Hey everyone,
As the title states is there a way to remove the AT&T apps from a WP7 yet?
Any help would be appreciated.
Thanks
(Yes, I tried using the search function, no I couldn't find anything relevant sorry if it's been posted before)
any apps that are on the phone which are not there from microsoft can be uninstalled. in the app list, press and hold on any app you do not wish to keep, and there is an uninstall option.
it's just that simple

In November, I purchased several apps. In December, I had to replace my Windows Phone (Samsung Focus). When I synced my replacement device, three of my purchased apps failed to sync. These three apps are:
When I try to repurchase these three apps either from my Windows Phone, or from the Zune software on my laptop, I get a message stating “already purchased” and the “buy” button is un-selectable.
Anyone have any ideas on this?
Thanks,
Dave
from the phone, you should merely just be able to search for the app in market place, and redownload it. you shouldn't need to hit buy.

Thanks for your suggestion. I gave this a try. It was difficult because I cannot find a search engine when I go to marketplace on the phone (Samsung Focus). In order to find a specific app, the only way I know of to do this is to scroll through all apps.
I found two of the three apps in question. I found no option to re-download the apps. The only options were “update” or “share”. I clicked on update.
I got a status bar that indicated both downloading and installing, but the apps are not found in my list of applications, even after a soft reset. Now when I go back to the apps in marketplace on my phone, the only option for these apps is “share”.
I really don’t get this.
Thanks again,
Dave

You are awesome. Thanks a bunch for the lesson. It hasn't solved my problem but it's great to know and has certainly made my search easier.
Thanks Again!!!!!!!!
Update: Using the suggestions from this thread, I was able to resolve my issues.
It's fascinating that 4 calls to Zune customer service over the past 2 weeks were not able to resolve this. The people I spoke with simply did not know their product.
Thanks again for the help guys!

glad we could help. the search button is useful. app creators need to learn to use it more and provide functions through it so that we get use to using it.
if the app says update when clicking it on the marketplace, means it's already installed....
Hi,
I'm sorry if this has been answered before, I tried searching but I wasn't really sure what keywords to search for exactly....
Also I don't know if this is an ICS specific thing or not, since the Galaxy Nexus is my first Android device, which is why I'm asking here
Anyway, with that out of the way... When you click on a link in an app, say Gmail, it prompts you which app to use to open it. For example for youtube links I get the option of Browser, Youtube app, etc.
Is it possible to modify what is listed here? For example I have ICS Browser+ installed, so i really don't want to see the stock browser in this list...
Hopefully this is something easy enough to do
(BTW my device is rooted, if that is needed, and running 4.0.1)
Thanks in advance
Sorry no, you can't shorten that list. You can choose one app to always open that specific "action", then there won't be a list at all. But if you don't want that I don't know any other option other than uninstalling/disable the unwanted apps in setting > apps.
As long as you have options, you cant shorten the list. Set up your defaults and change them if you need to.
An easy app to help with setting up defaults: "DEFAULT APP MANAGER LITE" its free!

That's a shame, I dont want to set a default because I will use different apps depending on what I want to do.
Oh well, no big deal I can live with that.
Thanks for the info.
Ever since google updated the market i cant seem to find my bought apps in an easy way. Before they were all there. I just scrolled down in the installed apps list and they were at the bottom unless they were installed. Now there is a list in my apps called all where ALL the apps i've tried are listed. Needles to say this list makes it finding once bought apps a very dull task.
Is there some feature i am missing because of pure stupidity from my part or did google remove an easy way to find what i am searching for?
Thank you!
Uninstall updates from google play store. They should be there once update is backed out of. Once you see them again you should be able to update store and they should remain.

I've read around and it doesn't appear completely possible, however hopefully I'm wrong.
Scenario is this;
A user has a normal free Google account, so usual stuff Gmail, etc.
When Google Apps came out, user buys a domain and uses Google Apps on their domain, using their Apps account for everything Google-related..happy days.
User decides one day that they don't want to pay for Apps or their domain anymore and decides to go back to using their original free Google account.
Everything goes beautifully, until user realizes that all the apps they paid for on Marketplace are hard-wired to their Apps account.
User hard resets their phone and restores their apps using Titanium Backup - all looks good and all apps work - however user realizes that none of those apps show up on Marketplace as being installed and therefore will never update - user understands why.
User searches for a solution but gives up and adds their Apps account to the Marketplace dropdown - apps appear as normal now.
Does anyone know if Titanium Backup can shed more light here? Can anyone shed any light please?
Heaps of thanks if you can!
I can't help the OP, but has anyone solved these additional issues?
I can't start a thread so i'm going to put this post under the TiBu and Marketplace thread, which seems reasonable.
I'm having a few problems. I'm rooted and running AOKP JB M1 4.1.2 core.
When i select an app from TiBu and tell it to detach from the Market, the function runs and claims it is successful. When i look in the Play Store, even after a reboot, the app i "detached" still shows up and with an update that i'd like to avoid. Can someone comment on how to successfully accomplish this task?
I also chose the option under the menu to "Integrate sys Dalvik into ROM." Now, every time i reboot, the phone has to Optimize all apps. Is this a flaw of the feature? Is this expected? Is there a step i missed? For now i'll undo that option and live with it, but i'd like to understand why it's prompting an optimization of all apps for every reboot.
Thanks in advance. I hope this forum hasn't become a wasteland.

Hi guys, I'm having an issue when selecting the "search" shortcut on my ring pad, the phone shuts to sleep as if I locked the device (the other shortcut on the ring pad works fine)
I might have deleted something I wasn't supposed to when I was manually de-bloating apps. I still have the google now app, voice search, and google + all installed and working fine so I'm not so sure if this search function is from Google or an LG Search app that I may have deleted.
Can anyone confirm please, and if you have the apk's I would appreciate a copy please
Thanks in advance!

FYI its best to just freeze apps rather than delete them when you debloat, it has the same effect but is far easier to restore things when you realise something has gone wrong (plus you can quickly see what apps you have removed).
