls my number...and if i do not entertain the call in 30 secs or so..the app will trigger and prompt the caller to record his/her voice message..so that i can hear it later? Basically an answering machine app...i tried a few from the pay store but none worked out properly.
b. Also, can you please suggest me an app which can lock the folders that contain my other installed apps...say i have a folder on my home screen named 'My Apps' that houses some of my installed apps...so instead of individually locking the games, i intend to lock the folder all together, that possible?
Thank you.
P.S>> I am not sure if this is the correct section to request or not. Mods please move this thread if its not.
For the first app that you mention I don't think there is kind of app that does this although you can use Tasker to accomplish this could be difficult but you can do that with Tasker
And for the second app use different kind of app locker which has batch selection of apps currently there is no app that locks apps in folders

Hey guys. So I wanted to try and find a legit Counter Strike 1.6 apk, and I installed one that I really don't want. It basically has a the accessibility to my phone as the Facebook app does, view my messages, camera roll, send texts, etc. My problem is that I can't figure out how to uninstall it. Simply pressing uninstall does nothing and I can't find the files in my document viewer. I'll post some screen shots for you guys. I'm new to Android so this could be an easy fix that I'm not aware of yet. Please help me remove it. Please and thanks.
ps the app is usually always running.
